2 slices of pizza and a nice refreshing soda

Good pizza, good music, chill vibes. Service was quick. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who isn't looking for a fancy place but good, live music and a simple pizza to enjoy.

Great place to grab a slice after a surf. The pizza is good. The vibes are better. And the staff is always friendly.

Driven past this joint so many times we thought why not pick up some pizza for a late dinner? Big mistake... their pizza is sooo thin and greasy. Almost all of the toppings slid off when I picked it up. No thanks, we'll just stick to toppers

Super causal spot with lots of outdoor seating, parking lot, and a space of live music. Their pizza is solid- The slices are large and the dough is soft and chewy. They have a couple salad options and wings. Good pizza stop right off the freeway. Owner/manager is also very friendly!

This place was great! They had live music playing and it was super lit up even when we came late! The guy at the front was so nice and easy to talk too. We got our pizza really fast and it was sooo good!! highly recommend this place when passing by Ventura.

Tony's was such a vibe. We came on a Sunday night over Memorial Day weekend and happened to catch Reggae Night, which made the whole experience even better. I actually spotted the place while driving by and decided to stop on a whim. It felt like a true locals' hangout. People of all ages were out dancing, and it was clear a lot of them knew each other. It was so much fun just sitting back, soaking in the atmosphere, and getting swept up in the music. Honestly, it ended up being one of the highlights of my weekend. You order food and drinks at the counter, and luckily there wasn't much of a line when we arrived. It was definitely busy, though, so the wait for our pizza was about 45 minutes. We didn't mind at all because the live music and people-watching made the time fly. We ordered the Tony's Special, which was super generous in size and toppings. The pizza was delicious. One of the best parts was this older gentleman walking around checking in on everyone and clearing tables. He was incredibly kind. When we got up to dance, he passed by later and said, "I wondered where you went," which made us smile. He remembered us and could tell we were new, which made the experience feel even more personal. I really appreciate places that take the time to notice and welcome newcomers. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Back story about this spot. My hubby is a truck driver and passes this spot maybe 3 or 4 times a month. I always like to see his routes and what he see's so we decided to take a day trip to Ventura County to see the sites. He's always been curious about this place so we stopped for dinner. What a cute little gem sitting on the cornier or Thomson Blvd about a 5 minute walk from the beach. When you walk up to the restaurant you are totally taken back to a simpler time. It gives you surf shop vibes. There's only outdoor dining, but that's okay because they have plenty of heat lamps as well as fire pits. They have a stage for band performances which are probably on Friday and Saturday. They also have cute games to play while your wait. Service was quick because the menu is simple. Pizza and salad. They also have wine as well as bottled soft drinks as well as fountain drinks. The Pizza was decent. I enjoyed the toppings more than anything. I think it could've been cooked longer. It was a little greasy but still decent. Crust was thin and crunchy. I will say this warmed up in the over on broil the next day it was perfect. I'm glad my Mister got his curiosity satisfied and we had a great day and night.

I was craving pizza for dinner so we called ahead to order a medium pizza with half pepperoni and half hawaiian. We also ordered some buffalo wings. They told us it would take 30 minutes. We arrived 30 minutes later and the pizza was ready but they said they needed 5 minutes to pour the sauce on the wings. 5 minutes later, the wings were still not ready. I think we ended up waiting an extra 10 minutes just for the wings. Not sure what was the point of us calling ahead to place an order and them telling us 30 minutes if we still had to wait when we arrived. The food was delicious though! I really liked the Hawaiian pizza but my husband liked the pepperoni more. The pizza was pretty oily though... they put the pizza in a paper bag and by the time we went back to our hotel, the oil was seeping through the bag.

It take effort to make a pizza suck this much

Place advertised as having thin "crispy" pizza - pizza is supper soggy, and oily/ no pizza integrity and a zero on the flop scale - worst pizza I've ever had. I called to talk to the restaurant and they told me "yeah that's how we make our pizza! If searching for a late night pizza spot don't let yourself down with this disappointment -

Best pie in Ventura!!!! Sausage and mushroom is the shit!!

You've really gotta try the Strawbanero (Strawberry-Habanero) sauce, as it was a sweet and savory bite that had all three of us fighting over. * Buffalo Barrels (aka Tater Tots) were worth the $5 upgrade. But, I'm somewhat of a Tater Tot junkie, so take that advice for what it's worth. * Fries were fantastic, as well. * Short Rib Melt was delicious, but very, very rich. There is some street parking available, as well. The Ugly: * They had a lot of beers that were out of commission, including several that I was pretty excited to try. =/ Conclusion: Great spot to get your suds and spuds!

My date and I were only given one menu to share, which was inconvenient, and the wooden seats were small and extremely uncomfortable. We also had to get up to order our food and drinks at the counter, which made the experience feel more casual than the pricing suggested. Despite this, a tip was already included in the bill, which felt unusual considering we were responsible for ordering ourselves and the staff only came to our table twice -- once to bring our food and once to check if we had any questions. We ordered two drinks (around $17 each), the yellowtail crudo ($28), the wings ($16 during happy hour), and a margarita pizza with added sausage ($28). The crudo was much too fishy for the price, especially as someone who enjoys fish. The wings were only four small pieces and, while they weren't bad, they were not memorable. The pizza tasted good, but the portion was very small and didn't feel worth the price. Overall, the food was decent and had good flavor, but the portions and pricing did not justify the cost. We spent over $100 and left feeling hungry, which was disappointing. If you decide to come here, don't arrive too hungry unless you're prepared to spend quite a bit for a small amount of food. Also, the responses on 1and 2 star reviews from Pinyon are just copy and pasted with the same excuses.

Our waitress did check on us once our food arrived but didn't bother to refill our waters at all during our meal. I loved the low key vibe of the place. At least the patio seating.
