They said that they could so I brought it in and then walked over to ChickFilA to wait. In a short time they let me know that I had two screws in the tire that I thought had only one and another in my other back tire and they had it fixed and ready to roll! I put down a $1,000 deposit to hold the car while I completed a pre-purchase inspection. I paid for the inspection and sent a mechanic to the dealership. I told them I needed to speak with the inspector and would confirm everything the next day. The inspection came back positive, so I immediately bought a plane ticket to fly up and pick up the vehicle. That same day, after I emailed them my plan and timing, they replied that they had sold the car to someone else and were refunding my deposit. There was no heads-up, no call, and no "we have another buyer, you need to finalize by X time." Just an email saying it was sold. As a result, I'm now out $786 for the plane ticket and the inspection with no remedy. A deposit should actually hold the car, not hold it until someone else walks in the door. I would not do business with Stoops Buick GMC again.

Had an arrangement with another guy set up and he bailed at the last minute. So I cold-called Hobbs and Dave, the owner, is who answered. When I explained the situation, he offered several solutions, including storing my trailer for free since I was in a bind. Who does that these days??? Best part of this place is the mere fact that Mark knew the area well & in fact grew up there too. Sooo glad I accepted his advice too! Not only did Greene's do what they said they were gonna do, they did more IMO w/o the discrepancy in non essential things needing repairs. Big bonus to me. My vehicle had been making a loud funky sound when the wheel turned (front end). My vehicle had new brakes installed last summer around this timeframe. Turned out the brake rotor plate was too extended. This caused the excessive noise I & others heard. So grateful to my buddy Mark who did a solid for me in terms of directing me to Greene's. Greene's rotated my tires, inspected my ride & the total cost was $40. Thank you sooo much Greene's! Hope I don't haveta see you guys for a good while.
