I took a 1/2 day off of work thinking that would help but it didn't, they still couldn't get me in and I was leaving on vacation that night. I looked up other tire stores on Yelp, found Stewart Tire & Auto Service Centers and called to see if they could get me in. They said that they could so I brought it in and then walked over to ChickFilA to wait. In a short time they let me know that I had two screws in the tire that I thought had only one and another in my other back tire and they had it fixed and ready to roll! Not only that, the price was very, very reasonable! If they will treat you like that on the small things, I will definitely give them a shot at the bigger things!

I stopped in on a Friday afternoon. The only signage said "Ralphs" and if not for an open garage door with a car inside, I would have thought it was out of business. A mechanic quickly pulled my car in, raised it up with the car running and determined two flex hoses on my exhaust were worn out. Instead of wanting to replace the whole exhaust, he said he'd cut the sections out and replace them. I walked down the street and ate at Popeyes chicken. When I got back, the car was sitting outside completed. The price was reasonable too. It was so quiet, I couldn't even tell it was running. I am very happy and I would go back to Ralphs.

I bought it and within a week ran over something, pot hole, railroad and broke the rotting Y pipe. The rear catalytic was also rotting out and a code said the manifold catalytic was bad. No, the dealership did not rig the car it was an under 3k minivan to be used as a slop car for my dogs among other things. Ralph's agreed with most of the previous repair place estimate but did not like welding pipe to the rear catalytic to save it. This minivan has 3 catalytic converters. The price at the other place was $2100 for Y pipe, manifold catalytic, oxygen sensor and welding pipe to the rear catalytic . It would also take more than a week to get parts and repair it. The price Ralph's quoted is to replace the Y pipe, replace the rear catalytic with the chance the manifold catalytic might be bad was 964. I asked will that seal up the exhaust and it would. I went with that option. They had it done in a couple days. I've driven it to work and back as a test and put about 50 miles on it. I've not had an issue so far. If it does fail I'm not as concerned as it's not leaking exhaust now. It's a lumbering boat but it runs quieter now and I've noticed it's slowly improving gas mileage.

Also a young lady that appeared to be in her twenties came in for a minor muffler repair and I overheard the mechanic say I can repair that for $20!!!!! I have been taking my cars to him for around 8 years whenever I needed an oil change or any car repair. He is very good at what he does. He has never steered me wrong. In the past if I couldn't get into Bob's and I had to take my car someplace else the other places would tell me that I needed this and that done to my car. Not feeling sure about what they'd tell me, I would wait till I could get into Bob's and he'd look it over and find out that I didn't need everything done to it like the other places claimed. That's why I only trust Bob with all of my car repair needs. His son works with him, as well, and is also an honest person. Best part of this place is the mere fact that Mark knew the area well & in fact grew up there too. Sooo glad I accepted his advice too! Not only did Greene's do what they said they were gonna do, they did more IMO w/o the discrepancy in non essential things needing repairs. Big bonus to me. My vehicle had been making a loud funky sound when the wheel turned (front end). My vehicle had new brakes installed last summer around this timeframe. Turned out the brake rotor plate was too extended. This caused the excessive noise I & others heard. So grateful to my buddy Mark who did a solid for me in terms of directing me to Greene's. Greene's rotated my tires, inspected my ride & the total cost was $40. Thank you sooo much Greene's! Hope I don't haveta see you guys for a good while. But if I do, I know it will be met with much kindness & will be a good investment for sure. Oh yes, I almost forgot. I did have a what do I do when I drop off my car do hickey.
