They have lots of ponies and horses and little horses, goats chicken roosters pigs geese. My daughter loved the pony ride so much that she begged me to write the bigger horse. I was so nervous for her, but she really enjoyed it. Of course you ride at your own risk keep that in mind and keep an eye on your children because as I mentioned on one of the pictures, they say that a horse doesn't bite, but I got a bruise from the bite. The horse bit my daughter first. And they said oh no, it doesn't bite. And I thought maybe it just nibbled on her and she got scared. However, then the horse bit me and I got a little bruise. So yes, the really big horse does bite. Also beware because there is another horse there that says not to feed a carrots and it does say on the sign that it does bite so keeping eye for signs really read the signs before you pet any animal. Some of the horses cannot eat carrots they have like a special diet, so please be respectful of that and do not feed them carrots if it says no carrots it can be for different reasons can be because they bite or because they're on a special diet. The whole staff is super friendly and nice. I really enjoyed talking to all of them and getting to know them. This place is huge. Expect to be here for a while and really enjoy your time. There's so much to see and do. My mom and daughter and I all of us got in the train ride, which was so much fun!!! Honestly, I think everything is pretty reasonable price. They do sell drinks, food, honey, eggs, even duck eggs. I think they do birthday parties, which is awesome. I also seen for the summer. They do rent out the pool area so that sounds fun. I'm considering doing that. It's definitely a hidden Gem and I can't wait to go again!!! my daughter absolutely love love love love this place that she can't wait to go again too. Make sure you follow directions how to defeat the animals it took my daughter a few times to get the courage to feed the horses, but after that, she just wanted to feed all the animals over and over again.

Found this hidden gem in Las Vegas on Facebook and finally decided to check it out with the family…read more We went on a Sunday around 1 PM after church, and while we still had a great time, it was definitely HOT outside. I would highly recommend visiting during cooler weather or earlier in the day so you can enjoy it longer without the heat draining you. The farm itself is a little hidden away, but they do have signs posted for parking, which made it easier to find once we got close. One thing I really liked is that admission is completely free, although they do have a donation box at the entrance if you'd like to support the farm and the animals. There were quite a few animals to see including horses, donkeys, goats, ducks, and pigs. The highlight for us was feeding the animals. Make sure you buy a bag of carrots because the animals definitely know visitors come with treats and they'll come right up to you expecting snacks. The goats especially were very eager and entertaining for the kids. I also noticed they host events here and offer pony and horse rides, which would be really fun for birthday parties or family gatherings. Even though it's a simple little farm, it turned out to be a fun and relaxing activity for kids and families looking for something different to do in Las Vegas away from the Strip. Overall, we had a good experience and would probably come back again when the weather is cooler.

I have been riding and/or boarding my horse at Scott's Stable for over two years. It is a great…read moreboarding stable, with choices of both alpha or grass hay provided for your horse. Horses are fed twice a day, and stalls are cleaned once a day, seven days a week. Plus boarding fees seem very reasonable for the area. The location is fantastic, as it is directly across the street from Floyd Lamb park which is a fantastic place to go riding. The stable has an extremely large 140 X 250 lit arena, a 40 foot lit round pen, as well as a 2100 square foot turnout paddock. Boarders are provided free parking for their horse trailers, and 24/7 access to their horses and all the stable facilities. The owner Richard lives on the property, and is really nice. He is a equine vet who was born and raised in the Las Vegas valley. The stable personnel who feed the horses and clean the stalls also live on the property. Many of the boarders have been there for years, which in it self is a statement on how great a boarding stable this is. For those who are looking for a clean, low key, laid back place to board their horses, I highly recommend this stable.

She has thoroughly enjoyed taking lessons with Amy, so much so that two years ago, she asked Amy to find her a horse. She found Jazzy, a 6-year-old Paso Fino for a reasonable price. Amy has been helping my wife train Jazzy since he arrived. A little over a year ago, my wife convinced me to get my own horse. Once again, Amy located the ideal horse for me, a thirteen-year-old saddle bred mare. Socks is eager to please without being too forward. The only downside with Socks is that she pees more than any other horse on the ranch. Fortunately, the ranch hands are hardworking and conscientious. They do a great job cleaning and raking out her stall. The owners are also very helpful and go out of their way to see to the needs of their customers. We enjoy going to the ranch because it is cooler than Las Vegas, the scenery is beautiful, and the people are friendly.

My mare and I have just "escaped" from Gala Stud Ranch and I just wanted to give others a heads up…read moreabout this ranch: Owner's boarding license is expired. He is also rude and always disagreeable, never acknowledging fault we & is abusive to his employees. Never returns security deposits. Automatic gate has been in disrepair for two years, forcing we boarders to manually open and close chained gates behind us. The round coral is full of weeds. The arena has hard spots. The 1/4 mile track is a dumping ground for manure. All the fences are falling apart and hazardous. The barns are full of pigeons and rats and their feces. Always a problem with broken pipes and flooding. Stalls cleaned of manure once a day but the wet is never removed unless you do it. Old oak trees that need to be trimmed with limbs that fall. Very dangerous. Horses are left without food for 17 to 18 hours daily. Forcing us to feed our own horses. Owners horses aren't very well taken care of just like his run down ranch.

One was bone to bone and the other I had to put down due to coronet band problems that they knew the horse had before selling it to me. Do not buy a horse from her if you are looking for someone else's opinion.
