I'm gonna be flat out honest with this place the buildings are disgusting there pigeon crap everywhere dead birds constantly just laying around they tell you they start rant off at 1,450 but after you sign everything and move in they hit you with a 1800 payment then once your lease is up you'd think the price jump won't be that bad 1 year lease was 1800 month to month 3200$ 6 months 2600 and that's just the rent not utilities or amenities added ontop of it the only reason I still live here is the living soon billings is messed up if I were you I'd just find a house to rent nice owners smarter too maybe took these people 2 months to understand that a co-signer wasn't trying to get an apar there but to co-sign for a resident out of all the apartments I've been too and have heard from others these are probably the fakest nice apartments in this town don't move here unless they change everything about the place read more

Noisy, noisy, noisy!!! You absolutely hear everything that the people living above you in the 2nd and 3rd floors. They now put flooring in the living rooms above the first floor instead of carpeting so it is even worse! These apartments are over 20 years old except for the new ones that were built last year and it shows. People drive too fast all the time and park in spaces that aren't theirs. read more

Having this be my first apartment experience has been wonderful. The ease of knowing I feel not only safe but happy in this community is an understatement. Georgie in the front office has made this move in smooth and she has always been willing to help no matter the questions! !!IF YOU ARE READING REVIEWS OR RENTING READ THIS!! If I could put zero stars I absolutely would. I have attached all pictures and email messages for proof of our experience renting with Hunters Pointe.  Starting at the very beginning. We moved into an apartment on the new phase last November. It was our first time renting and we were very excited. One day after moving in I tried to take a shower in the main shower connected to the main bedroom, to find out that when turning on the shower, 90% of the water was leaking out of the hinges, bottom of the door etc. We thought that it would be a quick fix, caulking, a new seal maybe, we were so very wrong. After leaving multiple work orders, and the office kept closing the orders without fixing it, as well as many calls that we could not use our shower it took until March for them to finally come and fix it, which really was a simple fix. This comes with its own issues, 1. Our first appointment was scheduled on a Thursday morning. We moved around our schedules so that one of us could be there when they came in, hours later at 1:00, nothing. So we call and get it rescheduled. The following Tuesday is the soonest that they could come back, 8:30am. So again, we moved around our schedule and nothing! So we call once again and  the office tells us that it was scheduled for 12:30 not 8:30. I do have proof that it was never 12:30, but ok fine, 12:30 the same day, we will wait. Can you guess what happened for the 3rd time? No one showed up! So we call again, now we were being told that the girl lied/couldn't read a schedule after calling multiple times. We don't even know where she got the time 12:30 from, because we only ever agreed on 8:30am on each day. And that it was now scheduled the next Thursday at 12:30p.m. Finally fixed after missing nearly 3 days of work. I also want to point out that around February we had asked for a credit towards our rent for part of our unit being unusable, we were denied. Our second issue was the elevators! For me, this is one of the biggest ones. Early January we were leaving the apartment, mind you we were on the highest, 4th floor, so we took the elevator. As we are going down the elevator went lopsided and dropped a couple inches on us. This very obviously scared both of us pretty bad, so as soon as we got out we called the office. At this point we figured they did not know about it, maybe it was the first time it happened. They told us that they would have maintenance come check it out. We went about our day. From January until we moved out in JULY, this kept happening with the elevator. We called multiple times, our neighbors called many times as well. They refused to have the elevator company come out for months. Finally, they had the elevator company come out and so we tried the elevator again, it was not fixed. We call just to let them know that it was still happening and I was met with the RUDEST conversation from Elizabeth, the manager. She told me that they would not fix it, and I was the only one calling, and that I needed to stop calling. I now know MULTIPLE of our neighbors were calling it in as well. I attached the videos of what it would do, either dropping or closing you in for a minute and letting you back out on the same floor. This was a DAILY thing.  My third issue was upon move out. We were told we have to sign a notice to vacate form which is typical so we did. I had asked for the cleaning check list so that I didn't have to be charged $250 cleaning fee. After asking she was taken back and told me that that wasn't an option. I told her that I knew it was, at that point she magically had the printed cleaning check list from a pile of them in her drawer. Whatever. She then says that we needed to schedule a maintenance walk through, and a final cleaning walk through. I had asked the do the cleaning walk through a day before move-out, so we could have our 24 hours for any touch ups. She then told me that they just schedule it on the last day of our lease. Meaning she was not going to give me the 24 hours that they legally have to give you. Because I knew better, it was scheduled the day before. At our cleaning walk through I have never seen anyone so beyond rude or nit-picky. We were very respectful tenants of their property, I will attach pictures of what it looked like.  As far as the move out fees, the first was shampooing the carpet. I did shampoo both carpets and was told at the walk through it had to be professionally shampooed, so I asked where it was in the lease. I was told on the lease it is "worded so that they could add it in the notice to vacate form and we would have to do it". Downright messed up, put it in your lease. There was also a "sanitation fee", I again asked where that was in our lease multiple times. After about a week of asking I finally got a response although she would only answer me in person (no paper trail) saying that it was not in the lease and she "would eat the cost". read more

LIVE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! The apartments themselves are decent (if you don't mind poor constructio with polished aesthetic) but the management and the staff are the absolute worst! They have wrongly charged many times, lied about several things (I have ALL the receipts and pictures of proof) and now just recently that I have moved out have waited 31 days to even ISSUE my refund check (if they even have) and they lied to me about it! My lease ended October 13th and they claimed to have issued my refund on November 4th--just found out today (November 18th) that the check wasn't even issued until November 14th and they have lied to me about it. Just one of the MANY lies and deceptions they have been telling me and probably many other tenants. Again, the apartments themselves aren't terrible but dealing with the management and staff has made that place UNBEARABLE to live for me and many other tenants who I have spoken to who have left for very similar reason. I will be taking legal action and also filing a complaint with the BBB for my ENTIRE experience with them. read more

My experience leasing an apartment at Hunter's Point, Billings, MT, 2022-2023. I learned a great deal from this 14 month lease. It is important to take move-in pictures and go throughly through the move-in checklist and cleaning checklist. Make any notes on move-in checklist that will help you during move-out. Ask for the cleaning checklist, this will be given to you on move-out but is a great guide to what you should be looking for during move-in. If something does not work, submit maintenance work order and they will come and fix it. They have a good maintenance team. I work from home. The apartment life was too loud for me. There is a park onsite and on the west side of the buildings which generate a lot of noise. The apartment does not have bike racks. You have two options, carry bike up and down the stairs or rent a storage. There are good bike paths all around Billings:) The laundry room onsite had issues but I hear they are replacing some of the machines. Overall, through the ups and downs the management did their best to work and come to fair agreements. read more

Yep five out of five these people run a great property. The staff from the front office to those guys rain or snow in maintenance are always doing anything they can to keep it clean and functioning. I get moved around a lot didn't want to do an apartment but 1340 sqft with pool Hot tub work out room just can't be beat and for 1100 WITH A GARAGE feels like a home read more

I am glad that I decided to rent here when I could no longer take care of my own home. I have a 2 bedroom and I find it to be roomy and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and park-like. Maintenance keeps it up all year long. Problems are easy to report and handled quickly. Staff is helpful. Renters are friendly. I was able to bring my dog and cat with me. read more

After cleaning the apartment for two days and getting a neutral third party to inspect before the management inspection, I was told my security deposit was used to reclean the apartment. During the check out inspection the asst manager did not mention this recleaning or identify places in need of cleaning. Basically, expect the owners will use the entire security deposit to clean regardless of what you do. More ethical to just tell tenants that the cleaning will use up their entire security deposit. read more

This is one of the most poorly managed apartment complexes we've ever seen. And all the good reviews you see, watch out because they give an incentive for current tenants to write reviews in exchange for a chance to win money off their rent. Anywho, we had issues with noisy neighbors for over a year and a half where we were woken up as early as 5am and kept up as late as 1am. Each time we complained, all we were told is that kids will be kids and there was nothing they could do. I'm pretty sure that was a violation of the quiet hours if you're woken up at 5:30am on a daily basis from screaming kids (they were about 3 and 5, so not babies) to the point we started recording it on our phones because they wanted proof. Towards the end of living there we were threatened with the termination of our lease due to violating the no smoking on balcony policy. The funny thing is that neither of us smoke and no one bothered to come talk to us, just slid the note under our door while we were home. They offer a pool and hot tub but those were out of service for a year so I'm not sure why tenants weren't compensated something back for the inability to use the amenities. And to top it off, we had to call 37 days after moving out about our deposit because we had yet to see it (you're supposed to get it within 30 days) and they claimed it got lost in the mail. Nice try guys, but postage doesn't lie when it was stamped the day I called. Watch out for this place, they will scam you for every dollar you have. The only positive we had was the maintenance guys were absolute sweethearts. read more

We have lived at hunters pointe for about two years now I've never had a problem with management they are always sweet when we call and take all problems into consideration. Anytime anything has been broken or needed to be fixed maintenance has been right on it usually the same day if not the day after they keep the place picked up they do things around the complex to keep people involved and overall the apartment we live in is pretty clean. read more
