We tent camped and stayed on site T1, which had green grass--flat with no rocks or tree roots to worry about. There was plenty of shade, and we really appreciated how few mosquitoes there were. We were able to sit outside comfortably until after dark. The bathrooms were clean, with flush toilets and free hot showers. While the sites are a little close together, they still felt surprisingly spacious. Overall, a great experience--we would definitely come back!

An ice cream truck was there for several hours. My impression was that there is a rotation of different trucks each day. Check-in was easy and they have a store by the office. There's a good-sized playground too. Sites are gravel and somewhat close to each other. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The shower and bathroom are combined into individual units so there was a lot of privacy. They were very clean. Easy access to the highway.

I covered the pool For the winter, and when I took the cover off and started to clean it and put the extra water back in. It started to leak. I hadn't even been in the pool yet, but it was leaking so I immediately called and called and called and texted and was pretty much told too bad we're not coming. They took my money with no problem $10,000 they took and I have a pool that I cannot use. I've reached out to other places to come replace the liner and when I tell them where I got my pool, they will not touch it. I just do not understand the blatant disregard for someone who trusted you with $10,000 of their money. I'm not sure this can be resolved because I do not believe they will come and replace the liner even though I would be willing to pay for that and the labor and the travel and I've made that clear. So I have pretty much just wasted $10,000 on a swimming pool that I cannot use.

This place-- I'd give zero stars. I wouldn't even have a place like this running. We were so tired,…read moreafter driving, we wanted to just sleep. The check in was close to 400 for 3 days after paying with cash- zero amenities, no washer nor dryer, nothing! There is a diner connected to the lodge but zero activity nor complimentary breakfast, it's ok, I wouldn't trust eating there. First off, we are given a key that only locks the push in knob, the master lock on top only closes from the inside which I noticed right away. Secondly- when we walked in, the carpets in the hallway were old, stained- filthy, same with the rooms. Carpet cleaner would help this place out or hardwood floors. Absolutely filthy- indoor sandals needed. The place smelled and had odors. The walls were dirty, AC unit dirty, dust and stains everywhere. Pillows too hard or so light it was like you were sleeping on paper. Mattress was uncomfortable, we both had neck and back issues end of our stay. Bathroom was scary- sandals again. The knob to turn on shower water had internal mold growing inside. The rooms are so dark that when you open the old curtains you only get a view of the parking lot, invest in blinds and privacy blinds to allow natural light. Upon returning from our day, (second day now), I noticed and felt something was off with the room, so I decided to zip both rolling bags a certain way, closed meeting in the middle, after a few hours of leaving and returning the 3rd day- I was right. Zippers were opened and tampered with. That's why this key thing is suspicious. Someone goes into the rooms when you're gone to look through your stuff. I highly recommend to not stay here, report them, bring a camera, or don't leave anything like money, cameras, jewelry, etc behind. Super shady place. My bf was heated, he wanted to go up to them and confront them and leave, but we were leaving that next morning and luckily we were smart enough to only leave clothes and toiletries behind. Employees obviously don't get paid enough, or have drug habits,it looks like a lot of reformed ex cons and druggies that were hired to work here. So in the back room up front, someone watching cameras knows you're gone- is coming into your rooms snooping around in hopes to find something of value. This place needs a full revamp and new team. Gives Montana and Billings a bad name.

Because the undercover ICE agent with no hair who also bartends on the weekends to make sure his bills are paid (child support is a pain).. will ruin your night.. don't touch the curtains on the stage and definitely don't roam around the floor to hype people up while you sing karaoke.. because he'll unleash his dogs on you (the security guards. That's right.. whoever you are that is security for this place.. just know.. he thinks u are his little minions)... anyways.. small guy. Cool bar.. just don't try to have fun on karaoke night.

The room was clean and comfortable and I loved the decor. Breakfast at Bernie's was delicious and the one server was so nice. It took forever, I think they were a bit understaffed.
