I write from my own experiences. While a further trip then my current Audio Center, I am glad I went. She was thorough in testing and well spoken so I could hear the information she shared. I give her 5 stars. Her office person Diane was not in at this visit. I have not gotten the hearing aids yet and I can only hope they are better than the ones I currently have. Which to my surprise were covered with wax and she cleaned them for me. No wonder they were not working well. (yes, I had made unsuccessful appointment attempts at my current hearing place when I started having problems with them) Thus once gotten and adjusted new hearing aids, and seeing and hearing how they work, I can refurb on the extra star. The area is beautiful. Main Street and Argile Theater are down the block. Thre is also a pond in the back (birds with babies) off the parking area. Note: If using a GPS put in 20 Argile Square to take you directly to parking lot and upon entering note the direction of the arrows to find parking and entrance. (see pix) Office is at far end. It is comfortably furnished with varied certificates and pictures placed on the walls. Note: Hours and days, or call or check as needed for appointments and follow ups. Not sure whether she was not comfortable working with children, or children with special needs but we are definitely not satisfied with the care provided. We were told that her 6 year old hearing aids were not good enough anymore and we were talked into having to purchase another pair for more than $5500. And despite having to pay for the new aids out of pocket (they did not accept our insurance) we still had to struggle to have her attempt to adjust the levels. After 15 months of frustration and payments we opted to take our business elsewhere. Dr. Jennifer DiMarco took her time with my examination and fit me with hearing aids that were perfectly suited for me and my lifestyle. In the past, I have had hearing aids from another hearing care center (not Otohealth) and was not happy with them. Once I had the hearing aids, the audiologist was not readily available to address my questions or concerns. Dr. DiMarco is the exact opposite. She encouraged me to communicate with her as often as I need to have any questions answered. She scheduled me for a follow up appointment right away. Buying hearing aids is an investment. You want to be able to trust the fact that you are getting a product that's best suited for your needs. Dr. DiMarco goes over and above all expectations. The most careless and heartless health provider I have EVER contacted. You should never go to this…read moredoctor due to their HEARTLESS policy of not seeing anyone without the ability to fully confirm their insurance. I was willing to pay UP FRONT IN CASH, they still would not see me. I have an urgent eye health issue. As a new employee who started with my company in the last few weeks, I am fully covered and can be seen by ANY provider-- and have confirmed such with my HR department several times today. My insurance WILL PAY. However due to the holidays and employee availability, my coverage is not yet confirmed with my insurance provider BCBS. This is purely an administrative timing issue related to my recent start date-- and I would be fully covered in the event I was seen by any provider. However--- due to the self serving policy of Morris & Romanelli, they refuse to see me unless they can confirm I am covered WITH the insurance provider. It is 4 days before christmas, I have called over 36 different eye doctors, no one has appointments. I can see why Morris & Romanelli has an opening--- because they are heartless and their customers know it. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR, EVER!!! I am sure their greed and uncaring nature towards their neighbors (I live literally down the road) reflects in the care they give to their patients. I will be leaving this review in as many places as I can find to warn others about this practice. "We cant bend the rules for anyone, sir". "That would be fraudlent". Why is it fraud to see someone who HAS COVERAGE? Why is it fraud to see someone who is willing to pay cash???? I would have been happy to submit a claim afterwards to be reimbursed.
