First they can change the service package. You have to pull around and wait to get the tire shine. Also no self services vacuums. So you then feel pressured to pay and tip for them to have people come out and do what is included if they were to have customer vacuums. Also after a snow storm now they ironically are closed for renovations. I can only imagine what amazing upgrades they are doing. Since every other time someone has to come out and give you a whole speech about turning on your hazards. Owner needs to invest money to catch up with the simplicity of Odenton and Frederick. Paid for the highest level wash which includes a full wipe down, vacuum, dash wiped, all interior windows cleaned, etc. had to ask them to clean my rear window after they told me they were done. As I'm driving away I see they didn't clean the dash, they sprayed the floor mats with a hand spray bottle but didn't wipe it down, they didn't apply the air freshener. Truck was clearly not wiped down, soap remnants remained. This all happened when they weren't busy so they are just rushing for no reason. Poor management and quality control. read more

They charge you 40 dollars for a car wash and to clean the inside but if you have dog hair they Either don't vacuum it or wait until you complain then tell you that they charge extra for dog hair?! They really have become the worst. I paid for the platinum. My mats weren't washed, my center console not wiped, hard to tell if there is tire shine, and asked one of the guys to please wipe the back door of my Jeep since the machine doesn't get it all - and he didn't do it. Unfortunately- it was to too dark to see any of this before I left otherwise I would have addressed it. But at the end of the day - I would be nice for them to simply do what they are paid to do. This was the worst car wash I've ever been to. I paid the maximum amount at $38 and I have a small car with leather that should have been really easy to just vacuum and wipe down. The people seemed nice and really helpful but the "cleaning" was horrendous. I had to redo everything myself. The only thing done well was rinsing off my rubber mats but they put it back in super wet. Look at the pictures. They were taken immediately after I left and started looking around my car when I noticed my armrest and passenger seat were still dirty. I don't think they wiped down my back seat at all, Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else. I am officially done with this business. The last 4 times I have gone, have been absolutely worthless. I should have gone with my gut and written them off completely at this point. But, here we are. Today just pushed me over the edge. This is the condition of my car after taking it TWICE today. The first time it didn't even look like anyone touched it. So I called and the manager Tom had me bring it back. So, I did. I showed Tom the mess and he said that the employees just sometimes go too fast and miss things. Miss things?! Absolute worst! I stopped going here years ago due to the fact when you pay for the highest option they do a terrible job vacuuming and cleaning the interior of your vehicle. Now fast forward to today where I decided to give them one more chance and only do the 19 dollar outside wash to knock the pollen off my truck. I pay and pull around and no one is in the car wash so I follow the directions on the big screen on the left saying please move forward. I keep moving forward until I can't see the screen and nothing happens so I backed up and tried again. This happened twice. So my wife went through, paid for best car wash... wheels and tires not done right. Never cleaned wheels. Tire shine was out on like a 3 year old coloring a picture. My wife gets to school and picks up kids right after and 3rd row was never vacuumed. I went through after, again paid for best car wash... rims not touched and tire shine was put on uneven and not on the complete tire. Floor mats just rinsed, not cleaned. I have a tall truck so if it wasn't that this is the only place around that my truck fits I wouldn't come here. Just had the interior "cleaned" since the machine was broken and could not get a wash. Not sure what "clean" means, I understand it's not a "detail", but it was barely "wiped". Couldn't have done less vacuuming if they tried. Dash was sprayed with something sticky that I just had to scrub with a wet wash cloth. Purchased a membership and was told the second month would be free. Not only was it NOT free but I was charged more than the original package that I had signed up for. Received a 'Billing' number and have called several times and left a message to no avail. It would seem their communication is as bad as their car wash & drying abilities. So disappointed! Paid $35 for a platinum wash today and left with a dirty car! Once I got home I realize that I had blue spots all over the side of my vehicle that had dried as well as dead bugs still on the front so I had to rewash. In addition, apparently the platinum includes interior vacuum but they do not vacuum the back. I had specified that we had sand in the car that I wanted vacuumed up and they did not remove any of it. I love this car wash and can't say enough good things about it! Not only do I get great service, the employees are top notch! I visited another location (in Anne Arundel County) and it was much fancier then the Huntingtown location with upgraded equipment. I got a great wash, but none of the employees even spoke to me or changed out my air fresheners. That's why I love the Huntingtown location, I've gotten to know most of the employees and Tom, the manager, and they are such a hard working crew and yet so personable. Yes, Tom is outside working hard alongside his crew, not sitting in a climate controlled office giving orders! I've been there when it's freezing cold and so hot, you don't want to go outside, yet they always greet me with a smile, positive attitude, and never complain. There are times I have felt bad for them working in such extreme weather conditions! The crew knows me by name and they know what fragrance I like, it's the little things, that matter so much. They take the time to get to know there customers and make you feel welcomed. They put a lot of pride into there work. Although it was a cold day I had taken my truck (to wash off the salt from snow plows ect) and I pay for the deal only to find out at the end they couldn't vacuum because it was too cold ...... wow it wasn't too cold for me to pay full Price tho: They also offer a $5 deal, I've tried it on my car and truck and because you can't get out anywhere and dry your own car (no place they only have bays to vacuum, dry your car and for you to exit) by the time I get home there are spots everywhere that won't easily wipe off...... So even tho you think it's a deal it's really not because I had to rinse it off again and dry myself ..... I'm willing to pay for quality service I'm not cheap but seriously it's not worth going to me. I purchased the Ultimate Wash for $24. While waiting, i watched cars go through the machine and noticed the soap was activated about 1/2 way up the hood on most cars and continued to spray after the car passed for about 6 feet of travel. Does not appear to be adjusted properly. The Ultimate Wash adds tire shine. Don't confuse this with even a basic wipe down of the wheels...that cost $5 more. BIG CONCERN...when I started the engine and put it in drive it raced forward because they reinstalled the floor liner on top of the gas pedal instead of behind it causing UNINTENDED ACCELERATION. I will inspect my car better from now on before I accept their work. read more

Overall, I was happy with the results. As an FYI to everyone, this is not a 'touch free' facility. Not really a problem, but I really prefer touchless. A long time ago I worked many years as a car care professional and I have a very nice car so I am a stickler for details. I'm going to review this place based on 5 factors: Wait time, Price, Interior, Exterior, Overall. Wait Time: 3/5 Stars - Something must have been wrong with the track b/c I was in line about 20 minutes with only 4 cars in front of me. Stuff happens, so I'm not terribly upset by that. After my car went through, it was another 25 minutes for my car to be ready. I'll live, but the overall wait time of almost an hour when they were't slammed was more than I wanted to wait, hence the 3 stars. Price: 4/5 Stars - I spent $30 on the Silver Spa Package - That means I upgraded to get the Center Console Cleaning, and Dash Dressing. It's a little pricey and I'm not sure if I would be able to tell the difference between them just wiping down the console with a damp cloth. I will likely 'downgrade' to the "Ultimate Works Wash" and see if I can tell a difference. Interior: 5/5 Stars - I don't like putting fragrance's in the car so I opted not to do this, but it appears they had multiple cents you could choose from. The car was well vacuumed and they took my floor mat's out to clean them. Good stuff. The part that scared me was with the 'dash dressing'. I got in the car before it had dried, and I could see swirls so I was instantly not happy. I thought that whatever they rubbed on the dash was going to dry and leave visible swirls. It didn't. So...good. Exterior: 2/5 Stars - The overall 3 star rating is mostly due to this category b/c it's a car wash. People see the exterior of the car. Like I said in the beginning, I'm a stickler for details. I always walk around the car to make sure there are not glaring issues before leaving. Since the car was out there for 25 minutes after being washed, I'm assuming most of the water evaporated before being wiped off. Just b/c it's dry, doesn't mean it shouldn't be wiped down. On the Driver and Passenger door, both bumpers, trunk and spoiler, there were LARGE areas that still had dirt on them. So I called an attendant over who re wiped down the areas I pointed out. I appreciated that he fixed it, but man it really upsets me when this isn't caught first. If I hadn't checked and said something to the attendant and saw the results when I got home, this would have been a much different review with 2 less stars and I never would return. Overall: I'm happy with the results. My car looks great which I appreciate, so I will likely go back, BUT I highly recommend to everyone to make sure to give their car a once over to make sure that it's truly clean. read more

Just went to this car wash, as my car was in desperate need of a cleaning. I got the $35 Platinum wash which included everything possible (exterior/interior cleaning). I knew my car would take a bit of work, as there was a lot of dust and dirt, but quite a bit of the obvious dirt was missed (see photos). I wasn't expecting a brand new looking car ... actually shouldn't that be the expectation if you're paying for the top cleaning option? What I did expect was the obvious dirt spots around my emergency break and gear shift to be cleaned. I left a good tip, before I even saw my car, since it looked as if they were hard at work cleaning it. If I decide stop in again, I'll have to look my car over before I tip, or ask them to clean the missed areas. I gave three stars because it looks 75% cleaner, but it wasn't the clean I was hoping for. Plus they missed giving me the "new car" freshener scent, that I believe they place under the seat. (My car has no scent right now.) The only other car wash nearby has you vacuum and wipe down the interior yourself, so that's why I chose the Auto Spa. I may look into a local, small business person who comes to the customer, next time. read more

Had my car washed here this week and was definitely satisfied with the attention to detail and quality of the end product. I purchased the ultimate spa package #3 and was very pleased with how clean it looked! Tires were nice and shiny, rims were clean, and the inside was nearly spotless. Definitely worth the trip from North Beach and I will be returning! I do not recommend this business I've been to this car wash many times, on different days and different times, always wanting to give this business another try, hoping they improved. Unfortunately, they have not improved. For the prices of car washes here, compared with other local places, Auto Spa is on the high side. The attendants do not have pay any attention to detail and rarely is my car vacuumed or wiped down well. I recently paid for the premium service and the car was finished in 6 mins There were still crumbs in the lower dash area and nothing was wiped down well. This car wash also has no add-on options such as extra vacuuming, and that is frustrating to me. I once asked if they vacuum in-between seats and my answer was that this isn't a detail just a regular vacuum. Nothing about this business is customer service oriented and they do the minimum required. Def not worth the money or the wait times (waits are more due to being unorganized than volume of cars). read more

Yesterday was the last day and last chance I will ever give this place. The rinsing in the wash itself does not rinse everything off- so when you get that "lava" wax- be prepared for them to windex and just smear that wax all over your windows. Also pretty sure they used the same rag for drying off the vehicle and cleaning the windows. I have an SUV- they didn't even vacuum the rear hatch area and didn't bother to clean the insides of those windows- I had to ask. Needless to say the guy wasn't thrilled. Even the front seats had crumbs on them- they are leather so its not like those crumbs are hard to get out. All but one employee looked to be teenagers. I have been to other locations for this chain such as the Gambrills location and have been more impressed. This chain has the satisfaction guarantee- you aren't happy with it, then they will redo the entire service- here's the thing, it shouldn't have to be redone. It should be done right the first time. I have let the redo the services in the past- but obviously having them redo it doesn't get them to do it right the next time. I didn't even bother talking to a manager- I am done with this location and will take my business elsewhere. My 40 something dollars can go a long way elsewhere for what is supposed to be top of the line package. read more

I went here for the first time today and had a horrible experience. I will not go back. First my antenna was left on during my wash. Then I had to wait 35 minutes for my interior to be cleaned...which would have been fine EXCEPT they were taking cars that pulled up after me first. Also my back seat was untouched with the vacuum and my passenger seat was full of crumbs still. My windows were streaky and there was still a layer of dust on my matte interior. I'm very disappointed. For $25 I could go to magic tunnel twice...I would have to do the cleaning myself, but at least I know it would be done thoroughly. read more

I usually go 2 to 4 times a month. Great group of people and they keep my cars and truck looking good. I have the monthly deal for my truck and it makes it easy to keep it clean.
