WARNING to anyone considering this spot: If I knew this before, I wouldn't have signed a lease…read morehere. At first, I had a very pleasant experience with the front office. Since I was signing a lease in October (out of their leasing season which is April-September, I was limited to two lease options: a 9-month lease or an 18-month lease. I thought the 18-month lease made the most sense, but because I was unsure if I would stay for a full 18 months, I asked what the options were if I wanted to terminate the lease early. I was told the only things I would have to do would be: 1. give 30 days notice and 2. pay the buyout fee. Fast forward one year later, my husband and I had bought a house and reached out to the office to put in our 30 days notice. I was told by the front desk that wasn't an option, because they only allow 2 buyouts per month. She let me know they already had 2 buyouts for October, November, December and January, which meant the earliest I could buy out of my lease was February. Since my lease ended in April, it would have cost me more to buy out of the lease in Feb than if I just paid through the rest of the lease. They were not flexible on this at all, regardless of the fact that it was never mentioned to us or listed in the lease. When I asked where it was written in the lease I was told "It's not in there, but that's how we've always done things". This conversation coming from the same person who I spoke to initially when signing the lease and asked about the termination steps. If there is 1% of you that thinks they might need to terminate your lease early, find a different spot.

I have lived 12 of those 30 years facing the golf course, which I highly recommend as the sunsets one gets facing west can be absolutely spectacular. The staff is always professional and pleasant and the neighborhood boasts 3 grocery stores, 2 of which you could walk to. Highly recommended!

Don't plan on getting your security deposit back. I lived here for a year and when it was time to…read moremove out they blamed me for some BS carpet damage that their "carpet guy" found. There was no damage while I was living there and if there was, I didn't cause it. The managers robbed me of $700 and I bet I'm not the only one they've done this to.

Worst and most expensive place I've ever lived!…read more Noise- You can hear every move your neighbors make (sneezes, walking ,etc) and most of my neighbors threw drunken parties every night. Apartment complex said there was nothing they could do and just call the police to report. Parking- Good luck ever finding a parking place, the spots, the street, and anywhere else is taken all the time. Construction- I found so many rusty nails on my balcony that I couldn't use it any more. Door knobs feel off, fan chains fell off, and the entire apartment felt like it would collaspe at any minute. Management- The worst people ever! They don't respond to your questions or concerns and once you move in they don't feel like you deserve the time of day. I would fax, email, call, and leave Facebook messages with no responses. All in all you can find much nicer houses to rent for far less money. If you're not an underage college student getting drunk by the pool they don't have any interest in working with you. Save your money and frustration and find another place to live. I couldn't even stick it out for a full year here and I never got a good nights sleep.

Fairfield Village Apartments - Stuff that was in the laundry room is now in our kitchen and drywall dust all over the place.

I would NOT recommend living here unless it's your absolute last option…read more We've had a ceiling leak for 3 MONTHS, and the issue is STILL not fixed. Management has continued doing "quick fixes" instead of actually fixing the problem. They also don't seem to properly inspect units before people move in. When we moved in, we already had multiple issues: * Front door panel coming off * Doors that wouldn't close properly * A cracked bathtub * A freezer that barely worked * And other problems Management will text you saying maintenance is coming, and then no one shows up. We've also had outside companies come out for repairs, and management has repeatedly blamed them for problems that weren't their fault. One example: our washer and dryer were scratched, drywall dust was left throughout our home, our belongings were left scattered around, and our back door was left unlocked. Someone even left urine all over our toilet seat. Management did take $500 off our rent because of this ongoing issue, and honestly, that was nice of them and we do appreciate that. BUT the problem is still not fixed. A rent credit doesn't change the fact that we've been dealing with the same issue for 3 months. When we complained, management blamed the plumbing company. So we contacted the company ourselves--and what we were told did NOT match what management told us. At this point, we've experienced multiple excuses and conflicting stories, and we're tired of having to chase people down just to get basic repairs done. If you're thinking about moving here, PLEASE do your research first. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend looking somewhere else.
