We have lived here for about a year, plan on extending our lease. They have a monthly news letter with what's new. We love their, almost monthly, socials this really gives us time to meet our neighbors and discover more about the town. Pool area is nice, very ambient, but there are so many other amenities that make the place well worth the money. Gift wrapping (all year long), business center, free event room, they sign for our packages, there is an ok ( not fabulous, but it's close and it's pretty much all that one would need) gym, nice jacuzzi, free video "rental", sun tanning, and always helpful staff if you need something, especially good for people who are new in town. John, the maintenance man is great. He comes over to fix what ever is needed, he is very responsive. He is super nice, very positive and has a very nice personality, no matter how silly or minor my issue has been, he has been able to fix it and be super cool about it ( in the past I've seen people scuff and give me attitude because the problem is minor- most likely because I'm a female, but not John). I'd say John has been the best, most responsive maintenance person, of course that is also with the help of the office staff who do their part with the communication. There is plenty of parking, even for guests. read more

Don't plan on getting your security deposit back. I lived here for a year and when it was time to move out they blamed me for some BS carpet damage that their "carpet guy" found. There was no damage while I was living there and if there was, I didn't cause it. The managers robbed me of $700 and I bet I'm not the only one they've done this to. read more

Worst and most expensive place I've ever lived! Noise- You can hear every move your neighbors make (sneezes, walking ,etc) and most of my neighbors threw drunken parties every night. Apartment complex said there was nothing they could do and just call the police to report. Parking- Good luck ever finding a parking place, the spots, the street, and anywhere else is taken all the time. Construction- I found so many rusty nails on my balcony that I couldn't use it any more. Door knobs feel off, fan chains fell off, and the entire apartment felt like it would collaspe at any minute. Management- The worst people ever! They don't respond to your questions or concerns and once you move in they don't feel like you deserve the time of day. I would fax, email, call, and leave Facebook messages with no responses. All in all you can find much nicer houses to rent for far less money. If you're not an underage college student getting drunk by the pool they don't have any interest in working with you. Save your money and frustration and find another place to live. I couldn't even stick it out for a full year here and I never got a good nights sleep. read more

We moved to the Springfield area from So. California. After visiting the area, choosing a place to live we prepared for our big move. Unfortunately, after working with the complex we thought we would be moving to for months it didn't work out and we had no place to call "home". From 2000 miles away I did research on other places close to my family and found Weaver Creek. I had my family go do a tour and check it out for us and once I got the green light began my communication with Kelly. We worked everything out and she was always super helpful - even sending pictures to me of our place to ease my mind since I was moving my family and pets to a place I had never seen!! Once we got here I went to the office to meet in person and pick up our keys - the entire staff and Kelly were extremely friendly and had been expecting our arrival. It was a great experience. Kelly offered to give me the "prospective resident" tour but I declined - this was an extra nice touch since I had already signed a year lease. When I opened our door I was greeted by a "Welcome" basket of goodies and a welcome card, another nice touch! The next day when we moved some boxes over to the new place another card was waiting got me, attached to our door - it was a birthday card for my husband! I absolutely loved our new place! The apartments themselves are new and modern and have all the "extras" to make it feel like a home. Lots of storage, inside laundry room (which I LOVE!), spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a few minor maintenance issues since moving in and I feel they are always taken care of promptly and the job is done well. I have experienced lots of time at the pool - which has always been enjoyable. The community has had a couple of fun hosted events - both if which were well put on and fun for the entire family! Our neighbors are all quiet and we haven't experienced any loud noises or parties. There is always TONS of parking and lots of available spots for guests. I hope this provides a more accurate view from a current resident who loves where she lives! read more

Do yourself a massive favor and look elsewhere for a rental home in the area. Weaver Creek is supremely over-hyped. The apartments are spacious, new, and nice, but the price is sky high. You can find rental homes (not even apartments) in Springfield for drastically less money and trouble. I lived here temporarily while my new home was prepared, and at every turn I found completely disorganized and inefficient employees. They could never find the information needed, forget leaving a message with anyone in the office, they were not clear on policies and there seemed to be NO communication among the office staff. The ladies who work there are very quick to provide what seems like good friendly service but they will just tell you anything you want to hear, and later you will find out they lied to you to "take care of the issue" and no issues are really resolved with this team of clowns. They talk a lot about the amenities but most are accessible only at inconvenient times (for example, their selection of free movie rentals is laughable at best). We had nothing but problems during the time we lived there. It is like Jersey Shore at their pool, with loud fake tanned coeds being obnoxious all day and evening during the summer months. The parking lots are not large enough to accommodate the vehicles of residents; forget about guests! It is a safe community and decent surroundings, but not the nicest place to live for the price. It's basically a nice looking place with all of the same issues as any other complex. If you wish to pay several hundred extra for a newer apartment with cookies in the lobby, be my guest. We wouldn't do it again. read more

we just recently moved out, we didnt move out because the apartments are bad or nothing like that, we purchased a home. but these apartments are the very best, never had an issue with neighbors, they are really friendly, security patroling up and down the apartments, feel safe, especially all the amenities the apartments provide are the BEST! so if you are looking for some great,quiet, and secure apartments, these are the apartments you have been looking for. thank you weaver creek for making our first year in springfield the best! read more

I am still here and I still love it. The bathroom dude upstairs sort of makes me wonder if maybe he needs to get his parts checked out for the frequency of his use but it's easier to ignore now. It would seem that like clock work every single light bulb burnt out all at once. Kids unattended dragging their gaming systems down to hook up in the clubhouse tv room is a little odd. But these ladies handle more packages per day for all of us here than most small town post offices. Kudos to you ladies!!! They quickly replaced a broken dryer that I rent from them when mine burned out. Didn't screw around trying to fix it. Just brought a new one. Awesome. This summer they cleaned and resealed all the cedar decks and trim. Really looks nice. Did a good job managing the slick ice spots. Only major complaint is overflowing dog pots and lack of dog pot bags. I really like it here. My internet is super fast. And the cable is nice too. read more

I have lived at Weaver Creek since January 2011. Sadly, I will be moving out July 1 2012. We originally moved into a 2 bed/2 bath with myself and my husband in the master and a good friend in the guest bedroom. I will admit, rent is a little pricey, but split between the 3 of us, totally do-able. When you stack on all the amenities you get as well, its worth it in my opinion. (And I'm a "starving" college student). The pool is beautiful and so much fun in the summer. The music is great and the space to have BBQ's/parties is abundant. As far as "Jersey Shore"-ish, I didn't see any of that. But that's just my opinion. I love the fitness center, free tanning, paid utilities (except electric), free cable an internet, the business center, the beautiful billiards room, cookies in the office, the monthly newsletters, the social gatherings. The list goes on. I have found all the ladies in the office very pleasant and helpful. I have not ever had a problem with parking (although I do live in a unit facing the forest so the street is closest for me). My unit it extremely spacious and cozy and just feels like home. My husband has stated that these were built fast and cheap, but we have not experienced any negative effects of this. Our electric bill is always very high, averaging over $100 in the cold months. The drafts are pretty bad in our spare room. This would be a downfall. The reason we are moving out is because our good friend has moved away leaving my husband and I to split a pretty hefty rent. We wanted to move into a one bedroom because we love it here so much, but unfortunately the staff couldn't accommodate us like we would have wanted. :-/ Even the one bedroom plus a large electric bill is over budget for just the two of us. I do find myself comparing Weaver Creek to all the other apartments we have been looking at. Hopefully I will be able to find something comparable and at an affordable rate. I'm going to miss my home here. It makes me sad just thinking about leaving. read more

Weaver Creek Apts have been my home since Aug 2010. I had only seen pictures of the apartment before I rented my home. The apartments are spacious and really dont seem like apartments. I truly feel at home at Weaver Creek. The amenities are wonderful. The office staff is very friendly and caring. I especially enjoy the get-to-gethers we have at the clubhouse. In addition to having a beautiful place to live we enjoy a pool,hot tub,exercise room, tanning bed and the Weaver girls will even wrap presents for you. The apartments are great, however I would look elsewhere. Where do I start? Oh, yes: 1:The apartments are overpriced, 2:the management stinks at doing their job and they do not care about you at all, 3:the maintenance is horrible about getting to anything you need fixed (it's like they hired a 3rd grader and I've met 3rd graders who can fix things better than they can and if the maintenance cannot fix it, they hire the worst service people ever to "try" to fix it. I've had the same problem looked at about 10 times and it still is not fixed) 4: the gym facility is horribly unsafe for use, 5: they barely screen their tenants (some serious fights have gone down in the parking lot while putting cars and people in danger), 6: the dog pots are never changed on a regular cycle and are always full and smell horrendous, the bags are always out so if you do have a dog be sure to get your own bags, 7: the pool is supposed to be heated, well I've never been in it once that it was heated and the hot tub is not hot at all, 8: the clubhouse is chalked full of equipment and furniture that looks like it was used and wore down for the last 20 years before it went into the clubhouse. I'm just waiting my lease out until I move. Overall, the experience here has been one big hassle after another. I would not suggest anyone live here. read more

I've spent a year at this place and I am about to move out. Thank God! Starting last year, the staff was nice enough in order to get our signature on a rental lease. When the pool was open we watched it slowly get worse as the summer rolled by. The nice looking fountain wall did not work for the last month or so before the pool closed. The water was so filthy that it felt like our skin was slimy when we got out of the water. The hot tub was not so hot. At times it seemed the pool was warmer. Our maintenence requests would go ignored if we didn't bother them every day about them. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, so nose above is and next to us was a major issue. There were people always having drunken parties next to the master bedroom window. Good luck finding parking. On any given day, you can expect to walk a good distance from your car to your door. The apartments are the opposite of spacious, unless you are a clown of course. For the prices they ask, you may as well move into a bigger house. They don't accept cash or credit at the office, only check or money order. If you try to pay online, you will be charged a fee. They offer free basic cable and Internet, but the Internet is out more often than not, and the cable just, is cable. read more
