My experience: I've lived at Pebblecreek Apartments for a year now, and I can't begin to express how absolutely pleased I am with living there. The management does a phenomenal job of really making tenants feel like a valued part of the community. From day one with their welcome basket, to promptly dealing with any concerns myself or neighbors have had, you can tell that their focus is first and foremost to ensure their renters are happy. Upkeep: Maintenance and groundskeeping is very efficient, and regular pest control helps keep my place critter free (because I've heard horror stories from friends at other complexes). Management does a very good job of making sure apartments are kept up for the sake of neighbors, and that's definitely appreciated. The Internet: Yep, this is important enough for me to make a separate category for. I'm a gamer and I've legitimately simultaneously played my PS4 online while streaming a movie on my laptop while having friends over who are on their laptops. The wifi speed is AMAZING. Literally one of the biggest reasons I chose to live here. And oh, best thing is it's included in the price of rent. Laundry Room/Other Amenities: As a busy student dashing from work to class and then some, it's so nice to have the 24 hour laundry room on site. And with credit card readers too. So helpful! The pool and tennis court are awesome as well. I've had fun utilizing them alongside the handful of grills around for tenants to use. Noise/Security Issues: Despite being such a large complex, it's very quiet and for the most part peaceful; but thankfully, were issues to arise, security regularly rolls through to check in on things. This complex really is such a great fit for me. I love its location, how safe I feel, how much I get for the money, and the fact that I can enjoy myself outside when the weather is nice. I really feel so welcome here and can't recommend this complex enough. Wooten does such a good job with making sure Pebblecreek is well maintained. They have a horrible brown recluse problem, and seem to not care, or take it seriously. They have done very little to help in my opinion, despite the fact that I have lost count of the number of times I have been to the office to complain, just to be told I'm on "the list", indicating that its a problem in numerous apartments across the property. It's only fair to warn potential residents of problems like this. I realize this is Missouri, and that they are somewhat common, but if you had to live with 80-90 poisonous spiders that can potentially create a crater requiring skin grafts in whatever part of your body that gets bitten you'd expect that to be taken care of fairly quickly as one of your rights as a renter. (80-90 that I have caught over the summer... there is no telling how many more are actually coming out at night and crawling around unnoticed). ASK ME FOR PICTURES!!! I've lived nearly three years at Pebblecreek, and frankly it has been lovely! It is conveniently located just off S. Battlefield and right down the road from some main streets like K. Expressway and S. Campbell. With all the add-ons that come with it, the lease is relatively inexpensive; you get free internet, water and trash, as well as a laundromat and swimming pool on-site. There's a two pet policy, be it dog or cat, which in my opinion is probably the best part. They let you know in advance any time they're stopping by for a filter change or pest control, and they offer once-a-year carpet cleaning. Their maintenance teams are always timely and efficient if anything needs to be fixed. Despite being near a busy road, there is surprisingly not a lot of sounds or disturbances you have to worry about. I would highly recommend leasing with Pebblecreek Apartments if you're looking for a new place to live in the 417 area. read more

I only got a 6 month lease here because of school and it is honestly the most disgusting apartment I have ever been in. It reeks of must and has made every piece of furniture I own smell and unusable. I have made multiple service requests about the issue and put it on my move in form but both the people I talked to never did anything about it. The cabinets are all rotted, the fridge sweats from the outside. It's honestly a hell hole and the staff is even worse. I don't think thy paid any attentions to what I was saying because I'm young and it definitely seems that they care more about the residents that have been there longer because they have always shoved everything I said off. I paid $500 a month for this place and t was the biggest mistake I've ever made. My clothes are ruined, my furniture smells, and I'm out over $3500 for everything. I've now been at Pebblecreek 8 years and am amazed at the consistency of the excellent management of the property. I've lived in numerous Apt complexes in my 29 years in Springfield. 15 years ago I looked at moving into Pebblecreek (managed by the Wooten Co) and was told there was a 6-8 month waiting list. I was shocked. I'd never heard of a complex so desirable that it had a lengthy waiting list. While I had to choose elsewhere I kept Pebblecreek on my "Checklist" radar and moved in 7 years ago. I've never regretted the decision. Prompt maintenance, on line rent payment, etc. But, what sets Pcreek apart is their effort to create a true "Community"-Saturday morning continental breakfasts, Last Friday dinner meals, 2nd Wednesday luncheon meals, etc. All at no cost to the tenant. I moved in to pebble creek apartments around a year ago. While I can't speak for any other apartments; ours was a dream. The apartment, while old, was clean and well kept. Any time we had any maintenance issues (and given the older apartment there were a few) the staff has been quick to get with us, usually on the same day. At one point maintenance showed up before we even knew we had a problem, and fixed it before it inconvenienced us. As for the community it consists of quieter college pairs, and the retired. I've never so much as heard our next door neighbors. The only qualm I have with the apartments is, while the internet is often excellent, of late it has been spotty at best, often kicking us off for half hour at a time. Overall I would say this is the best bang for your buck in this part of springfield, nice apartments for low overhead. read more

I have honestly enjoyed living here for the past year. It's a quiet complex and the staff are very friendly. On-site maintenance is great though the after-hours maintenance through Wooten has been pretty rude each time I've had to use them. Most places in the area are moving towards charging per room so I really like how this complex has stuck with a more "traditional" way of charging rent. As a college student and avid gamer I think the internet is great. The only time I've had any real issues with it was when another apartment building caught on fire (which is perfectly understandable). Parking isn't bad, in my opinion. I also like that's it's relatively close to several grocery stores. The complex at Pebblecreek is always well kept and there's much to be said about the convenient location, high speed (reliable) internet, and quick maintenance. But what really shines is the management that holds it all together and keeps things running smoothly. I've lived in many rentals over the last 20+ years and this is the first time I can honestly say I've experienced such professionalism, coupled with a friendliness that really solidifies that overall sense of community. I've renewed my lease several times now, and the management staff is a big reason why. The only reason to not give a full five stars, is my hope that the nearly completely unused tennis court could be replaced with a gym and a larger community room, like most of the newer complexes in the area. read more

I have lived here for many years, since '09. I love it here. The grounds are well-kept and clean, the maintanence staff go above and beyond what you would expect from them, the management staff are very friendly and will address any concerns you may have. The internet is better than anything you can buy from an ISP here in the area, and it's free and easy to connect (just plug into a wall outlet for extremely high-speed fiber). I have recommended this to friends looking for apartments, and one friend has already moved in and also shares my feelings. I have lived in several Wooten complexes, and I am more than satisfied with Pebble creek. I wanted a place I could walk around at night and feel safe, and I do here. There are always many tenants out walking all times of day and night. The managers of Pebble creek are the best I have had. They always try to work with the tenant and figure out a way to keep them and I appreciate that. I'm not excited about the rent increase since I have been with the Wooten Co for 14 years. We have lived at Pebble Creek apartments, which is managed by the Wooten Company and I can tell you that this place has got to be one of the nicest apartment complexes in Springfield. Hands down the nicest one I have ever lived in. It is very quiet and safe feeling, very friendly for families with kids. There is a pool and tennis courts behind the main office which is very accessible. We had squirrels making noise in the winter, which was dealt with, and a few leaks but everything has been attended to quickly as possible and everyone is very friendly and accommodating. My mom and I have been living here for four plus years now and have had an enjoyable living experience! The apartments are kept in beautiful condition both inside and out to ensure maximum comfort. The management team here are wonderful for the most part and we haven't had any problems dealing with them. I have lived here for 5 years. Pebble Creek Apartments has some nice bonuses that make living here nicer. The coffee and donuts on Saturday morning, the twice monthly pot luck lunches and bingo are all very nice touches. I appreciate the free internet. Maintenance is wonderful. Very friendly and very helpful. They have completed all our work orders except one very quickly. The reason that was not completed quickly was due to it being hired out. Pebble Creek is by far the best place to live in southern Springfield for the price. Add to it that their staff is friendly and helpful and you can't go wrong.
