Furniture Innovation…read more I wanted to buy a sleeper sofa for my home. I reached out to Mr. Edward Ellsworth, owner of Furniture Innovation in Spring Hill, Tennessee. He stated they had several sofas to choose from. I spoke with Mr. Ellsworth and told him I would come into the store on Thursday, May 4, 2023, and make a decision. I stressed to him I needed the sofa by Friday, May 5, 2023. He said it was imperative I come by on May 4, 2023, so he could ensure I could get the sofa. I went to Furniture Innovation on Thursday, May 4, 2023, and spoke with Mrs. Kim Ellsworth, the office manager. I stressed I needed the sofa by Friday, May 5, 2023. Mr. Ellsworth joined our conversation and stated that it takes two to six weeks to get a product in and he could not ensure I would get the sofa by May 5, 2023. I told him per our previous conversations, he never stated that. He further stated that there could be potential problems and he could not guarantee I would get the sofa when I needed it. THAT should have been a RED FLAG because he literally did a 360-degree TURN versus our prior conversations. When individuals do this, TAKE NOTICE and DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! Horrific Customer Service Sleeper sofa in my stairwell since Thursday, May 4, 2023, Edward Ellsworth, the owner of Innovation in Spring Hill, Tennessee told me he would have his storage manager come Thursday evening to move the sofa. He stated his storage manager had over seventeen years of experience in moving furniture and could quickly resolve the problem. No one came Thursday evening, May 4, 2023, to move the sleeper sofa out of the stairwell. Broken Promises I called Furniture Innovation and was told by Mr. Ellsworth someone would be at my home first thing Friday, May 5, 2023, to move the sleeper sofa NO ONE CAME! I waited ALL DAY and then called the store only to be told by the owner, Edward Ellsworth, he had gone over and beyond assisting me in my purchase of the sleeper sofa. He stated the warehouse manager would be there shortly to move the sleeper sofa. He assured me he was experienced in moving furniture and the problem would be resolved shortly. At 6:00 p.m. I called the store and spoke with Mr. Ellsworth. He stated his people had been detained because they had delivered furniture to a bed and breakfast establishment and it had taken longer than they anticipated. My response, is how? By having me stay at home all day to get a sleeper sofa out of my stairwell and not calling me to tell me that no one would be coming that day! Mr. Ellsworth blamed me because the sleeper sofa was a challenge in getting into my basement. I asked him to pick the sofa up and he stated that all sales are final and there would be no refund. Mr. Ellsworth stated on Friday evening, May 5, 2023 someone would be at my home first thing Monday, May 8, 2023, to move the sleeper sofa. I received a call from Edward Ellsworth, Furniture Innovation, the warehouse manager would be there first thing, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, to move the sleeper sofa. He didn't know on Friday, May 5, 2023, the warehouse manager was off on Monday, May 8, 2023. REALLY??? Edward sent two guys to move the sofa from the stairwell on Monday, May 8, 2023. I called Furniture Innovation on Tuesday morning, May 9, 2023. I spoke with Edward. He told me he didn't know when the delivery people would be coming to my home. He stated there were other customers ahead of me and that he wasn't sure they would be coming today. He asked me to take pictures of where the sofa was going. I then said goodbye. I am LIVID!!! Rude Edward Ellsworth, Furniture Innovation owner is very rude and belligerent. Once he gets your money, he doesn't care how he responds or treats the customer. He operates under the premise the business is ALWAYS RIGHT instead of providing Good Customer Service. I will NEVER DO BUSINESS with this establishment again.
