Food was fresh, healthy, and filling. Absolutely loved the burrito and nachos. My wife also loved her smoothie bowl. Was a nice break from fried southern food. Workers were super nice and loved the cozy atmosphere.

I love Huriyali, but this location is like being in a college lunch room. Crowded and loud. They didn't have all the syrups available, probably because they are just so busy. This location has a little courtyard which is sweet but multiple groups of people had to get up and leave because the mosquitoes were so bad. The churro latte is my favorite, but the maple syrup was good too. It's not that strong of coffee. They have a location on James Island I would absolutely recommend.

My vegan breakfast burrito, add jalapeños and nacho cheese, and the vegan blondie were all amazing! The burrito was one of the best I'd had! I also loved the customer service and the beautiful atmosphere.

I feel like this place is good for instagram and that's it. I should have turned away when we saw the three massive bags of Costco brand tortilla chips they were using. I'm biased on my tortilla chips, but I could it pretty meh that they were using that. We got the bahn mi and it was okay? The picked vegetables could use more time in vinegar and the tofu was mid at best. The bread was fresh from whatever bakery they source it from, but I didn't really love it. The all day burrito was a let down. It was messy and didn't really had flavor despite the guac and black bean mess. The added tempeh added no texture or flavor. Then add on the subpar chips that was a huge letdown for the price. Glad we got coffee elsewhere You walk in and order at the counter and they walk the food over to you. Did seem to take a while, but the line did not stop for the entire time that we were there. It seemed filled with locals and tourists so I wanted higher hopes for it. Good casual spot to do work or hang with friends. It was really nice decor inside and out and I liked that they had a patio. They let you linger too and that was nice.

Sweet shop with very friendly service. Healthy whole food. Had the chai which was fantastic and the all day burrito with turkey bacon... scrumptious and huge! Will be back to try the beautiful bowls.

Honestly one of my favorite lunch spots in Charleston. I always leave feeling refreshed and full. The banh mi with tofu is my all time fave- it's so fresh and perfectly balanced. The vinaigrette on it is to die for and I love getting my fill of veggies and soaking up everything with the delicious bread. I also always grab a green juice or an AM cleanse. My second favorites are definitely the turkey panini and the BLT. You honestly can't go wrong with anything here. I enjoy sitting at the outdoor patio surrounded by the greenery- it's the perfect hidden oasis in downtown. The service is also always so quick and efficient and everyone that works here is so kind with the perfect energy to match this place.

When I die, bury me at Huriyali. This place has it all in terms of a healthy brunch. Avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, and pastry galore. They also offer several drink options: local kombucha, beer, water, and wine. My favorite drink option they offer is their lattes with the homemade syrup which is the chefs kiss. This place also offers other local goodies: olive oil, soap, body care items, and T-shirts. For dining you have two options: indoor with bar seating or seating at the long community table or sitting outside. The outside is very cute with tons of greenery but beware of the mosquitos (this is Charleston after all). All food is ordered at the counter and brought to you.

Huriyali is one of those places that just feels good to walk into. It's the kind of space where you feel seen and welcome every time. The food is fresh, delicious and healthy. My favorites are the mermaid bowl, the Baja bowl with tofu, avocado toast w eggs and always an iced matcha!

Super cute spot for acai bowls! I love the outdoor patio area! I ordered the mermaid bowl which was great! I liked how thick it was. Ingredients were fresh, and the color from the blue spirulina is gorgeous. No complaints here. Vibes were immaculate.

There is parking across the street in the small gravel lot. I tried to order the smoothie bowl but they were out of granola. I've been here a few times and it seems like they frequently run out of items. This time I ordered the nachos and they were great. They're gluten free and made with dairy free cashew cheese. I sat outside on the super cute patio and they brought our food out to us!

Loved this place! Every week, my friends and I try a different coffee place in Charleston. I think this may be our favorite one so far! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and kind. When my food came out and my friends were still waiting, the girls working made sure to ask their names and brought their food out very quickly. There was a line almost out the door, which is of course, always a good sign. The line moved quickly though, which was nice. They have inside seating, as well as seating in a cute garden area in the back and some in the front too. I got the salted caramel latte and the turkey sandwich. Personally, I eat meat, however I love that they had vegetarian and vegan options for everything.

This was such a perfect place for a sunny day breakfast! The staff was insanely helpful and friendly. I loved the vibe inside, relaxed, clean, little market. We ordered in the larger building but they told us it's all the same they have just expanded. I ate some healthy pancakes with fruit and cream and a dirty chai. It was all so yummy. Would definitely recommend. I could tell it was healthy but in a positive way. I sat outside in the courtyard area and it was so cute and picture worthy. What a delight! My friend suggested this little restaurant for breakfast. It was more than I expected. The interior is very casual, open and airy. The food is fresh. I had the Strawberry Cloud Smoothie, the Avocado Toast with a scrambled egg on top and a Vanilla Cappuccino. Every single item was delicious. The servings were more than ample. I had to leave 1/2 my Avocado Toast as I was leaving that day. If you are a person who appreciates fresh food, don't deny yourself a visit here. read more

Tried the Buddha bowl and cold brew coffee today! The bowl was very flavorful and filling. I loved the outdoor seating area. I think it could have used a few fans though. There were quite a few flies hovering around while we were sitting outside. It probably won't be too much of a problem once the weather cools down. read more

I loved this spot, which was recommended by a friend. The vibe and decor is adorable, especially outside on the back porch. They have healthy, fresh options for brunch or lunch. I had the organic turkey panini, which comes out toasted and bursting with flavor. It was a unique combo of flavors, with beet, avocado, and cheddar. Very delicious! I'd love to come back and try a smoothie. read more

I wish I could break Yelp and give them more stars for how good this place is! AMAZING vegan food! The buddha bowl with curry cauliflower was so good I nearly ordered two. My husband actually did order two, with an egg instead of the cauliflower. The chickpea blondie was Phenomenal! Iced and hot lattes were also perfection. Counter Culture coffee is so good. Aside from the delicious food, street parking right out front and really nice calm vibe inside. Also garden seating if it's not too hot outside. Overall, MUST GO here for high quality and oh so yummy food for brekkie, lunch, and dinner. FYI: they close at 6pm, so get dinner early or to go. Only constructive criticism is to please find an alternative to plastic wrap for the bakery items. We all appreciate the moves you made to strive for zero waste, but I felt a pang of guilt after buying the blondie. read more

This is a hidden gem and so worth a visit! I cant get enough of the green bowl and purple rain smoothie. Delish! Delightful and all things wonderful. I love the back patio and so does my 22 month old son. Love this place so much!! read more

The space itself is very nice - trendy casual. All of the staff were efficient and friendly. They also have a charming outside space. The smoothy I had (Dragon Berry) was excellent, although I was not so keen on wife's smoothie (Immunity). It was a little to forward on the tumeric and carrot for my taste. For me, the food was just OK. I had a Mexi bowl with ground turkey that had no seasoning, which may have been on purpose since the focus is on healthy eating, but it was just bland. I thought it tasted a lot better after adding salt and hot sauce, but nothing excited me. My wife had the E.A.T. sandwich that she wasn't thrilled with - and although I loved the bread, I agreed with her that the other ingredients were pretty bland. So this was on OK experience, and we have only tasted a limited sampling of their food, but in my experience healthy can be tastier. read more

I've had many açaí bowls... in "hip" areas of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and NYC. But WOW! The team at Huriyali definitely takes the cake here.. Very low sugar, natural tasting, and made from local fruits. Go for the dragon fruit + peach açaí bowl! read more

Was referred by friend a few years ago after skating at the bridge spot and have been addicted ever since! Super cool nook hidden away on the west side off huger st. I now live in the neighborhood behind it and am lucky enough to be able to walk to this awesome spot! They have a refreshing outdoor seating area that is amazing during fair weather and a cozy indoor seating area with lots of reclaimed wood. They also have a small market with an organic selection of wine, beverages and house made juices. Sometimes I just run in to grab a juice and banana or go all in and get a delicious açaí bowl! They have coffee from a great organic company out of NC and they do their best to be as eco friendly as possible! I also love their smoothies and sandwiches. Give this place a try if you're looking for real, refreshing food! read more

This was my first time visiting after seeing so many posts on Instagram featuring their acai bowls. I got their signature bowl and added granola and honey,which I highly recommend doing. The toppings were so tasty and I didn't mind waiting a few minutes for a super refreshing bowl! The price is steep, over $10 for a bowl so it's definitely a treat spot. However, that's how much a sandwich costs these days so if you're subbing it out for a meal I don't think it's too much to ask for such a fresh change of pace. The staff was really friendly but parking is terrible. read more

This is a tricky one to find. Very very tricky. Why you ask. First, it isn't on a main road in Charleston. Second, it is on the North side of Charleston which has the bear minimum of passer by traffic. Third, it is the size of a large home kitchen. Fourth, actually, I don't have a fourth. I will say this, Huriyali caters to runners, walkers, fitness fanatics, healthy folk and people that just need an energy boost. Using fresh local ingredients to make their drinks, the staff offers up great selections. Don't be in a hurry, because they put time and love into preparation. The staff is fun. They will always have that winning smile and make you feel at home. read more

If you are looking for hipster Charleston, look no further. The day after a huge barbeque meal, we were looking for a cleanse. We got the tropical kale smoothie and the acai bowl (their prices now have increased a tad from the ones listed on the menu on their website). The acai bowl was good, but the acai base had banana blended into it, which could not be taken out. They said I might not be able to taste it, but I probably should have known that my buds would be sensitive enough to figure it out. (Our other friend got the Dragonfruit smoothie, which was a new addition to the menu. Dragronfruit doesn't have that much flavor, so it sort of just tasted like banana. But the brilliant pink color is something to be admired.) For those who need a little more substance, they also have several variations of sandwiches and paninis available. Overall, it was a bit expensive, but for those who are into juices and healthy things, I would recommend it! They had a nice outdoor seating area as well. read more

This place is a great break away from the norm. The neighborhood around it is rundown, but you enter an oasis. Upbeat, earthy feel; clean. If you imagine hard enough, you just might be able to convince yourself that you're in Hawaii. Healthy menu options (we enjoyed our acai bowls!), nice indoor seating, and a lovely garden courtyard out back with plenty of greenery and seating as well! Small off-menu natural food items for purchase as well. Also, there is an order window on the right side, if you'd prefer that over ordering inside. read more

Huriyali simply does not disappoint. I don't normally leave yelp reviews but the Bahn mi is a must-try, in my opinion. Overall, the quality of food and baked goods is something truly special. Specialty coffees with a great variety of plant based milks and syrups brings out the coffee lover in all. Also, be sure to grab a blondie or two on your way out. 13/10 read more

Great atmosphere. Long wait. Skip the main food and stick to smoothies. The avocado toast was just awful. But I love to walk to this after yoga and grab an açaí bowl and they are AMAZING. But parking is tough and even a latte or something a really long time no matter if it's dead. read more

Such a cute little cafe with great food and service! Everything is organic which is great. It's nice to know that my food has healthy ingredients that will not harm me. My body is a temple. The acai is delicious but I recommend the pitaya bowls. It's not very common to see pitaya on the menu! The service was excellent! The employees are all so kind and engaging! So perfect. This place has the most beautiful insides and outside garden. Reasonably priced and quality food! Dragon bowl was freaking delicious. The nachos with lentils were so good too! Seems like a nice professional location when you first walk in. Then the experience goes into a whole another level when you walk towards the back into the beautiful garden and eat the food. We ordered the following: * E.A.T. sandwich * Acai bowl * Vegetable Panini * Raw bars * Juices from their fridge (2 green dreams and 1 coconut water) E.A.T. sandwich: When I ordered I was hoping they would give me more than a small spread of avocado (which is what other restaurants do), but they actually had huge chunks of avacado. The sandwich has Avacado, Egg and Toast. What else could you possibly want. It was perfect. Acai bowl: My wife ordered this and unfortunately for her both my kids and me, kept eating large spoonfuls from her bowl. Who knew something as healthy as a bowl of acai (an antioxidant-rich palm fruit from the Amazon) with other fresh ingredients would be so absolutely delicious. This also appeared to be the popular choice for some of the people sitting around us. Vegetable panini: My wife loved this as well. The green chili chutney in there adds a delicious indian flavor to a sandwich crafted out of fresh healthy ingredients. Raw bars: My kids loved them. They unfortunately did not leave any for me to try. Juices: their juices are the main reason we went there. The 'green dreams' is my favorite. But on this trip I discovered the 'coconut juice'. You have not lived until you have had these two juices. Next time (there will definitely be a next time). I am planning to try their turkey sandwich, which comes with spicy hummus. It is hard to pick a winner from their menu because everything we ordered was delicious and the setting was relaxing and peaceful, even with one hyperactive toddler. Overall: Must try for both the Charleston tourist and the Charleston native. read more

I think the food here is excellent, but the service leaves much to be desired. Sometimes I call 2-3 times in a row and no one answers the phone for pick up orders, so I give up. About half the time I go there the order takers especially upstairs have an " I'm too cool to talk to you" attitude. FYI your not too cool- take my money smile and give me my $15 dollar fruit bowl. One time when I walked up I was told to hold on please so some worker could finish telling the other worker how her night was. Socialize with colleagues when your customers aren't waiting for you to finish. The other half of the time the people are great. I guess it bothers me because I worked in restaurants and if it was my business It's an easy way to go from annoying to awesome. read more

Love everything about this place. The bowls and smoothies are amazing. The courtyard is like a little paradise. We stayed a few blocks away and after trying another spot for breakfast one morning decided this was so good we came 3 times. Kids loved the dragon and mermaid bowls and the smoothies.
