All the good reviews of The Daily have all been true! This is a cute little spot located next to a small parking lot with a simple but packed menu. What I mean by that is the menu items aren't anything crazy, but the flavors and presentation are. I ordered the avocado toast and added bacon and my friend ordered the feta toast. They were so good and filling! The matcha was a bit bland on its own so I ordered a side of natural honey and that did the trick. The lavender drink is one of the best. Delicious spot with a parking lot!! There are many great breakfast and lunch spots in the city and this should be at the top of your list. Fresh, delicious, flavor packed breakfast and lunch items with excellent cold brew and iced lattes! We did the 3 egg burrito and the breakfast burrito and they were both bombs of flavor in each bite. The cold brew is delicious and a great pick me up and the classic iced latte with their homemade vanilla bean syrup made me happy with each sip. It can get busy in there but they have a decent amount of seating and by the time you order spots will likely open up to sit or you can take it to go. I also love the parking lot because that's hard to come by in the city. We will definitely come back to this spot next time we are in town! read more

You must try The Daily! It is a laidback and casual "order at the counter" spot, with a friendly staff, serving bites deserving of five stars. I've been a few times now, sampled some of the menu items, and never been disappointed. Most recently, I tried the breakfast burrito and paired it with an iced vanilla latte and WOW! First of all, one of the best tortillas I've ever tasted and every bite was packed with more flavor than I could've predicted. Perfect scrambled eggs paired with potatoes, salsa verde, and pickled onions all so fresh and delicious. Also this is a sturdy breakfast burrito it didn't fall apart at all 10/10. I also could not recommend anything more highly than the whipped feta toast! Not something I would typically gravitate toward, but it's something you can't miss... pretty much the perfect brunch plate. If you're in the area (or even if you're not!) be sure to stop in, it can get a little crowded around peak weekend hours, but it's never too hard to grab a table! I had a delicious breakfast sandwich and coffee here on the way out of town. I stopped in on Monday around 11am. It was pretty busy but I luckily got a spot at the counter after ordering. I Ordered the bacon egg cheese sandwich and the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake latte. The drink came out first followed shortly after by the food. The latte was basically liquid pumpkin cheesecake, and had a generous serving of whipped cream which is my weakness! The sandwich came with some grilled onions and a delicious chunky cheese spread. I do wish the sesame bun had been toasted just a bit more. But all in all, I enjoyed the sips and the sandwich. It's a small but cozy space with communal seating and a counter against the front entrance. A little pricy - $8 for the coffee (small) and $9 for the sandwich, but I don't mind splurging on a treat every now and then. The place was pretty radiant with indoor and outdoor seating but this particular day was cold so most people opted to sit inside. The similarity is apparent though, as this place offers cafe fare with a Middle Eastern sensibility and ample, clearly labeled options for the common special dietary needs. It is a small place inside so I found seating outdoors despite it being a bit chilly. An elusively flavored chai warmed me up, but I was really there because I wanted a salad for breakfast, and this delivered. The shredded collard greens are not a common salad base, but the flavor combination totally worked with cherries and parmesan, and I was quite pleased with my choice, despite having pondered other options for a bit. I hope that Butcher and Bee comes back (I never made it to the Nashville one, which I think still exists), but regardless, the culinary sensibilities of the people behind this brand are laudable for those of us who want an excuse to eat more salads for breakfast. read more

With the robust freshly ground coffee and the great selection of baked goods and crispy baked in - house breads how can you not have an urge to try a breakfast Sammie or an order of avocado toast? The service is swift and efficient . The staff will take your order at the register and you are promptly handed a number for your table if you choose to dine in. The ambience has a ware-housy feel and large enough so there are plenty of tables both inside and out so you will easily be able to find a cozy nook or a community table and seating for larger groups. The outdoor patio remains on Morrison Drive which is another pleasant addition for dining. Vibrant artwork on the walls are throughout so you don't feel like you are in a giant garage type setting. Plenty of light filters in and what a great idea to have the "open chef's kitchen-- located behind a glass wall-- so feel free to strike a pose and/ or take a snapshot of the kitchen staff busily preparing your food, baked goods and breads. Always a nice treat for me and the second location is a little more uptown... much needed... to the already established King Street location.
