The setup has a wow factor as you enter the basement level of the building through a tunnel covered in plants and leading straight to your first photo opp! The circle with pink bench is a cute preview of what's inside. Once you check in with the hostess, enter through a door and welcome to the social club. Beautiful decor that mixes a level of sophistication with a little drama as you see the bright lights. Plenty of seating and even a private room that can be rented out. The drinks are phenomenal and the staff is friendly! The menu offers a mix of unique cocktails (and can be made as mocktail a too) and small bites. Upon recommendation, I tried the F.W. Marg drink. So good! The most unique aspect is the watermelon ice cube. As it melts the drink flavor changes. Creative & fun way to enjoy a cocktail. They open at 5pm, which would be a great spot for chill happy hour. Later in the evening, you'll experience more of a lounge/club vibe. Great edition to downtown CLE!

I'm so happy we did because Stella made sure we had a stellar time (she put the Stella in Stellar? Sorry, nerd status) and the food provided was super fresh and the staff was so attentive. We had a pretty large group all come in at once and they got us through quickly with our first round of drinks! The ambiance is intimate enough where you can step aside to a table for a nice convo or large enough to create a dancing space where we you're at... which was exactly what some of us did because the music was just too tempting. From a more organized event to a late night par-tay mentality, the subtle and eclectic vibes of Lost put you in the right head space. Highly recommend!

Most were more like gastropubs. We desired something a little more upscale. We decided on Bay Harbor. We had no idea it was IN Cedar Point. I got mildly frustrated but a parking attendant assured us that we would be comped for the parking cost so I settled down some. We had reservations by the outside railing to view the sunset during dinner. The sunset is obscured by trees so that wasn't amazing but the weather was perfect so it wasn't too much of an issue. We're generally indecisive people when it comes to the food. It all sounded appetizing so my wife asked our server about her favorite dishes. Through that conversation and the discussions that followed, we got to know our server a little bit. We shared with her how we met (working together in a restaurant). Her husband also works at Bay Harbor. We shared stories about our spouses that were humorous and we got to know one another a little bit more. Cassie became very personable during these conversations and it really made our night a little more enjoyable! She was the sweetest server! The food was great! The Bang bang shrimp appetizer was delicious. I had a red snapper that was the special for the evening. It was very good. My wife wanted to try the lobster bisque. I understand why it's award winning! My bride of 27 years had the shrimp and scallop linguini. I tasted it. It was pretty tasty. But honestly, the best part of the whole experience was our fantastic service. Thank you, Cassie!!!

I don't recommend people going there because I think it's slow and it was bad serviceread more

Some of the previous reviews were accurate, as the bar service was a bit surly but ultimately it didn't make a big impact on our visit. The atmosphere was lively yet laid back and not crowded on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to score a shuffleboard lane for two for an hour and drink service was quick once we got set up. We absolutely loved playing, especially while enjoying a cocktail. If we had more time and wanted to spend more it would have been easy to waste more hours on the court or playing skeeball, cornhole, or pool. I don't understand why fun places like this aren't available widely, that's how fun it was. Do watch out while you're playing, as it's easy to overshoot your target and slam your biscuits into someone's feet playing next door or sitting at a table. The gear was a well loved but it didn't stop us (as novices) from enjoying the game and doing fairly well at it! This will be a must-stop every time we're in the Port Clinton/Marblehead area! Highly recommended!

Dance, dance, dancing!!…read more If you want to move your body then Twist Social Club is the place to be. I first visited in October 2023 with some friends after leaving the MIX event at the CMA (museum). Twist had a 2000's music theme that night. My friends and I had a fantastic time dancing the night away. Fast forward to a year later to Saturday, 31 August 2024 and I'm back at Twist again for their white party for the labour day holiday. The 2024 labour day holiday white party was fun. I arrived at 10pm with a friend and we met 3 other friends there. We danced to a live DJ who spun tunes all night; however, I will say that some of the music choices were not the best because they were not ideal for dancing. At around 11:30pm is when the dance floor begun to be crowded. So as midnight approached, it became a bit uncomfortable to remain on the small(ish) dance floor so I moved towards the back by the bar. Although I don't drink alcohol, moving away from the dance floor towards the front door entrance by the bar was a good choice for me because I didn't feel as claustrophobic as I did when I was on the cramped dance floor. While I have been here twice, I don't know if I'll return because of how packed it gets and some dance floor behaviours by others was a bit much for me to witness. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 95/150 total reviews in 2024 - 744 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 29 September 2024

There are plenty of windows encircling the dining area letting in tons of light and offering a view of the water and boats docked. The place was clean and has the same vibe as you would expect in a golf resort, hotel, or any other member-club. Service was friendly. Food: The clam chowder was by far the best thing here. It was savory, well-balanced and had the MOST TENDER pieces of clam i've ever had. They were an absolute joy to nom and didn't fatigue my jaw at all unlike some places. Heads up, their chowder has more of soup-y consistency because they don't thicken it with starch. This makes for a much lighter chowder which doesn't put you into a coma. My first experience with perch was sadly disappointing. The sandwich was large, having 3-4 pieces of fried perch in it. The problem with multiple thin pieces of breaded fish, however, is that you're primarily tasting grease and breading! The fries were also lackluster, not soggy but not cripsy or particularly well-seasoned. I did enjoy the rainbow sherbet at the end but it wasn't anything I couldn't get in a value-tub from krogers. Overall I gave this place 4-stars to include the ambiance, service, and exclusivity but the food is honestly 3-stars (decent). I would definitely get the chowder and explore other things besides the breaded perch.
