He was rude, physically intimidating, and verbally abusive. Even though he refused to give me the number of the Dallas corporate office, I managed to obtain it from another store. I spoke with 2 representatives in the Customer Service department with no satisfaction. 6 weeks passed when I called the Dallas office the second time. I was surprised when the representative informed me that the problem I had with the store was my intolerance of the manager's "lifestyle". Even though she did not define the terms of his "lifestyle" it was never my business nor did I care. The manager of this store refused to refund the proper amount I was due after another employee overcharged me a significant amount. In addition, said employee also grabbed my daughter's arm when my daughter was trying to explain the overcharge. This occurred moments before the manager ripped from my hands my original receipt. My advice to anyone shopping the Tallahassee Tuesday Morning- watch out. This unstable individual snapped with me and may snap with you. He is large, he is mean, and seems to possess a strong dislike of women. Particular those who frequent his store. The upside is I have probably saved thousands by not shopping at this store since. TJ Maxx, Dillards, and Macy's look better all the time. Tuesday Morning, obviously, is not Nordstrom, Barney's, Sak's, or Bergdorf Goodman. Personal service is not required nor is a dust-free store. You fill out an online form with some basic info about your move, then they call you to confirm, ask you for any needed clarification and provide you pricing and an ETA on when your movers will arrive, how many there will be, etc. 2. They are punctual. If they say they'll be there by 9AM, chances are they'll be there by 8:45. Also, they call you when they're en route just to make sure you're ready for them. 3. They work hard and fast and do what it takes to get the job done including taking doors off hinges, unscrewing the feet from an oversized couch, etc. 4. Sometimes they'll throw in an extra worker for free which speeds things up and simplifies moving heavier items. The less good: 1. Price. Every time I've used them, my needs have been the same but the price is always higher than the time before. The price for my move this year was a little under $300 for two guys, one truck and less than an hour of work.

This was my first visit to Midtown Reader to attend a discussion from Terah Shelton Harris for her…read morenewest book release. The store offered copies of the book for sale and Terah was gracious in signing and doing pics. The store also had a coffee shop upstairs which is a nice amenity. Terah was Target's 2025 author of the year, so it was a real treat that Midtown Reader was able to book her for an in person appearance. They have similar events with other authors and also feature different book clubs you can join with books they offer. This is definitely a great place to visit in town.

Went to will call and were told to go back to the teller. Whatever. We got our tickets and sat down. Theatre is quaint, even cozy. Pretty intimate and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. I believe there's a bar outside as the actual pamphlet for the play contained an alcohol menu, but seeing as we didn't partake, I wouldn't be able to give you all the details. Felt the play dragged a bit honestly. Nevertheless it was enjoyable, and well, at least the seats were comfortable. Not to mention that I went with one of my favorite people.
