The owner is very sweet and easy to converse with. I loved hearing her story and how passionate she is about her products and what she sells. A must visit while in Newberg.

This little shop is absolutely adorable and full of charm. Most of their products are locally sourced, and you can feel the care that goes into the selection. The cheese and condiment options were phenomenal, truly one of the best curated selections I've seen in the area. They also have a cute wine bar tucked in the back, which adds to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The sandwiches and deli items in the case looked so good that I'm already planning to come back for lunch next time I'm in town. Everything looked fresh, high quality, and thoughtfully put together. The staff was friendly, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products. We loved them! For lunch we ordered pimento dip with crackers a SALUMI SANDWICH $14 fennel salami, Fra'Mani mortadella and capicollo. provolone, Mama Lil's peppers, & basil pesto on sourdough bread and a BRIE, HAM, 8 JAM SANDWICH $14 with double crème Brie, Oregon apricot jam, and Fra'Mani sweet apple ham on sour dough bread. We are glad it was the Newbergundian Bistro. We had to start with a Croissant. It was very flavorful, but it was bit soft, not the perfect crunch that we love. The fresh squeezed grapefruit juice made an excellent greyhound. The Bistro had my favorite...Escargot as a special. WOW. So good. We then shared the Potato Croquettes. The accompanying fondue was so good to dip the Croquettes into. We finished with a Ham and Brie Sandwich that was excellent, accompanied by crisp and hot french fries. My wife had the Grilled Five Cheese Sandwich with Mixed Greens. She loved it. Traci was terrific and helped us throughout the meal.

I settled on a Lasagne slice, a Prosciutto Panini and an additional one to go with my lunch box. Their side wall was adorned with pickled and jarred items as well as pastas the like. On the far wall had their beverages and my lunch box came with my choice of drink. I settled on some Italian orange soda. Not sure what it tastes like but I will tomorrow for my lunch. They also have panini press machines. The nice guy offered to toast my panini. I only have a microwave at work so using that will just turn my panini into a solid rock. Microwaves and bread don't do well with each other. Overall a neat experience indeed. I think on my next visit I'll bring my wife with me so that she can try other things.
