Very disappointing catering experience. I prepaid $741.60 nearly a month in advance for my mother's 60th birthday, with delivery and full setup scheduled to be ready by 4:00 PM. Despite providing a detailed schedule in advance, they did not arrive until approximately 4:30 PM and still needed time to set up. After repeatedly calling both owner numbers with no response, I had a friend drive to their Newberg food cart to find out what was happening. When Victor and Elsa eventually arrived, Victor explained that too many events had been scheduled that day and also told my father their child was sick. I completely understand that unexpected family circumstances happen. What I don't understand is why no one communicated with me. A simple phone call or text would have made a huge difference. The warming equipment was forgotten, requiring another call and another trip back. The food was served warm rather than hot, and several items included in what we paid for were missing, including the ceramic serving dishes, radishes, and fried jalapeños. I then went back and forth with Elsa by email regarding the issues. Unfortunately, I found the communication and tone extremely unprofessional and disappointing, especially after choosing to support a local small business. The owners acknowledged several of the service issues and offered a 20% refund, which I ultimately accepted to put the matter behind me. For an important family celebration that was prepaid in full, I expected much better communication, preparation, accountability, and professionalism. Take my money!!!! You had me at the bacon wrapped burrito. Service is top notch. Food.... Well I really wanted one of everything. It ALL sounds so good!!!! They are not skimpy on portions, that's for sure. Nacho fries are great for sharing, the street tacos are delicioso. Taco loco is a must try. And I've already decided, I'm going back for the torta! They have covered seating with heat lamps so it's comfortable to wait for your food or eat there. Food is cooked to order so it takes a bit but it's well worth it! Tried El Oso Loco for the first time today. I tried the street tacos with Al Pastor and Asada - Both were delicious and full of flavor. They were filling and not overly greasy. Easy 5 stars here. I had the best burrito I've ever had here. We got some food to go, and I tried a chicken taco, the loco taco, and a carnitas burrito. My lady got a couple of fish tacos and we tried a bit of all of it. The loco taco was amazing! Two tortillas with melty cheese and meat in between, you can't go wrong! The taco was above average but nothing to write home about. But the burrito was amazing! The carnitas were bursting with citrus flavor and the guacamole was so good. To top it off it was so reasonable. A lot of places you only get the meat, rice and beans, but here you get all of it. Cheese, meat, rice, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. Well worth the money. We got all that food for $30! This is my new go to spot for Mexican comfort food! read more

When I tell you these are THE best tacos in the PNW, you gotta know these are THE Best in the (Pacific North)west. I have an illustrious history eating tacos, from the streets of LA, to the beaches of Mexico. I know a good taco, and these tacos aren't good- they're great! I have had a hard time finding good Mexican food up here, which is a shame because it's my favorite. Tacos El Oso Loco gives me my fix. That's why I drive 45 minutes from Beaverton to get these tacos. I have begun picking up large orders to distribute to friends and family, and they keep asking me when I'm going to go back! Every item is perfectly seasoned, each component the perfect texture. I could write poems about these tacos. In addition, the staff is wonderful! They are warm and welcoming. Victor, the owner, is so personable and takes great pride in the quality of his business. If you haven't yet tried their food, do yourself a favor and fix that ASAP. This is heaven on a corn tortilla. Your taste buds will be electrified by perfectly balanced flavor when their food hits your tongue. These are the tacos you're looking for. Street tocos are awesome! These guys go out of their way in presentation and they dish good size portions. Everything is fresh and the steak is not cooked 3 times or fried to a crisp.
