I wanted to add my 5-star+ review for Thompson's. Our fridge broke down on a Sat. We lost SO much food during the night! We called another company with "six locations and a coupon" who said they could fix it "Tuesday". On Monday, they called and pushed that back to Thursday. Their voice mail said if we didn't call them to confirm this, they wouldn't come out, even then. That's when I found Thompson's. I called at 10am. Got a call back within 15 mins tops. The tech was here less than four hours later. He knew the problem right away. Had the exact part and we were off and running less than one hour later. He really knew his stuff. Thanks Dave! As an FYI, be sure to call their number on their Yelp page and not the service number on their website. I know that whenever they can, they will take care of your appliance repair the same, business day. We are SO happy with Thompson's and would recommend them to anyone. All our appliances are getting "up in years", so I have a feeling we'll be calling them again soon. Their prices are fair and quoted up front. There are no "hidden fees". They came out and charged $120 for a service call, and said he took Cash App, Venmo or cash, and then told her she needed a part that cost $286.79 and said he would return. He did NOT return and she had to call them repeatedly and finally got ahold of what I assume was the "boss" he said he needed the money for the part before he would come out, she sent the money. A week goes by and she hears nothing, almost another week goes by and she calls them back again, and asks when they were coming back because her refrigerator was not being able to be used. She finally asked to just be refunded for the part because nothing was fixed and he ghosted her. So she was ripped off almost $300.00 and nothing was done. She had to call another repair service and pay for the part again. I wouldn't recommend these scam artist to my worst enemy. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

I actually went to two other places first: both of them were supposed to be open on this nightmarishly cold day (-3 F high!!) and neither was. So, I drove quite a distance to get here. The last time I had my snowblower repaired (last year... I know, I don't learn) been around for a long time it was after a horrible snowstorm, and it took a different place three weeks. This place was done in one week. That doesn't sound fast, but considering the circumstances, it was very fast. And, the price was very reasonable. When I asked what all the services were, the salesman was very happy to explain them to me and answer any questions. This place is a long drive for me, but I would say it's worth a return trip if I ever need anything like this again.

I take a video of it to show them, but then got busy with family and holidays and I figured the video is about as good as proof as it gets that it didn't even make it 1 day, let alone 90 days. I'm not surprised they don't honor work past 90 days since nobody else does either, but next time I'll find a place that fixes it the first time and start it up before I leave the shop to avoid this complete waste of time and money!
