At my last cleaning, I was repeatedly pushed toward a deep cleaning I didn't want or need. It took three firm "no" responses before the receptionist finally dropped it. I went into my most recent appointment already hesitant, and to no surprise, the same thing happened again. This time, I confronted them about it and ultimately walked out without receiving the cleaning I scheduled. Their entire process seems to have been reversed. What used to be: X-rays cleaning recommendations has become: X-rays gum measurements a sales pitch for $3,000+ worth of treatment pressure to commit before receiving the service you came in for. After I told the receptionist I simply wanted the cleaning I had scheduled, the hygienist came in and immediately asked, "What's your hesitation?" That felt less like patient care and more like a sales tactic. When I voluntarily schedule and pay for a dental appointment, I expect to receive the service I came for - not a high-pressure sales pitch. I will not be returning, and I will not be recommending Bella Vita. What was once a practice with great service and kind people now feels more like a dental dealership focused on upselling before patient care. It's a shame. You had something good, and you squandered it.

As soon as I arrived, they told me I suddenly had multiple cavities and needed a crown. For context, I've always been strict with my dental hygiene--regular appointments, flossing daily, no pain, and my previous dentist rarely found anything wrong. Because I take my dental health seriously, I told them to proceed with whatever treatment they believed was necessary, but only if they confirmed everything with my insurance first. They assured me it was all covered, so I went ahead with the fillings and crown. After the work was done, I was suddenly told that my insurance didn't cover everything, and I was left with a $1,000 bill. They offered a $150 discount, which felt dismissive. It's clear they don't prioritize patients and will find ways to overcharge. UPDATE: I have recently been in contact with their practice manager, Bree. She is currently assisting me with my account and the amount owed that was sent to collections. She let me know that she could see the discrepancies and is A assisting me with the amount owed and removing it off of collections. Given my experience, she has been very helpful and extremely communicative which has allowed me to change my review.

Well, today, the staff greeted me upon arrival. I was checked in and then asked to wait in the patient waiting room. The waiting room is clean, quiet, and calming before a visit. There is event a purified water dispenser with little cups for filling up. The dental technician/asst named Abby called my name for my appointment to begin. She greeted me and then she roomed me. Once in the room, she took internal photos of my teeth and mouth, gave me a blood pressure wristband , and also administered the saliva bacteria test/lab. I got the results within 10-15 mins on my online Dental MyChart record, they are quick here! Abby then received permission from the dentist to take me to get my x-rays. They have a standup machine that's like taking an oral CT Scan 360° photo of your mouth. Then we had the regular dental x-rays where you have to bite down on the trays with the xray manual camera. I really thought it was cool because they also offered to clean my orthodontic retainer while I was here. It literally took only 15 or 20 minutes and it has been cleaner than I've ever seen it since I got it 7-8 years ago. Thanks! Once done with all of my intake tasks, I was able to meet my new dentist, Dr Wu. I explained to her my concerns, and she was very good about examining my mouth and being gentle as well as giving me all of the information that I needed during her exam. I have to say this is probably the best dentist I've ever encountered so far. Her demeanor is wonderful and she does a really good job at articulating and explaining everything that she's thinking about or diagnosing in your mouth. I did also appreciate that she reviewed my saliva bacterial test results and that she gave really good insight on some of the things that the results mean. Doctor Who has a way of making you not feel bad about your situation in your mouth and I really appreciate her for that. Some people are really natural about positive bedside manner, and Dr. Woo was definitely one of those people. Thanks! Since I felt so comfortable, I have agreed to continue and get my work done here. Once Dr. Woo was done with me, she was able to introduce me to Tom who was able to give me all the information that I needed for my treatment plan and everything that Dr. Wu described and explained to me about her course of treatment. Tom is very pleasant and welcoming, and he is also the same person who checked me in and made me feel comfortable for my visit. I like his positive vibe, it matches Dr. Wu's positivity. I will update my review after I get my dental work done, but I'm very happy that I chose to come here. Today as a new patient, I got a brand new toothbrushing kit, which includes some really cool stuff. My daughter has been a patient at Kensington Dental for many years. I will recommend this place also to my mother because she was asking how it went.

After changing dentists around age 10 to 11, we were immediately told she had a severe overjet (approximately 11 mm) and should begin treatment. It was disappointing to realize that something this significant was not brought to our attention earlier, as timing matters for growth based correction. Parents may want to ask specifically about bite and jaw alignment during visits rather than relying on it being addressed.

About two months ago, I had a crown done that I definitely needed. Before the procedure, the only risk discussed was the possibility of needing a root canal because the decay was close to the nerve. I wish there had been a more thorough conversation about the crown process and potential complications beforehand. During the crown prep, I was surprised at how quickly Dr. Qadeer worked. I assumed maybe he was just very experienced, but in hindsight I think the procedure may have been rushed. Two weeks later, I still had pain and inflamed gums when I went in for the permanent crown. I was given a mouthwash that helped, the crown was placed, and I was told everything looked fine. About a month later, I returned for a cleaning and called ahead to say I was still having pain and wanted the tooth checked again. After another X-ray, Dr. Qadeer told me I needed surgery to lengthen the bone because the crown was not sealed correctly. I was shocked. He then claimed this had been discussed beforehand, which it had not, and said he hadn't mentioned it earlier because he wasn't sure until seeing the new X-ray. Quadeer blamed my anatomy not his work for the issue. He later offered to redo the crown at no cost. I reached out to two close friends from college who are dentists -- one an endodontist and one a general dentist who does crowns regularly. Both felt the tooth was likely a difficult case but that surgery sounded excessive. They also pointed out that the issue on the X-ray was already visible when the crown was originally cemented. We decided I should see an endodontist they recommended and trusted. He performed the root canal and prepared the tooth for a replacement crown, since doing additional work on the original crown would likely continue irritating the tooth. I then returned to Dr. Qadeer to redo the crown. During that visit, he still would not take accountability for what happened. He repeatedly said he didn't want to work on my tooth if I didn't trust him, which made the interaction uncomfortable. How could I fully trust him at this point? My permanent crown was delivered this week, and my dentist friends said it looks perfect. I do think Dr. Qadeer is capable of good work. My issue is more with how this situation was handled. If he had simply acknowledged it was a difficult case and said the crown needed to be redone, I would have understood. Instead, the responsibility was consistently shifted to my anatomy or to "not seeing it" earlier. Dentistry requires a great deal of trust, and once that trust is lost, it's hard to regain. I appreciate that he offered to redo the crown at no cost, but overall I left disappointed. My impression is that he prioritizes quantity over quality and that can become a problem when a case requires more time and attention.

(I'm so bad with names lol) But, She was exceptional from the moment I walked in. On only my second visit, she remembered me by name, which made me feel genuinely valued as a patient. She frequently checked in to see if I needed a break, offered me a blanket and a warm wet towel to make me more comfortable, and even went over post-crown care instructions in case I forgot anything after my appointment. Those little touches made a huge difference. Dr. Tran is also fantastic. He's friendly, highly skilled, and works efficiently without making you feel rushed. I always dread the numbing injections because they're usually the worst part for me, but he made them surprisingly painless. While administering the injection, he used his other hand to gently wiggle the surrounding area, which distracted me from the needle and made the whole process much more comfortable than any dental work I've had in the past. Another huge plus is that they offer same-day crowns, so there's no need for a temporary crown or a second appointment. That convenience alone is a game changer. As someone who has had several root canals over the years and genuinely hates going to the dentist, I can honestly say this office changed my perspective. The care, comfort, professionalism, and technology made the experience far better than I expected. I highly recommend Origin Dental to anyone looking for a dental office that truly puts patients at ease.

Throughout the process, I often felt dismissed and rushed. Despite returning multiple times with ongoing pain, my concerns were not fully addressed until a crown was suggested. While I appreciated a same day appointment, it took four hours, during which I was left alone in the chair for over an hour without anyone checking in on me with a drilled open tooth as my local anesthesia wore off. When the pain continued after the crown, I sought a second opinion from an endodontist. They discovered my root was dying, a possibility never mentioned at PB Smiles, and immediately put me on antibiotics. I truly wonder how long it would have taken PB smiles to catch this infection had I not taken it upon myself to find another opinion. The endodontist also told me that the crown was poorly seated and would likely need replacement within a few years and told me in no uncertain terms that I should that I should find a new general dentist. While I understand procedures have risks, the lack of empathy and the failure to investigate the source of my pain led to weeks of unnecessary suffering. And I honestly wonder if the inlay and subsequent crown were even necessary. If you value feeling heard and receiving thorough clinical care, I would suggest looking elsewhere
