(But I haven't had an issue with bed bugs until NEW people moving in.) She was telling me I didnt do the prep right for the pest people, people are still complaining they have bed bugs. I said to her well they came sprayed 3 times. When they came to do follow ups 5 different times I was never informed they were coming so I couldn't do anything. Thats also what the pest people said it wasn't my fault the landlord never called. Now my landlord is threatening to evict me and my children because apparently im not complying with anything. Ever since they sprayed last I HAVENT SEEN ANY BUGS! I told my landlord this but apparently the pest people said other wise which I think is ridiculous because all this company does is lie! Instead of replacing appliances they take parts from old ones and put them in. I finally got a new dishwasher after 3 years of trying them to get me one. If your a week late you get a demand for rent and eviction at the door for everyone to see. The landlord doesn't deal with tenant to tenant arguments or complaints. Landlord gets complaints on my children being loud threats to evict us over that. Dirty drug needles in the attic and also at the playground in the sand and in the pool area. There are drug dealers in the buildings they keep them here because they make money and pay rent on time. If your a family that has children please dont move here. I have been trying to move and I haven't found a decent place for my children. Or I would have already left.

Reports of issues made via emails or the phone receive no response. Property maintenance is an afterthought and it shows (very sloppily landscaped property, regularly overflowing trash dumpster, torn window screens, no hot water, etc). This company just wants your money and does the minimum necessary to get their payment. I would recommend to rent elsewhere, from a more reputable company or a small owner, even if the rent cost is higher.

He had mentioned he would call it a certain time and he would not he would call a couple days later. I didn't sweat it because people are busy. I got a call back from him a week or so after I originally came to look at the apartment and he said that he would love to rent to us. We were thrilled! We had made plans for my boyfriend to go see the apartment and for us to do and figure out the arrangements for the keys and payment. I never heard back from him. He was a call no call no show after making set plans. It's very unfortunate that he had to handle the business this way. Very unprofessional. I would warn anybody who works with this man in this property management. And if you get an apartment I would not get your hopes up to say the least!

We had two other management companies prior and there is no comparison. We had steady guidance and professional help with over a million worth up deferred maintenance..i can't say enough about them. Always a human being answering the phone and the people that have worked on our property were real professionals. They aso happen to manage an large office building where I work and that property is kept better than any other in the area...it is clearly obvious that they pay attention to the details.

New Star will be our last, God willing. Tim, the owner gave us one on one himself until he hired our new Property Manager, Sted Holton. Sted was on property every single day for months until he was satisfied we were on a good path. We were so lucky to have someone that cares, is responsive and knowledgeable. I have sold units in most of Concord's complexes over the years so I can compare. No company is as efficient as NS. Our financials as well as our property and our property values are in the best shape ever thanks to New Star.

My family has been living in one of the properties they have since 2009. We have voiced concerns to…read moreour landlord about our bathroom growing continuous mold and mildew. He brought it up to Newstar since it has something to do with their property which is beyond landlords control. The bathroom exhaust fan showed it was never connected outside, jerry rig "fixed it". Mold is worse now. Had a plumber come in to fix something else, he took a look and saw that the dryer vent exhaust hose had a burst and it is supposed to vent outside with our bathroom exhaust fan. So now no fan and continuous exhaust into our bathroom with none stop mold growing on our ceiling, mirrors, doors. Talk about a health hazard lawsuit in the making, hope you are saving up for that one!!
