If you're in the mood for fried food this is your place. But if you're on a tight budget, pretty much go anywhere else in Olney except the steak house to get more bang for your buck. To say this place is over priced would be an understatement. I tried it once when they first opened and said I'd never go back. But since they are expanding I thought maybe things had changed. Visited HV while picking up bikes at Pacific Cycle. The atmosphere and service was really good. The workers were very nice. Not sure what the rules are in IL but no one was wearing masks. I got the philly omelet and my girlfriend got the skillet hash. The omelet we good. It was smaller than I expected but good. The skillet hash was average. Four and a half, but since I didn't end up eating here, I'll bump it up. And why not a hands down five? Because the "spirits" side of the name is lacking. Luckily, they're building on next month and plan to expand that side of the business. The bar is currently tiny. I ordered the mango margarita, but they were out of mango and she used a mango substitute. I will mention that she didn't charge me for it in the end. And I ended with a regular margarita, which was good. They didn't have any IPAs on hand. They did have Sierra Nevada, which I would consider the closest thing that they had to a craft beer. The impressive thing here was the car theme and the cleanliness of the place. It was an old KFC building. They owner completely remodeled it, named it after her dad, and gave it the car theme. Love it! It's one of those places that I hope to see on a future episode of Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. Although I can't comment on the food, I looked over the menu and seen several items while I was there, and it all looked just as impressive as the cleanliness and decor. First time guests. Hate to be that person but.....Decor was unique , food was ok, service was horrible . After waiting to order for about 20 minutes , waited for almost an hour for a cheeseburger and grilled chicken and Mac and cheese. Then after waiting for a good 15 minutes I found our waitress at the end of the bar chatting. I had to ask for our check .All together we were there right at 1 hour and 45 minutes . The prices are on the high end in Richland county. It I'd say the food quality is slightly better than the majority of offerings in the area. I ordered Caribbean dry rub wings and they were spicy without being overpowering - very good! Unfortunately, my mom's $19 medium rare ribeye arrived well done. She didn't eat it as it was too dry, so be very specific if you order beef, or stick to less expensive protein options. She did claim that the onion pie side was very good. Good luck HV's. I was in Olney for a few days and stopped in. I was seriously surprised in the food for such a small town. It was .80¢ wing night so I sat at the bar and ordered a handful to start with their home made sauce. As I waited I noticed how well the whole staff worked together, they all seemed like a great team who must have been together for a long while, as they seemed to get along like family. When the wings arrived they were exceptionally good, meaty, cooked perfectly, and the sauce wasn't too hot to eat but still left my lips warm until my entree arrived. Amazing so far! I ordered the Rat Rod as it seemed different and I like different. Again, it was surprisingly good. For a little place in a little town, it's got to be the best around. The only regret I had was I was too full to try their Bread Pudding which is apparently their signature dessert. read more

We're from out of town and had to come into Olney to handle a difficult family issue. We are the type of people that when we travel, the first thing we look at is what we're going to eat. I have to tell you...we were NERVOUS coming to Olney...there's not a ton of dining selections to choose from. By sheer luck. A family member invited us to lunch at this place. Looking at the menu, we didn't expect anything overly special. Burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads...the usual stuff from a restaurant/bar. But once we sat down, the service was STELLAR! The food was REALLY GOOD! The sweet potato fries with marshmallow dip were heavenly. After lunch, we had more family business to handle. When it was time for dinner, we didn't have to think about it...we came right back and tried more dishes...again...REALLY GOOD!!! But even more surprising was the fact that the service (though a different staff by this time) was again...AMAZING! Thank you for turning a hard family situation into a not-so-bad day! When we walked in there's a wall right in front of us, I thought we entered the wrong door. We sat on the patio for outdoor dining but smoking is allowed and there were two smokers. Came in at 630pm, on a Thursday, wasn't busy at all. Waited 15 minutes to be seated and served a drink. Waited a half hour for my order to be taken. Ordered the special Spaghetti and meatballs. Took 45 minutes for order to come out. Got to watch restaurant staff play grab ass and snapping towels at each other. Dinner finally came, meatballs where cold and hard, spaghetti was sitting in a bed of water, sauce tasted like cook had a live affair with oregano. Could only stomach eating less than half of meal. Waited another 30 minutes to get the attention of staff, to get my bill. Never saw the waitress after she took my order. Eaten here many times. But this day was not their finest. We stop here every once in a while. We try to get something new each time. The food is ok but nothing fantastic- it's just something different from the usual choices. My MIL would give it 10 stars because she loves their wings. So I guess everyone's opinion is different. I had the BLT recently and the sandwich was plain, skimpy on portion size and the bacon tasted as though it had been sitting around for a while. Our son's burger was good size though. read more

Not really any vegetarian options unless you get the Mac and cheese (it is very good though). The appetizers are good always hot and crisp, we usually go for the mushroom cauliflower or okra. The Sidewinders are also very tasty. While it is a restaurant that has a focus on like sports and drinks, I usually come for breakfast because it is very tasty. I normally opt for the french toast or 'The Prius'. The Prius is so good I had to start making a version of it myself at home because I was craving it so often. read more

We arrived on a busy Saturday at lunch (lots of little leaguers!) but, despite the busy-ness, the service was pretty good.
