1000/10 we loved this place. We have the fork in the road cards and that is what brought us here. We LOVED it. Top place we think we have ever been to on the card. Everything was amazing and the restaurant was well decorated. We had the cocos stuff chicken. AMAZING. We had the chicken jambalaya. AMAZING. We had the brownie explosion . AMAZING (and definitely for sharing) We are so excited to go back there and bring more people next time. It is and hour drive for us but we enjoyed it that much.

Wow - This place was very unexpected. Came for a work lunch and they recommended we go here. We did not have reservations but luckily we were able to get a table for 6 right away. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made really good recommendations. While I didn't get to see it, they also have a spa on site. I saw a couple people going in and leaving, I really want to do that next time I'm in the area. The food was very good, I had a sandwhich which was really good. They also have tons of dessert options which I didn't get but wanted to but was so full from all the good food I had. I totally recommend this place, I'm sure it will not disappoint!

One of the best dining experiences around the Vincennes/Lawrenceville area! Upscale drinks and dining, great atmosphere, and friendly service! Featured here are the famous white wedding cake, fried green tomatoes, crab cakes, and a chicken ceasar salad! Definitely a "must-visit" for a date night!

This place is amazing. We drove over an hour to get here and it was well worth it. The food and service were fantastic. Our server, Amber O. took great care of us. She anticipated our needs before we even asked. The white wedding cake is unbelievable.

Delicious food, great service, and it's beautiful inside! We went to try it and ended up going back two days later because it was so good.

Drove over an hour to try this destination experience from Bloomington Indiana. So glad we did! I took my mom here for her 68th birthday. After relaxing In the Himalayan sea salt room we enjoyed lunch alfresco on the patio. They were sweet to accommodate our small toy poodle. It was very cozy and shaded. I started off with a cup of the red pepper Gouda soup. It was Very well seasoned, full of big chunks of red pepper, and finished with creamy cheese. Delicious!! Then I ordered the stuffed chicken which is listed as a menu favorite. The chicken breast is Panko encrusted and filled with a savory cream cheese with a zesty glaze. Wonderful! It comes with a potato and vegetable of the day. I will definitely come back with my husband soon and get more spa services & try Coco's bar.

Ended up coming here for the first time on a Saturday night for dinner. Very impressed! The meal is definitely the best in town (including Vincennes too). I had the stuffed chicken (pictured). It came highly recommended and I agreed...very good! Also got a piece of White Wedding Cake to go and it's out of this world. It's a big slice so for sure get one slice for 2 people or take it to-go! The wait staff was very friendly too. I would also recommend getting reservations. We went right at 5pm CST and got sat right away. But the staff seemed a little hesitant at first because they seemed to have a busy reservation list, so call ahead!

Prime rib special. Tasty, generous, a little too salty.

Ah, yes. COCO's. Southeast Illinois' bastion of culture and good taste. May she ever reign. But being a bastion means jutting into the enemy, and it ain't always easy folks. COCO's has a really nice menu, bringing some trendy food to lil ol Lawrence county. Sometimes the execution misses the target. Our salmon was dry and quite over cooked. Prime was too salty as were the other dishes. But entirely tolerable. CS is where the drama begins. It's hit or miss, usually miss. Be prepared to help train the waitstaff. There's nothing wrong with it. The best episode from this visit is when we asked for a vegetarian recommendation (there aren't any, something to address). Our fellow responded with, "like, how vegetarian are you?" I really do like everything about COCO's. I've never had a bad dessert, and, yes, dessert can be screwed up. Usually the appetizers blow me away. One of the best French onion soups I've eaten came from this kitchen. But, it's a gastronomical roller coaster, folks. There's plenty to like, some to dislike, and just like family; love it all the same.

This is a super cute little cafe! I highly recommend making reservations. When we called to reserve a table they were full for that evening but we were placed on a waiting list. We made plans to go somewhere close by just in case we would still be able to get in here and lucky for us we got the call that someone had cancelled and we could get in! We started out with a few drinks before we made our decision on what we wanted. Our waitress was very chatty and didn't hesitate to let us know what her favorite drinks and food items are. We started out with the dill pickle chips and a homemade dilly ranch sauce and they were amazing! Our friends ordered the Buckeyes and beer cheese which was actually little soft pretzel balls! They were pretty tasty also! The Sophia margarita was amazing as well. Most of us got the prime rib for our main dish and it came with a salt crusted baked potato and green beans. The prime rib was not the best I've ever had, it was actually cut pretty thin and had a large portion of fat on it. It was served with an au jus sauce that was phenomenal. I prefer horseradish with mine but our waitress informed me that they were out that evening. We ended our meal with their famous wedding cake! It was tasty but I was unable to finish it and I'll just say it was actually better the next day I thought so get a piece to go! Definitely will be returning here in the near future! It's certainly a hidden gem!

The pork chop was really tender. Could cut it with a fork it was that good very moist and not dried out. I also ordered the brussels sprouts as a side dish with the drizzle of hot barbecue really good and crispy. Best brussels sprout sprouts I've ever had not to overcook not too crispy just right. For an appetizer I ordered the homemade potato chips with French onion dip. They were good I thought maybe they might be warm but that's OK if they weren't they were not seasoned at all. I ordered them with the French onion dip. Waitress brought my ticket to me and said it in front of me and I said isn't there something you want to ask me? She said oh would you like to try dessert and I said yes I said OK so she took the ticket away. I ordered the Keylime pie. I asked if any of them were homemade said the only thing homemade was the handspun milkshakes. Everything else was ordered from a bakery out of Chicago. The Keylime pie was really good. Great flavor to it. Nice thick graham cracker crust. Dining room is really decorated nice. Has a lot of home decor things and the expose brick wall on the dining room is unique. You could tell it was an old building. Mismatch chairs, and tables make it unique and eclectic. The bar is in the middle of the dining room makes it feel not like so much a bar, but kind of a really welcoming atmosphere. Olivia was my waitress. She was very good and prompt more refills and other follow ups.

Well Dang! When you are here you certainly do NOT think you are in Terre Haute anymore!…read more Came here after a work event really just to check it out. When I walked in I asked where it was and the security staff told me to go to the 10th floor. You have to walk through the hotel part and go up. Once you get off I promise you, you feel that you are no longer in Terre Haute. I honestly felt like I was in Charlotte, NC. The view is insane looking at the greenery of what makes Indiana so pretty in the summer time (I can't wait to go back during fall to take in the view then too). The music was a total vibe. It was R&B, Chill POP (is that a thing, don't know how else to describe). There is an outdoor patio area where there was a guy playing live music and people sitting on couches relaxing and watching while enjoying a cocktail. I sat at the bar because I was by myself and certainly didn't want to take up an entire couch and leave that for others that may have larger parties. As soon as I sat down my server came to take my order. While I wasn't really planning to eat, once I looked at the menu the Chicken Nachos were calling my name. Even though I am counting calories, I had to order. Man, when they came out they were huge and so so good. You can order the chicken blackened which I did and man it was great. I just sat and enjoyed my very caloric nachos and a cocktail and just really took it in. I don't live in Terre Haute, I live in Indianapolis, but I spend a ton of time in Terre Haute for work. At that moment, I felt proud. I felt proud of Terre Haute for making the investment and proud that they are attempting to change the city by offering things like this. I host client events for work and I am thinking of ways to host something fun here, so I will be back!

WOW! What an unexpected cool space for Terre Haute. And this is absolutely a 5 star Yelp spot by…read moreTerre Haute standards. More "lounge" than "bar" to me, the space is vast. Through the hotel lobby entrance, take a hard right and then another right to the elevator bank, up to the 10th floor. There is plenty of signage to tell you how to find Altitude. A greeter is at the podium to offer a friendly welcome. We are actually not going to have a drink nor something to eat (note that they do offer food in addition to adult beverages). My aging parents and I simply want to walk around and see the space. And what a great space. Navy, white, golds and gray....sofas, bar seating, cream curtains, loads of windows, giant patio. I liked that the greeter was open and welcoming for us to simply walk around...and he was nice to my older parents who were moving slow. Thinking to myself that this place is more dressed up than dressed down, I am quick to remember this is Terre Haute. I think you could get away with a spectrum of clothing. Save the crappy cut offs and flip flops for another place, but I am certain they would not turn you away at the door. But with that, for a dressed up girls night out or a romantic spot in jeans with someone you love, this spot would be excellent. What a view and a what a patio! Now it is June and at 6:45pm as we are outside on this patio to take in the view, there is little shade, it is a bit warm and the sun is glaring to a person like myself that shuns the sun. But what a great space. Very open and spacious, some hightop tables, but mostly very tasteful outdoor sofas and chairs, with fire-pit coffee tables. Heat lamps are about and I know this space will be a hit at the perfect shoulder months of cool Spring nights and crisp Fall evenings. Full views south, West and North of the Vigo county area. This space in general is definitely a step up in the coolness factor for places to get a drink in this town. I give Altitude a 5 on Yelp and I am yet to have a drink. I'm optimistic that the bone dry Tito's martini with olives I will order on my next visit will match the ambiance we took in. And if they have blue cheese stuffed olives to boot, my cup will runnith over. I will come back.
