Great atmosphere and staff. Prices were reasonable. There was plenty of room. Pool tables, gaming and just an all around great setup.

Huge, clean bar with tons of good beers and bar activities. Lillian is possibly the greatest bartender ever as well. Be nice to her!!

When people think of whiskey in Indiana's Brown County, they might think of that other place. (You…read moreknow the one.) But there is another distillery quietly making small-batch, high-quality spirits in Nashville, and that's Bear Wallow Distillery. Located just outside of downtown Nashville, Bear Wallow Distillery is one of the only female-owned distilleries in the country. They create their spirits in a traditional copper pot still, which I learned is unique. Inside the tasting room, you can enjoy a whiskey tasting or a flight, or sip a craft cocktail and relax in the shop. I chose to enjoy a "Call Me Old Fashioned" standing up at the bar, while chatting with the guy who made me my drink. My Old Fashioned was well balanced, not too sweet and made me feel all warm inside, as a good Old Fashioned should. Those who are interested in learning more about the whiskey-making craft can go on a Farm-to-Fifth Tour, which takes you behind the scenes to learn about the history of whiskey and see the full production process. I did, and I found it very informative! I had a new appreciation for the kind of whiskey and spirits they are making here at Bear Wallow Distillery. From the ingredients they choose to the barrels they use, they really put their foot in it, as they say. If you like whiskey, or just like to try local spirits, this is a good place to visit in Nashville.

The guy working was so nice and explained everything so we knew what the different whiskey's were. We loved it and I would for sure come back here. We went on a Sunday around lunch and there was no one else there. Very nice to have the place to ourselves!

Took a long time to get a beer. In fact, our dinners arrived before we got our drinks because the…read moreserver said Yuenling was not a domestic beer, which was what was on special. In fact, it is a domestic beer! Also, for a substitution pepprocini peppers instead of green peppers we got charged five dollars extra. It wasn't explained to us that they don't do that normally which is what I should've been informed of in the beginning. The server did apologize though. She did get it taken off of our bill which was appreciated. Food was OK, but once the Customer Service experience starts to break down, it just doesn't taste as good as it probably would've. We were excited to try this place because we saw a lot of good reviews, but didn't think it was as good quality as most of the reviews stated.

I got chicken parm. It too, was over cooked and came with the same very thin, kind of tasteless meat sauce. Oddly, the slice of cheese on it wasn't really melted. The side Caesar salad had good lettuce but just had Parmesan cheese from a shaker, would have been much better with shaved cheese. My wife did like her pizza so maybe that's the thing to order here? Service was good and it does have a nice setting.
