Anyway, back to Hyklas (high class) - truly vintage little grocery store and they had a great selection of items in their charming little space. We found everything that we needed and some extra things that just looked darn good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The store was clean & well stocked. We visited a few times during our short stay.

The prices for they charge are not worth it on the products they carry. The sales they run are not worth it. I only go here if there is something I absolutely need, that no other store has in stock. When we first walked in to the store as well we went to the bread section and there was another customer who was starring at us and was trying to also get to the bread. We moved so we can let him through and he instead just rushed around us and was making snarky remarks on how we didn't move. As if we didn't move, also there's a word and it's called "excuse me" if we didn't notice but we did. Today was the worst experience in that store and I have never had any other problems. I always say sorry, excuse me, I apologize anything like that to anyone if I'm in the wrong or in the way. If you have a stick up your ass and having a shitty day or just a grouch, don't gotta be rude to other people who are being nice. I've noticed whenever I shop here I encounter some extremely rude people, and it's making me not want to come to this Hy-Vee location. The parking lot is a horrible disarray, there are way too many Tesla chargers for the number of Teslas that you actually see here. There are two rows of chargers and during peak times you may see 3 to 4 Teslas in the parking lot. These are taking up spots that other cars could use, and causing excess congestion. The Tesla chargers should have been pushed to the end of a lot instead of right smacked in the center where people like to park. I don't think I can shop at the store without getting extremely frustrated, which is a shame because there are some nice people here. Also, I think that their prices sometimes are better than the other stores, but the frustration that comes with coming onto their property far out way as any of the benefits from shopping here.
