My other supplier fell through, so I contacted Terri about 2 weeks prior to my wedding. The process was very easy. I met Terri at the farm where I got a brief tour of the flowers they had and she described some other types that would have available. She wrote up an estimate right there and I provided a deposit. I was very happy with the prices- it ranged from 60 cents per stem for more wildflower types to $2.50 per stem for peonies. She delivered the flowers on time and they were really gorgeous. One word of caution- if you go with local flowers, you have to pretty flexible- I didn't actually see the peonies until they were delivered. Abudance Acres grows many of the flowers they supply but if they are low in a type or don't grow a variety you want, they can get it from other farms.

Shannon and Jason were so helpful and informative, never leaving us in the dark or confused about the process. Mother's Day rolls around and my mom sent me photos of her bouquet... the flowers were not arranged and were just put in a vase. None of them were cut to look cohesive... for the money I spent I was expecting way more arrangement quality. Sad because I would love to give back to small businesses but now I understand I'll just give my $100 some dollars to 1-800 flowers or urban stems from now on.
