I love love love the gal that runs the place...she practically lives there to make things happen for her clients no matter what they need I recently read the rather harsh review by Carlos and kind of thought he was way off base. They offer some plastic wrapped roses and all the other loose flowers to make a bouquet YOURSELF . Price savings...a DIY option. Similar to a grocery store...no one cuts or puts those in a vase there either. While Carlos might think any "monkey" could do what he expected, at certain hours of their business day the staff are high school girls with a couple hours a night to help out and aren't meant to be "designing". Certainly by his tone and word choice he was most likely very intimidating to them. If i had been there when this was happening I would have called him out for bullying these girls. When I want to grab that discount priced item I am getting that great price to do the work at home. When I want the long stem flowers created into a fantastic gift I realize I can have this done when the design staff is there...I got the impression that Carlos expected this shop and perhaps any other to have people there 24/7...that's ridiculous!!! He couldn't walk into a medical facility and have the receptionist give him a check up ... Felly's has a great reputation, and I always find that I receive that high level standard at this shop ...I want my flowers made into a design by someone who excels at design...and I certainly know these young ladies all have different roles in their shop. He wanted something done, but in every successful business, there are rules and protocol for employees so the best product is available for the general public.

I fell in love with one of the larger bouquets and then asked Basil if they might be able to put together two smaller ones for me as well. She was happy to do so and quickly arranged two gorgeous posies for me and even customized the colors! The whole armload of three beautiful arrangements came to a little over $50. Great deal for such amazing quality and stupendous service! Super impressed with the quality of Sun Prairie Flowers by Hen & Chick. I have seen that they also work with local establishments to keep fresh flowers on the tables at coffee shops and restaurants, which is such a great idea. Some of the flowers I originally wanted weren't in season but she had great ideas to get a similar look so it didn't matter- she was super helpful! She also was very willing to try new things for us (ours was the first wedding she did submerged hydrangeas for and it came out beautifully) and work with materials we brought her (crushed glass, candles, etc). We were also able to rent vases from her which cut costs considerably too. I can't recommend her enough!!
