This past July 4th I was the victim of a hit and run on Rt 28 in Yarmouth Ma. I was hit in the rear quarter with a damaged frame, rear wheel and rear passenger door, also the cars ACS system was damaged. Luckily there was a witness who got the license plate number and the name on the truck that hit me. I brought my car to Hyannis Collision after a tree branch landed on my roof and hood. In my opinion it was minor damage. They had the car for several weeks. When I got the car back it was dusk, and I did not notice how bad the hood was. The repair looked like a school kid's first try. It was so bad I asked the insurance company to take a look at it. In response Hyannis Collission said they would order and paint a new hood. Why didn't they do this in the first place instead of returning the vehicle with such a bad job? When they finally did replace the hood, it looked good. Also, while they had my car, I had them install a trailer hitch. They just left the wires hanging. When I returned to ask them to attach the plug to the bracket that was provided, they said it could not be done. We'll I managed to affix the plug with some aluminum scrap and a screw. In my opinion, this was not star-worthy service. read more

Some idiot swiped my parked car and damaged my passenger-side mirror. Had I taken it to the dealership or elsewhere, I would've paid an arm and a leg to have it repaired. Fortunately, I found Hyannis Collision who fixed my mirror for a very reasonable rate and even buffed out a few scratches and washed my car before I picked it up. I had $4800 of work done. When I went to pick up the car the man behind the counter said he didn't appreciate me calling asking when the car would be ready. He said, "You just didn't get it." When I reached into my pocket to look at the note to double check what I owed he said to me, "What do you need to check. I told you on the phone what you owed." He then used profanities to describe what he felt was a poor quote by the insurance adjuster from my insurance company. The quality of work was good and the work was done on time. It would of been a good experience if I didn't have to deal with the rude behavior and profanity laced speech of the man in the office. read more

My parked car was hit by a tourist (yes, a tourist). My dog witnessed the whole thing, but she didn't snich! I called the service department of my car dealer and they suggested Hyannis Collision. (I later found out the dealer brings their cars here after tourists smash into their cars too.) Anyway, I dropped the car off on a Monday and it was ready the next Monday. I was amazed at the quality of work. I was worried the gaps between the quarter panels wouldn't look right or the car would like it had been painted, but the car looked like it just rolled out of the dealership. The lens on the brake light had a slight chipped and I figured they would just "forget about it", but they completely replaced the whole housing and lens. The job required a supplement, but Hyannis Collision worked with the insurance company and adjuster seamlessly and I didn't have to get involved. The guys in the office could be a bit friendlier, but I thought the workmanship was great. I have an expensive car so I was pretty apprehensive about handing my car to a bunch of guys I knew nothing about, but I would recommend Hyannis Collision if a tourist smashes into your car. read more
