Captain Jake and the crew were a pleasure to listen to--knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely fun. The tour around Hyannis Harbor was beautiful, offering stunning views as the sun set over the water. The boat itself was spotless and very comfortable, and the whole crew was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It felt like the perfect way to spend a summer evening--relaxing, scenic, and well-hosted. There are lights under the fountain in the reflection pond. The fountain is meant to be the eternal flame when lit up. I'd love to see it one day in the evening. Our walk through the memorial was very nice & relaxing. There are benches in front of it so that you can sit and soak in the view of the bay. The only caution I have as you're walking around is to watch your step. There are many Canadian geese a laying large green poops in the area. I can't even imagine what it must smell like if you step or slip on it. Just be careful.

Took 6 weeks for a couple to come and do these. Some sculptures were 3 ton of sand , some were 5 and one was 15ton! It was special and brought in from New Hampshire. Cuffy's on RT 28 had three inside their place of business so you could really see them up close. Each business designed and paid for them. Dunkin doughnuts ofcourse was a cup of coffee with his hand around a doughnut! After the sculpture is finished they take elmers glue and water and spray the entire surface to keep the sculptures intact.

It did not take but a few minutes for me to wind up with an injury from a fall due to an unvene pavement from a tree root problem. I was taken to Cape Cod hospital and treated very well. The big problem is that my injury and hematoma lasted 12 weeks. The concussion did not last that long. Being out of commission I was unable to attend summer activities with family and friends. In dealing with the town for all of this they refuse to take responsibility. The insurance company is doing what they were hired to do, but I am still left wit 3 months of pain and suffering. They claim NOBODY was ever hurt there and it was my fault that I did not look. EMS, as well as witnesses at the sight reported this happens several times a season but noting has been done to repair the situation. Be careful when traveling because although they need TOURISTS they really do not want to assist when there is a problem. Visited July 2014

There's a lot of interesting and good information, and I liked the people. But.... The first half of the tour is in an old mini bus. The bus has tiny windows, like 4" square, and no air circulation. No fans. No air conditioning. Today was nearly 90 out by 10 am, when our tour started, and temperatures inside the bus got so hot that stepping out felt cool! You don't travel far, and then they stop for 10 minutes to talk about what's out the window. It's brutal. Ironically, the travel distances are so slim most people could walk it. But, just sitting on the bus in the heat? Yuck. The second half is in an old shed where you learn about harvesting. Again, it could be interesting, but it's a good 10° hotter, even with the fans going, and it makes it hard to focus. Or even listen. Better weather would have helped. But, we had an old lady in our tour group nearly pass out, and the guide indicated that that was not uncommon. Heck, complimentary water would be nice. Waters are a dollar. The tour is fifteen. It's all cash only.
