    Down stairs bar!
    Khrystyna C.

The hotel was in the middle of everything. Easy to walk to amazing dinner venues. Clean rooms, helpful staff. The downstairs had good breakfast and if you don't want the whole buffet you could get just fruit and yogurt. Thank you for accommodating me. The down stairs bar had a great wait staff and bar tenders.

Modern and chick located in the heart of Midtown Paid ramp parking payment conveniently can be connected to your hotel room. Staff was friendly and helpful. King room, bed looked as though someone sat on it after it was made but the room seemed clean and fresh. No lingering pet hair or odors in a pet friendly hotel. No food particles body hairs or stains. I slept extremely well. I enjoyed use of the workout facility and pool in the morning. I would not consider it a heated pool. I would consider it a standard temperature for an indoor pool good for swimming or kids playing. A hot tub on facility would be nice. Perhaps shower could be in bathrooms And where the shower is could be a hot tub. The pool could be more narrow or shorter.

I had to work in Atlanta for a week and needed a place that was dog friendly so I chose the Hyatt Centric. There's also a dog park right across the street and I totally felt safe walking him early in the morning and late at night. The front desk even had treats for him at the time of my visit. The hotel was under a bit of construction, but my room was freshly renovated. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

I had a nice stay at my first visit to the Hyatt Centric Midtown. Room was as expected, clean and well organized. Gym facility was always in good shape and breakfast buffet daily offered some nice selections. I didn't use housekeeping services daily, but when I did, they were very efficient and did a great job

I prefer Hyatt for hotel stays but this location missed the mark in a few ways. While it is located in midtown you'll be a little distance from downtown and Buckhead. There is a MARTA station conveniently located two blocks from the hotel. Not too far from the airport which is helpful. Fairly close to piedmont park and shake shack. While we did enjoy our room on the 11th floor we did not enjoy smelling weed as soon as we got off of the elevator or throughout the hallway. We didn't opt to get breakfast at the hotel because it wasn't included and $26 for a buffet seems a bit high for the selection offered. The valet attendants were very thoughtful in opening the doors as we entered and exited each time which was appreciated. Staff was friendly. Wasn't quite a fan of housekeeping entering the room when we requested no housekeeping during our stay. Not a bad stay just a few annoying pieces. I am glad that Hyatt accounting department was able to quickly get my money refunded to me for a charge that was incorrect.

The sliders & "truffle fries" I ordered

Luciano at the bar in Author's Den gave me this experience; I will recount the rest of the conversation for you (I am deaf so I had to communicate with him thru this app), and you can decide what rating it deserves. You see in the conversation screenshot that I clearly ordered food at the same time I placed a drink order. He served the drink, which was well made & I enjoyed. I sat there for a half hour & then inquired about the food I ordered. He looks down at the computer, looks back at me, points down & mouths "now" at me. Okay cool. But then he hands me a menu. You see me ask if he put the order in. He writes on receipt paper that food service doesn't start until 5. I point to the sign on the bar & sign at him that it says 4 -6 for happy hour. He says drinks only. I turn the sign around & show him the list of appetizers on the happy hour sign. He signals me to wait and runs to the kitchen. I know this means he is trying to find out what the options are to offer me. I'm annoyed, cold, & now just wanna go up to my room, so I ask him to cash me out for the drink. He refuses telling me it's gonna be free & asks do I want it to go? I figure it's stupid to refuse $14 of free food so I say thank you, yes, & wait. He brings me the food in the photo.

The Hyatt Centric wasn't here when I lived in Atlanta so I was looking forward to my stay here. However with issues with a non working TV Remote, & no fresh linen in my first room, I had to move to another. Reaching out to the Front Desk was the roll of the dice as I was put on hold a few times too many...that happen for the majority of my 4 day stay. The interior Restaurant/Bar employees working during Breakfast time wasn't as friendly as the evening employees. To note, the Breakfast Buffet is $18 with the normal eggs, pancakes, potatoes & fresh fruit. Juice, Coffee & Tea that's usually available was self serve was not & we had to wait in the sole Server to accommodate us. Honestly, the Valet team made up for the less than good experience. Aside from Valet, there is a parking lot adjacent to the hotel. I prefer Marriott, use Hyatt for work & notice a small pattern that my stays with Hyatt are usually not yielding an overall good experience.

    Raw bacon

This site was disappointing in many ways. Being in a wheelchair there was no assistance with luggage upon arrival. I had to call for my room to be clean. The worst was room service. After paying over 35. for 2 eggs that was cold and over cook 2 strips of raw bacon and small lukewarm coffee I was unhappy.

I don't recommend this hotel. Dirty sheets with blood stains and hairs. Please see attached photo. Room is very noisy with paper thin wall. Parking is on level 9, but no elevator on level 9. You will have to go to level 1 then take parking lot's elevator to level 8, then walk to level 9.

We had an 8 pm reservation but ended up getting there early. We were seated 30 minutes early with no problem. I just wish I could remember her name. There are some delicious choices on the menu--meat, seafood, & vegetarian. The drinks were all well done and tasty--from the Old Fashions to the lemons drop to the shot of vodka. Our food came in good time, and every dish was prepared just right. The igloo decor was cute and "wintery" with cozy blankets, a basket of treats and goodies, and a heater. The package included free ice-skating and unlimited games in the rooftop. Our waiter was awesome and very attentive to our needs. However, the experience wasn't comfortable enough for the high price we paid. Even though we had one heater, the igloo was still a bit cold. Also, the heater's cord was short, so we couldn't move much and had to stay right next to it. Maybe adding a second heater and a hot chocolate station in the igloo, along with some music, would make the space feel much cozier and nicer.

This is the same building that houses popular Atlanta restaurant Empire State South on its ground floor. Ever seen the movie The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)? This place reminds me of the scene where Leonardo DiCaprio and Matthew McConaughey had lunch, high above the Manhattan skyline. Video: https://youtu.be/wM6exo00T5I. It's got an old-fashioned, formal, elegant setting; like a nice country club without the golf, tennis, and swimming pool. In other words, it's a city club and it's got some magnificent views of Midtown. There were several beautiful spaces to the club and I believe we had access to them all. The entrance had a coat check and was nicely decorated with wreaths and Christmas nutcrackers. There was a small study in front with an absolutely gorgeous Christmas tree. The main doors led to a bar area with lots of standing and seating room. The bar connected to various dining rooms/spaces (I counted five). Just about every room had terrific views of the city. There was also a covered patio with tables, seating, heat lamps, and illuminated snowflake decor for the holiday season. The patio is the best place to take in the views. Photo: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-peachtree-club-atlanta?select=C8BsutGj3QGmsegeybIrjA. The patio is located on the north side of the building, so the main view faces north up Peachtree Street towards the PwC tower. One criticism I have about the patio is the coverage wasn't very good. Our party took place on a cold, wet Saturday night (6pm to 10pm) and drops of water were still falling onto us from above. Another small critique I have is there were only two heat lamps for the entire patio and one of them wasn't working (it may have run out of gas). A nice touch I liked was the basket of shawls placed by the patio door in case anyone needed a wrap for warmth. Catering was not provided by a third party, but by the club itself. There were four dinner stations set up inside. Two were manned. I liked how the stations were spread out to avoid crowding issues. I believe the guest list was about 120-130. The bar got pretty crowded during cocktail hour, but spacing was more comfortable once dinner was served. Seating was a bit tight at dinner. The tables were white tablecloth with candles and centerpieces. Here were the stations and menu items: Asian Station - Vegetable fried rice - Chicken sate (satay) with peanut dipping sauce - Thai vegetable noodle bowl - Pork pot stickers with dipping sauce - Fried wontons - Edamame with sea salt Rudolph Riviera (staffed by chef/server) - Crispy garlic bread - Penne pasta with chicken in a garlic cream sauce Under the Christmas Tree (staffed by chef/server) - Bacon-wrapped turkey tenderloin over butternut squash-scented risotto - Sage-crusted pork loin over celery-whipped potatoes - Cranberry chutney Dessert Station - Various cake and brownie bites, tarts, cream puffs, and more In general, I thought the food was OK. The pot stickers and penne pasta were my favorite items. The penne pasta was served out of a cheese wheel for presentation purposes. The noodles at the Asian Station looked more like a pasta dish than a Thai dish. Not really authentic. The noodles were prepared with a coconut sauce. The turkey and pork station was manned by a chef from Italian restaurant Campagnolo, which is located just a couple blocks east of the club. He works as a chef for both Campagnolo and The Peachtree Club. Admittedly, I do think the food I've had from local caterers like Affairs to Remember and Bold American Events has been better. There was an open bar with friendly bartenders. After dinner, there were no servers serving coffee nor was there a coffee station. Instead, coffee was served at the bar, which I thought was interesting (and uncommon, in my experience). In general, I thought all of the staff did a fantastic job, from the managers to the coat check lady. We brought in Cobalt Strings (https://www.yelp.com/biz/cobalt-strings-atlanta) to perform live holiday music. We had this same trio perform at our holiday party last year at the Atlanta History Center. They are that good. The Peachtree Club opened in 1989.
