I love the back area with a view of Boeing and the magnificent lake. It's connected to a park in which I took several walks. A large playground for the kids. It's an incredibly lovely location and we hit 4 days of the most perfect weather. Did not eat there. The Starbucks had a poor selection of food, ridiculously high-priced beverages, wine etc. The staff was exceptional. Front desk and housekeeping went out of their way to accommodate my needs. Probably would be something I couldn't normally afford but I had conference rates. read more

Looks like a beautiful hotel but I won't be back. Visited for lunch one weekend afternoon on a very expensive motorcycle and pulled off to the side to talk to the valet. Some big guy, presumably a manager yelled at me "you can't park there!" to which I replied I'm not leaving it there, I would like to use the valet area and park my bike myself. He told me I could only use the parking garage. I drove 50ft away and parked on street. You know, the guy just didn't want to hear anything I had to say. I was trying to pay for use of valet but we never got that far because the manager was too busy shooing me away to listen. So from the first minute on the property I was greeted with unprofessional, robotic attitude, & I won't be back. Big guy working the lot needs to work on his people skills. read more

I stayed here 2-22-20. First off the hotel looks amazing. The view is the absolute best part. However, while sitting in my room not once, not twice but 3 times random employees barged into my room without knocking. Just unlocked the door and came right on in. That was extremely frustrating. I finally put the latch over the door so they couldn't come in. Then my fiancé and I go out to dinner because I wasn't paying the crazy prices at the restaurant there. We return to find out they locked us out of our room because the moron that checked us in didn't run the credit card right. In fact he ran a credit card that wasn't even mine. Where he got that card number is beyond me. But instead of calling me in my room or on the telephone number they had on file to let me know to come down and get it straightened out. They just locked us out of our room at 9:30 at night. I was pretty pissed because the lady started refusing to run the same card I had given the guy earlier. She even tried to play the would you like to speak with my manager card. When I told her I knew there was over $3000 available on the card she finally ran it. And of course it went through. But it took 20 minutes of arguing with her to get her to run the card. Didn't offer much of an apology for any of it. I don't think I'll ever be back. The view is great. But you pay $270 for a room plus $38 to park just to get terrible customer service and random employees entering your your room while you're in there. I don't recommend it at all. Update... day two of our three day stay and they moved us to a Lake View Deluxe King. The view from here is amazing and well worth the upgrade. Would be 5 stars if not for day one. Rooms are indeed really nice and trimmed out with lots of little extras like the walnut wood bench in the walk-in shower. The Hyatt on Lake Washington is a new facility with very modern clean rooms, a nice restaurant, fancy spa, pool, and an amazing gym. We upgraded to a Deluxe Park View King to enjoy the benefits of having a little extra space and expected either a view of Lake Washington or the nearby park. Instead we got hoodwinked and should've saved our money to book a basic Lake View King room. We were given keys to Room 509 which is about 25yds away from the adjacent apartment complex making the view useless unless you stand in one corner of the room next to the alarm clock or if you're a wierdo who enjoys creeping on the neighbors. Pretty obvious from my photos that the room description is a little below the belt false advertising. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and the front desk had no options to move us to a room with a view... bummer read more

I can't comment on the hotel rooms, as I was only here for a 2-day conference, so I can only review those facilities. The location will eventually be ideal, on the shore of Lake Washington, right next to the Boeing plant on one side and a very nice park on the other. They will be offering a water taxi later this year (I believe). The reason I say "eventually" is because of the construction of an office building next door. Because of the construction, the parking is a little tricky to find. I chose to use the valet parking the first day ($11 + tip, because I was at a conference). The hotel is new and fresh and attractive. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked, but the ladies room on the 3rd floor only had a single towel dispenser for 6 sinks, on one side opposite 3 of those sinks. Why isn't there a 2nd towel dispenser? The conference rooms were clean, but the temperature was difficult to maintain. They were either freezing us out or it got so stuffy and hot. We had 2 catered meals. The buffet sandwich line was great, with lots of choices, and some pretty amazing chocolate chip cookies; the sit-down lunch of chicken caesar salad was not. The potato-leek soup was barely warm, and only 1 staff member was delivering the main course, so it took forever to be served. The salad itself was good, but we had to rush through it. The strawberry shortcake dessert was delicious. Even though the table was set for coffee, none was offered, nor any other drink other than water. I was underwhelmed. I wish I could have had the opportunity to stay the night, the rest of the facility (pool, exercise room, restaurant) looked very nice and I would have enjoyed trying them out. I've always had a pretty good stay at this hotel. I would not consider it a 4 star as the windows had spider webs and when I tried to open they were broken... there was a stain on the bathroom floor like it hadn't been cleaned from a coffee spill or worse the views are beautiful and the Staff has always been exceptional! The restaurant is okay for conversation and meeting friends but the food is just not wonderful. Staff again were all fantastic and the room was huge and beds comfy. I will stay again when the pricing is more reasonable. I don't think it warrants $350 a night and they were excellent about my service dog absolutely so issues. read more

For what they charge, it is not worth it. Our sheets had blood stains on them, and when we tried to call from the phone in our room no one answered. Tried multiple times in a span of an hour and still no response. Finally decided to go down to the lobby to ask them to change our sheets while we ate dinner and all they did was leave the sheets so we could make our own bed. So the wife and I have been able to spend two weekend in a row at this fabulous gem of a hotel. - Pros: 1. Staff is great! Vanessa and Alexis at the front desk were super helpful handling a few issues. Kelly in the Regency Club was amazing. Everyone was very helpful. 2. Location - Renton is not known as a "destination City", but whoever had the foresight to build at this location is a genius! Views are stunning. There is a great park right next door. An outdoor shopping center, with a 14 screen theater within a 10 minute walk. A Boeing 737 plant is right next door as well for any airplanes lovers. 3. Regency Club offers a wide assortment of snacks throughout the day, but you have to be a member or pay the day use charge. - Cons: 1. No room service. There is as "to-go" market on site that will deliver to your room, but the items were just "okay". You can get "to-go"orders from the on-site restaurant, but you have to go down to get them. 2. Construction Zone - An office complex is being built adjacent to the property. We didn't hear anything but there approach to the hotel is through a construction zone. Unless you have a lake view room, you may have a construction zone view. 3. Apartment complex - The lower floors, 4, 5 and 6, may be looking at an apartment complex. Just request floors 7 and above to have an unobstructed view. 4. Airplanes - If you love airplanes, then this won't be a con. Immediately next door is the Boeing 737 assembly plant and the Renton Municipal Airport. You will see an occasional unpainted 737 takeoff on its first flight as well as many other single and Multi-engine aircraft taking off and landing at Renton Field. An occasional seaplane can also be seen skimming the water on approach to the seaplane base. With all of this comes airplane noise. It starts at sunrise and goes pretty much all day. King Bed Lake View Deluxe room. Our first stay was in a King Bed Lake View Deluxe room. The view from this room is stunning! The sunset picture is from inside the room! IMHO, these lake side corner rooms offer the best view by far off any of the other rooms. The room is spacious and comfortable. It's the weather keeps you indoors, the 65" tv is a nice to have. The TV is connected using Google's Chromecast, which is great for Android phone users, not so much for Apple users. We travel with an apple TV so that didn't really bother us. The bathroom was quite large and had both a shower and deep soaking tub. Plenty of counter space as well. The room was laid out and had plenty of outlets and USB plugs for electronics. I loved the motion activated floor lights that would come on at night to light the way to the bathroom. Terrace Suite This last weekend we snagged one of the very limited terrace suites. It's looks like there are three suites on the terrace level, the eighth floor. We were able to look at two of them before deciding which to take for the weekend. 804 is HUGE! It boasts an eight person dining area, wet bar, sitting area, two 65" TV's, motorized drop-down curtains and a separate bedroom. 804 is on the inside so the view is limited. Since it was so big, we decided to check out 803 which was much smaller but had a better view overall view. What sets these two rooms apart is the terrace access, which I believe is only accessible if staying in one of the suites. The terrace would be perfect for a group of wanting a private'ish place to gather. (Keep in mind floors 9 to 12 look down onto the terrace. ) Since the weather is just starting to turn watch occasionally, I will not fault they hotel for the cleanliness of the terrace. I am sure the bird-poo covered rails, the multitude of spiderwebs, pollen covered tables and chairs will get more thoroughly cleaned as the weather encourages more guests to utilize the terrace. The only issues we had with 803 was the placement of the TV, the motorized blinds and the lack of the deep soaking tub. Based on the layout of the bathroom, there was no place to put the tub. The TV placement, as you can see from the attached pic blocks most of the view, could easily been solved with smaller TV placed in a TV lift cabinet. A healthy chunk of money was spent on motorized blinds, that are quite frustrating I might add, so a lift shouldn't be that difficult to put in the budget. Speaking of the motorized blinds, someone needs to created a guide to explain which freaking combination of buttons will get the blinds to do what you want then to do!! That's all I got! Loved this property! Would book again! absolutely. Rooms had everything you would expect of a Hyatt. I spent most my time working and lounging in front of the lake. It was lovely. The restaurant had many vegan options which was a perk. I enjoyed this location so much I didn't even leave the property for anything. Note: front desk staff seem really young and inexperienced. My son just turned 16, so after this long pandemic and being cooped up I decided to have a staycation with my kiddos. We reserved one of the executive suites as well as a lake front view. And let me tell you, the lake front view was breath taking! Both rooms were very modernized, with a glass shower, in the suite. A huge tub in the lake front room. Flat screen tv's, comfortable beds. The front desk staff was extremely nice. Not the cheapest hotel but definitely worth the money. The pool is small but still a vibe. The parking garage is free on the weekend, other wise you have to pay. Our check in was almost an hour late in the suite and our check out time was still at 11. But all in all a great experience and we will definitely be returning. read more

Shiny, sleek and new, this is a very nice hotel for a business trip or networking opportunity. We booked a room in the hopes of a romantic one-night getaway. We very much enjoyed ourselves, but it really didn't suit our desires. First off, we got a screaming deal through booking.com and discovered that not every room has a nice view. That was ok since we weren't planning to look out the window. Our room was very nicely appointed with a lovely king bed and very enticing shower. The hotel seems to be focused on the lobby and spa areas. The pool and hot tub area were great. I took a walk through the ballroom and event space, and it was very nice. The Water's Table Restaurant was very lively. For private intimacy, though, the hotel was lacking. Designed with a complete lack of any room service options, one of us had to go downstairs to get our French fries and bottle of wine. Then another trip down for a corkscrew since the bottle was unopened. Overall a very nice place to stay and appreciate the lake view in a busy, social setting. For a romantic getaway or staycation, though, it was rather sterile. read more

This is a posh modern hotel quite minimalist and elegant. So minimalist in fact that when I got to my Room neither television or the phone worked. The elevators also take a little getting used to. There are no buttons inside the elevators. One has to select one's floor preference on the keypad in the hallway before stepping into the elevator car. This seems very wasteful of energy as it generates a lot more solo elevator rides. When the elevators get crowded at the end of each conference I'll be taking the stairs I expect and getting some cardio. Always look on the bright side is my motto although I do draw the line at no TV OK. Another reason to be unhappy. Most hotels let you order Room service at night for the following morning. I find this very useful. The morning coffee comes to my door and wakes me up. I don't care what the service charge is - this is extremely helpful especially if I cross timezones. This hotel does not take pre orders for Room service the night before. AT $250 A NIGHT I CONSIDER THIS UNACCEPTABLE. read more

I was here for a conference, but did not stay at the hotel. Therefore my review is of the conference / meeting ammenities, food, and staff. Everyone I came in contact with was amazingly friendly, helpful, and courteous. We were served a breakfast buffet, Lunch, and 2 snacks. So much food I was stuffed and the quality was very good as well! I have been to lots of conferences were the food it mediocre and this was top notch in comparrison. The facilities themselves were vast and new so no complaints there, even in a conference full of nurses (mostly female) the line at the bathrooms was never too long. The view was so nice! I am not sure why but they had the side doors to the outside locked, so on breaks we had to walk out to another area, but it was so nice to have this little boardwalk to walk on and get fresh air during breaks. If my conference returns in the future I will splurge and stay here as well. My only complaint, and this will get better - was the access by vehicle. There was construction going on, and once I finally got through it to the parking garage, the signage for where to go was not very clear. read more

I had an allergic reaction here from their oatmeal raisin cookie... they use crushed walnuts in their cookies... so watch out! We stayed here for a long weekend on 1/13-15/18. Very pleased and enjoyed the newly open luxurious hotel at the Washington Lake. It's convenient to the neighboring, very charming, the Landing, and enjoy and wonderful foods there. It's also next to the enjoyable Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park. We have viewed Lake Washington from the deck at back of the Hotel. Airport is just 15 min away, so is Downtown Renton and its shopping mall. The Hotel has a huge and beautiful lobby, entrance and halls, good for meeting/conference and certainly for wedding occasion. The hotel has a high tech oriented elevator: a touch pad operating design. Very impressive. Our bedroom was large with two beds, sitting area, modern/open closet, and modern bathroom. The Hotel has no self-park (not yet, according to the Hotel), $15 a day for valet parking is quick and responsive. It's favorable in comparison to the self-parking in other hotels in Seattle which would charge for $25 and above. Our TV in room kept on "malfunctioning" during our stay, it's annoying a bit. However, we have enjoyed the two-day's stay. read more

Stayed here for New Years and they gave me memories I'll have for life. They handed out kazoos and hats for New Years which was so fun! The breakfast here is incredible too, they had an omelette bar that day with all the fixins'! Plus it is located on the water so you get an incredible view while eating. Came here recently for a Yelp event. We were treated to a mini tour of the hotel, and a sampling of their menu while seated on their deck. The hotel is situated in a prime location with a perfect view of Lake Washington. In the summer, the deck would be perfect for an event. In the winter, if they could put fire pits outside it could be cozy. It was overcast when I was there, so made the view less interesting. I felt the chef was creative with the tasting menu. The duck was the low point. It was served rare, and no one at my table ate it. I needed to get cash to tip the valet. ATM had a $6 fee! Get cash beforehand! read more

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times (and loved it), but never again. Upon check-in, I was informed they could not find my reservation and I was instructed to wait in the lobby (for approximately an hour) while they searched for it. They let me know they couldn't find my reservation, and would just book me a new room. Okay great. I was scheduled to stay three nights, however when I arrived back on the second night-my key did not work. I was then informed that my reservation was only for two nights (the new reservation they made me, as my original one I showed them was for three nights). All my personal items were still on the room and I had to be escorted by security to the room, who watched me while I packed up all my items, and then they escorted me out. This was an embarrassing experience and after how I was treated, I will definitely be sharing my experience with my colleagues to ensure no one else stays here. read more

Uhmmm why am I just now finding out about this hotel?! By far one of the best experiences I've ever had with a hotel. My husband and I stayed here for a little staycation for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Not only did the have phenomenal service, but the views are outstanding, the gym is better than my gym back home & the breakfast buffet was on POINT. I will say though that their website states that the Market is open 24/7. When my husband went to buy a bottle of water, someone in the back said that they were closed. It was only 11pm at night so I thought that was odd; maybe because it was NYE? Not annoyed enough to affect my star rating. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely come back :) read more

Ok where do I start lol... So our waiter was ok, very nice and polite. Drinks were great! Food was crap, or maybe I just ordered the wrong items. Clam chowder was okay, thinking it should be served in a smaller bowl, served in a large bowl but not large portion at all. Crab cakes probably need to be cooked a little longer to have a crisp taste... definitely needs improving on taste as well especially since they charge $16 for one. Oysters were disappointing. I ordered two different kinds, usually the waiter explains which is which so you'll know the difference in taste. Presentation was horrible, looked like they went out caught them fresh out the water and THROUGH them on a plate of ice. Very disappointing. My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary so we decided to book a room for a couple nights. We booked a 1 King Lake View Deluxe room on their website 2 weeks in advance and everything was confirmed. When we got to the hotel and checked in, we were told that the room type we booked was all sold out. So, normally if this type of inconvenience happens the hotel should comp or offer an upgraded alternative. They seemed unapologetic and gave us a key for a partial lake view room which was way smaller than the one we originally wanted. We went to the room but realised this wasn't right. We returned to front desk and requested that we get a different room. Front desk was still unapologetic and a manager came over, looked on the computer, then gave us a key for the original room we wanted in the first place. Still no apologies. So the room WASN'T sold out? Or did one magically appear within 5 minutes? I feel like we went through unnecessary confusion and just didn't appreciate how the staff handled it. read more

We're local residents who went for the Sunday buffet. It was good, bacon a little too crisp for some people's liking tho. We were really wishing they had a Belgian waffler and/or an omelet chef. The weekend brunch seemed a bit sparse, and they stopped replenishing the selection in the hour before buffet end time. The bad: The valet parking is terrible. We pulled up next the the valet stand, and the young man there was completely oblivious to our presence. It was confusing - we weren't sure what to do, as there were about 7 cars there waiting, with the drivers all looking as confused as we did. When it came time to retrieve our car after brunch, we encountered the same confusion - the puzzled look on the valet's face made us feel like we were doing something wrong. We told him we were ready for our car, and he looked at us like we were from outer space. I know they're probably still working the bugs out, but valet service shouldn't be that hard to get nailed down. read more

Stayed here for 5 days over the New Years weekend and it was as unfortunately a bad stay. This hotel isn't ready for guests even though they've been open since July or so. At first we were to get a lake view room which we didn't get, then, the plumbing backed up. Lastly, they had no parking so we were left to valet at a hefty fee. Had I known this place was gonna be a bad experience I would have stayed somewhere else. I also complained directly to Hyatt and I have yet to hear back. I don't recommend this hotel. There are plenty in and around the area with much better service for guests. read more

One of our best hotel experiences. We are visiting Seattle for the first time and had more fun eating breakfast at the hotel and letting the kids play in the pool than visiting the city. We also enjoyed the park next to the hotel and glad we had the boys bring their fishing poles so they could fish off of the doc. It is January and we lucked out with the weather. The sun was out in the 50's during the day. The hotel is brand new and amazingly clean, tidy, and due to the off season, very affordable. Service was great. Remember to bring your tip money because it's valet only due to construction. Also, the restaurant had the best breakfast ever however was expensive, but worth it. read more
