Only ONE elevator of 3 working, for a property of several hundreds of rooms! 75+ degrees in all common areas and the dining room. Zero initiative or urgency by the staff to get an elevator repair company out pronto. It's been two days with only one elevator working out of three, and long lines waiting to take one elevator stopping at every single floor in a hot elevator. My king bed had queen sheets that didn't cover the mattress and I had to call down to get them changed to the correct sheets, unreal. Mobile check-in in the Marriott Bonvoy app doesn't work for this property. All of the hydration stations were broken and the glass "vases" you're supposed to use to get water were all dirty. No one ever picks up the phone from an outside line. Extremely lethargic staff that seem to be very lazy and have no care in the world. Air conditioner shuts off after you leave the room so if you're gone for a few hours you come back to the room being hot and it takes over an hour to cool back down. Overpriced Valet and overpriced hotel. Very low end service and experience. Aesthetically a nice looking property but all these mishaps should NOT happen! read more

Great price for the location and amenities! Walkable to great restaurants and the mall. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was on the smaller side but had everything we needed. AC worked great, two out of the three elevators were still down so that was a bummer but luckily we were only on the 3rd floor so it didn't bug us too much. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Loved my short stay at this hotel! Was only here for 1 night but would totally return if I come back to the area. Pros: - Super convenient and walkable location, really close to restaurants, dessert places, and parks - Awesome room with modern, and calming with muted colors and recessed lighting. - Nicely lit restroom with rainfall + hand-held shower heads, nice water pressure. Plenty of space near the sink to lay out all your toiletries :) - the bed was more on the firm side (yes!!!) and the sheets were silky and comfortable -- super nice settling in for the night ^_^ - In room fridge and safe - 24/7 clean and basic gym - Coffee in the lobby (and occasionally, cookies!). Lobby is also nice to sit in if waiting to check in or for people - Friendly staff! - Bag check: I like how they store your bags right behind the front desk instead of in a room somewhere else. It felt safer / nice to see my bags (and pastries!), haha~ Cons: - Tiny bottle of lotion, would be nice to have a full size one to reduce waste as well - view from the room wasn't great with nearby construction, but that's not really their fault! - the fridge was cold but think it was de-icing, as it had icicles at the top and there were big drops of water on whatever I put in the fridge - the valet area always seemed disorganized with cars parked at weird angles and the street being closed too. Hard for cars to get in and out - if anyone has some problems walking, the entrance is near an uphill slope so might be hard to get up / down Overall, loved my stay and wished I stayed longer! Just recently stayed in June 2025. We literally moved to 3 different rooms and they were all very warm with the air conditioning not functioning even after the engineer came to "fix" it, the fan turned on but not the compressor so it was just circulating warm air. After the 3rd room, we gave up and just dealt with it for the 2 nights we stayed. It's a nice hotel with friendly staff but not very comfortable when the rooms are warm in the summer. read more

I've stayed here twice now - once in April '24 and again in July '24. While the AC itself has a great gym, clean rooms, and is quiet - their food and wine program is also fantastic. Highly recommend their buffet breakfast. Aside from the hotel, the neighborhood is clean, safe, quiet and near so many great restaurants and shopping. Only downside staying here is that Ubers in the Seattle area are outrageously expensive, however do prefer staying in Bellevue versus Seattle proper due to crime and safety (and being a woman traveling here in business). read more

Great hotel with clean, sleek, & classy style throughout. I especially enjoyed the free Starbucks Coffee in the lobby each morning! They have all the necessary amenities like coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron, toiletries, mini fridge and a safe. The laminate floor was a plus vs carpet... I hate gross hotel carpet I loved the shower with a giant "rainbath" shower head Only thing is the ice-maker and water dispenser was so hard to operate you couldn't just place your water bottle to full it but they had a canisters for us to use. Even then it spilled water everywhere and the sensor didn't work properly. Oh well... minor, 1st world problem The location is GREAT! I walked everywhere and was happy to find H-Mart, Safeway, AND Trader Joe's ( this was a bit of a hike at 20 minutes... about 0.8 mile). Uber ride to the airport was about $66. (30 min away). Beautiful buildings all around and a nice size park nearby too. I'd love to stay here again when I'm back in town. Thank you! read more

This was a calm and clean hotel to stay at versus staying in downtown Seattle. Our stay was back in late January, therefore it was near freezing temperatures, but luckily no snow. We did have difficulties finding the main entrance as there was only one small AC Hotel sign on the corner (heading down an alleyway). Our initial response was, "I don't know, is this the front? Where's the valet? Let's drive around again." I hate to say this, but minus one star right off the bat. They need a grand Vegas style entrance lol, or something that shouts "Main Entrance" or "Check-in" counter. We were perplexed. Second time around, we finally see a valet guy. He helped us with our bags and set them on a cart. No bellhops were available. Although I'm not sure if things have changed now, but its pretty much self-service here. Checking in was a breeze with the front desk guy wearing glasses (I forgot his name). But in general, throughout our entire trip the staff at the front desk and at the bar were welcoming and very attentive. They all seemed very helpful and happy to be there even with things being slow and quiet. The room we had was a corner room. It was pretty small, but spacious enough for our dog. Maybe the corner rooms are designated as the pet rooms, idk. But for the most part, the bed and bathroom was clean. Loved the new modern look to it in general. No real closet, just a pole to hang clothes. Flatscreen, fridge, safe, and bed side lamps. It was comforting and served it's purpose. Overall, would I stay again at this hotel? Yes! Pricing is not the cheapest in town, but I did feel safe walking my dog around. I mean geez, it's Bellevue. The main entrance sucked, but the staff members were outstanding. The room was satisfying, that even our dog loved it. As far as food, they didn't really have a continental breakfast style, but then again, things may have changed or opened up now versus when I last was there. Hotel is very nice, updated, close to old Bellevue and its downtown which means you are only 5 to 7 min walk away from nice restaurants, parks etc. The staff aren't super friendly; don't acknowledge any loyalty status with regards to welcome reward points etc. Not cheap but not super expensive; the rooms are updated, modern. Edit: I am downgrading my into oak review m; I asked the staff to make sure I get housekeeping, since the housekeeper outside my room told me "you aren't on my list"; I came back after a long day, my bed wasn't made, two dirty towels kn the floor (I left them there so they can be replaced), water bottles not replaced etc. very disappointed. This hotel has so much potential, but it's very poorly run. The driveway was packed and there was no where to park even for 5 minutes so my husband went to find parking a block away while I checked in. As I was about to walk into the hotel I noticed a garbage can that was overflowing with garbage, it was disgusting. This was the quickest check-in I've ever had at a Marriott property. Usually the front desk agent will let me know where the amenities are and since I have Gold Elite status with Marriott Bonvoy they would thank me for my loyalty, but this girl just asked for my ID and credit card then sent me on my way. Every time I walked by the front desk she'd be on her cellphone and quickly hide it once she realized a guest was watching her. Our room was cozy, but the tv just had a generic message on it. The room was a bit dark and one of the lightbulbs next to the bed was burnt out. We had a view of a construction site where we watched huge rats run around. read more

For an impromptu babymoon and escape from the 100 degree heatwave of weather our stay at the AC Hotel was great. My husband found it last minute considering most of WA residents from Bellingham to Olympia were booking reservations. I really like the location as it's centrally located within Bellevue allowing for quick walks to restaurants, and two shopping centers. As the other reviewers stated the parking garage is fairly tight, simply park your car in the parking lot next to the building if you're seeking additional space. My husband parked there all 3 nights and not one person or vehicle came close to it. Overall atmosphere is very modern, and clean; I have no complaints and would stay again. read more

I reserved two rooms, online, one with mobility accessibility for my sister and the other for hubby and me and I requested adjoining rooms so we could help my sister or chat with her. It's a bit tricky to get into the street where the hotel is located as it is on a small street with only a sign which says AC Lounge as have passed it the first and second night of our stay and we still have 3 more days to go. Valet parking for $39 is available and a necessity for us as my sister has mobility issues and needs a cane to get around. I had chatted on the mobile app about getting adjoining rooms the day before our arrival and they were able to get a mobility accessible room adjacent to our room. My sister had a king bed in her room and ours had a queen and they were located only a few steps from the elevator. The rooms have only 2 small drawers and a small area for hanging up clothes, a safe, a refrigerator with two complimentary water bottles, a hot shot for hot water. The room is just right for the two of us and the bathroom has a big rain shower head as well as a handheld shower head and I love the citrus scent of the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. It smells so clean and fresh. The room is basic with minimal frills. This is a pet friendly hotel, and there is treat jar for pets! Olga was very helpful when we checked in and the only thing is that we had a hard time understanding what she was telling us as English we believe is her second language. The first morning we were here I went to the 24 hour fitness center located on the lobby level and it's great with water available, towels, sanitizing wipes, complimentary ear phones in case you don't have any, and my favorite props like the stability, medicine and bosu ball as well as free weights. I'm not much for machines but I do enjoy doing balancing and core exercises. The bosu ball needs more air in it though and should be checked periodically. Then we had their buffet breakfast which was $22 a person which includes, juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, deli meats, pastries, english muffin with sausage or ham, tea, hot oatmeal, milk, almond milk, yogurt, all kinds of fresh fruit like strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, bananas, which all made for a healthy meal or not! Also there's a microwave and ice machine (called the hydration station) available on every floor for your convenience. So far, we are enjoying our stay! read more

This is a newer hotel and I think it opened in 2017, so overall, everything looks fairly new still. The location is a little more off the beaten path than the Hyatt Regency we stayed at where we could literally walk a block and get to many of the shops and restaurants, but it wasn't far from their either and if you're willing to walk a mile or more, you can get there just as easily. I'm giving this location low stars because service was always pretty poor. When we arrived, we asked the valet if they had self parking, but they only had valet at $39 a night. That's pretty steep, so we decided to park across the street where if you enter after 3pm and leave before noon the next day, it was only $18. Since we did that both nights we stayed there, we decided to just park literally across the street and save more than half the parking fee. Also, everyone we spoke to at the hotel, from the valet to the different front desk people weren't exactly helpful or friendly. There was an issue with the Internet the first night we arrived, but they let us know that when we checked in. And then there was an issue getting a receipt when we checked out. For the poor service and high parking fee, I wouldn't stay here again. read more

They also had Soymilk in the morning to use with Starbucks coffee which was great. Michelle H helped me locate the Soymilk and she was super friendly and personable. She also provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Additionally, everyone was super friendly and the hotel was clean. Some recommendations that I think would really take this hotel to the next level: portable desks & more vegan options for breakfast. Even including something simple like peanut butter for vegans makes a big difference! But overall the team seemed like a big family working together and it was nice to see the camaraderie! Comfortable stay at the heart of Bellevue. There are plenty of restaurants and shops and things to do nearby. I was impressed with the entirety of the hotel and fitness room, which were kept very clean. Rooms were comfortable, and the AC worked well, but I was annoyed that the bathroom and bed area weren't separated by a closeable door. The only thing I hated about the hotel was the expensive parking per night rate, and above all, the very loud, screechy sound the garage doors made all throughout the night, which I could hear from my second floor room. The screeches were super loud and sound a lot like screaming so it freaks you out every time you're woken up by the sound of the garage. Or maybe it was the sound of the elevator? I didn't ask for a different room since I only stayed two nights but next time I think I'll ask for a room in floors above the 2nd. read more

Enjoyed my stay here. It is so close to the mall and the beautiful park. There is great food options everywhere. The front staff is very cool and the breakfast is better than most AC buffets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Not only are they practicing all the necessary COVID-19 procedures, the location couldn't be more perfect in terms of walkability to restaurants and shopping. We stuck to take-out, but there were quite a few spots offering patio and limited indoor options too. The rooms were not only spacious, but super clean. We of course did a quick wipe/spray down to be extra careful, but loved that there were plenty of plays to store our items, and the room itself was nicely updated. Because it's a pandemic, there's no daily housekeeping to limit the interactions you have with people. We were A-OK with that. The staff were all overly friendly and quick to answer any questions we had during our stay. Parking is $25/night and is located in their underground secured lot. For those that crave the creature comforts of streaming their favorite shows while on-the-go, they have Netflix, Showtime, Youtube, and a few other options to log-in to. If you're looking for something nice and Seattle adjacent without being in the actual city, I'd for sure recommend this spot to stay. read more

We had a group with multiple rooms. A few of the rooms had random charges like food charges that no one ever purchased. Housekeeping was unpredictable. Would replace towels but not empty trash or get rid of dirty glasses and used coffees pods. Floors are not being mopped and are sticky and visibly dirty. I had to go to Bellevue for a few days for a "house hunting" trip, and I'm so glad the AC fit into my per diem amount. Comparing to other hotels in the area, this one was extremely nice and pretty affordable. Loved the wood floors in the room, and the entire modern decor in the room and around the building. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Parking is a bit high ($30 a day for overnight valet), but it's downtown so it's expected. The location was great as I was able to walk and go grab a bite, instead of having to drive around downtown, especially when I was done for the day and needed a break from the car. If I had to stay in Bellevue again, I would definitely go to the AC. read more

Yelp changed its ratings (which I don't approve of, as a former university teacher distressed by grade inflation). 5 stars used to be "as good as it gets." Now within that rating, I would say "as good as it gets FOR the price point/claims made." 5 star doesn't mean fine dining, necessarily. But now Yelp 5 star is "great" not "life-altering." Or even "best in class." By the new rating system, a 5 star in spite of the lack of bathtub. I am so sad that new hotels are building fancy showers and bathrooms with no tub. Tubs are ESSENTIAL (for pain relief, relaxation, and much more). By the old rating, based on value, 4.5 stars. My cousin booked this hotel for an insane rate (127). But more than fair at 200. Service: A+ Bed: A+ (the mattress and bedding wonderful). Amenities: excellent free coffee in the lobby, lovely happy hour, terrific gym. BUT BUY FOAM ROLLERS. 20 to 25 bucks on Amazon tops. Essential!!! I love this hotel and it's easy to walk everywhere, including Lake Washington, if you have no car. A really great hotel. read more

I felt like a king with her & her team's service. I stayed for a month so I truly got to know the hotel well. Everyone working here is top notch - whoever did the hiring and training did a great job! The rooms are quiet, clean, and well designed. I didn't hear my neighbors at all, which is rare to find. It's also super close to everything you need in downtown Bellevue. WARNING *** I would not recommend this place to anyone... I had one of if not the worst experience here as a guest and they will definitely not get a second chance. Me and my fiance were celebrating her 30th birthday with a road trip and the AC hotel in Bellevue Washington was one of our stops. Hotel policy is that keys must be left with the valet person when parked out front but i was unaware. All we were doing was checking into our rooms when the valet guys begins telling me that he needs my keys. I didn't want to do valet so I told him no and wanted to check in first. He then begins to become frustrated by saying he needs my keys and nothing else. I told him that he was not getting my keys and we ensue in a yelling match. Come to find out later that this guy was the valet manager, which was unbelievable. This person is put in charge but doesn't know how to relay simple information that could have prevented the whole scenario. Because of this instant, I did not feel comfortable handing over my keys to a confrontational employee given that I was worried something may happen in their hands. This resulted in us having to park 3 blocks down the street and carry our luggage to and from our cars in the humidity. Horrible experience and nothing was done to accommodate our stay or correct the poor customer service. I did not stay at this hotel. My review is based solely on logistics. My company had a block of rooms here for an event. I was to deliver welcome bags for those staying here and coordinated with the front desk dropping them off along with the guest list and handing them out. When I arrived at the hotel, I discovered that the front entrance is in the alley, not on the main street. There is no parking, so I parked a block away in a paid lot that didn't have any indication how to pay for the lot and carried two large boxes filled with gift bags to the hotel. Then I found out that the only way to get to the lobby was via an elevator or stairs, it's not on the ground level. Marriott could definitely improve the signage for drivers and guests so they know where the entrance and main lobby are located. read more

Buffet section included sliced meats/cheese, yogurt, pastries, fruit, oatmeal, coffee/tea/espresso and 3 ala carte items which are included in the price. The good 1) There are multiple switches so you can turn the same light off/on from a few diff places. 2)Many of the outlets have USB outlets incorporated. 3) TV has Netflix and other apps built in. Log in credentials get removed upon checkout. The bad 1) No room service. 2) The toilet is huge! My 4 and 6 year old daughters needed help so they wouldn't fall into the toilet. 3) No tun if you're a soaker. read more

5/30/2019 Perfect location, smacked in middle of downtown Bellevue. Tons of cafes , restaurants in walking distance. Even the Downtown Park is walking distance from here. So we arrived at the valet around 6 pm, a nice young man came up to us and took care of our car for us for the valet parking. No problem whatsoever very easy and smooth. We walked into the lobby and greeted by a friendly front staff named Josh. Check in was smooth and he gave us a room with a bathtub when I requested it. Very nice. Lobby , the bar , the gym and the business center ( called the library here ) are all very impressively immaculately clean and nice modern decor sort of minimalist decor which I love. We got a room on the sixth floor and the view at night is romantic with all the lights from the high buildings. The room is clean and I love the hardwood floor, clean simple modern minimalist decor, beds are comfy, the room is pretty good size and spacious bathroom with plenty counter space. The bar is very stylish. It happened to be a jazz night here at the hotel bar. It was pretty cool. Staff here are friendly and helpful. A valet staff , front desk staff and a bartender were all very pleasant. I'd definitely stay here again if ever in this area again. Only con is no microwave in the room. Also no pool no jacuzzi but I'm assuming it's more of a business hotel because of the location so it's understandable. The location and the service make up for it. read more
