I stayed here for two nights. My only complaint is the noise. My room was across from the elevator and I could hear everything. Being a Thursday, there was nearly no noise. But on the Friday, it was a lot. I don't know if I'd stay here on a weekend due to the noise, but on a weekday I absolutely would. Great value for money. I stayed here for 2 nights last week and enjoyed it. Spacious room, nice hot shower, friendly and kind front desk staff, free breakfast, nice little kitchenette with its own sink, microwave, and mini-fridge. From the outside, the hotel looks a little old and worn, but the inside is modern and clean and kept up nicely. The hotel is in a pleasant part of Redmond, right next to a Whole Foods and across the street from a massive Fred Meyer (like, seriously, the largest Fred Meyer I've ever seen), and not far from a strip mall with dining options (I recommend Kanishka). You could probably get by with public transport, but I recommend having a car. A few small complaints: 1) My room was a little dark and gloomy since the overhead light was pretty weak. But if you're not around much during the day anyway, it doesn't really matter. 2) The desk chair was really uncomfortable, so keep that in mind if you're trying to work here. 3) It didn't seem very quiet -- lots of chatter in the lobby kept me up one night (I was in the room just above the lobby though). Not sure how great the sound insulation is. All in all, a great stay and I would happily go back. read more

Pulling up to the hotel, it looks like it hasn't been updated in a while from the outside. not necessarily bad, just looks "lived in". Inside is nice, and pretty typical of hotels. I was able to check in early around 1PM since there weren't a ton of people staying the night before, which was nice since I had just spent 4 hours in a car. The young woman working the front desk was very kind and cordial. Got me all set up and I was in the room. Room is cozy! A little small, but for what I need it will do. Bed was very comfortable and I slept like a rock. I was pooped after a long day at work. Room has a fridge and microwave which is always a plus! Keurig in the room for morning coffee, and a little kitchenette area. TV options were ok. I'm not a huge TV guy, but I didn't bring any other entertainment with me, so that's what I did at night. Nothing on! Not their fault, obviously, just wish I had brought a tablet or something. I'd definitely stay here again. Nothing to knock your socks off, but a solid and very sleepable room. If I stay more than one night in the future, I'll have to explore further. read more

Decent accommodations near the highway and a pancake house if you don't want to take advantage of their free breakfast. The dining options could be upgraded, for example, replace 1 of the 3 waffle makers with sausage/bacon/hot eggs. Replace the coffee cups with a bigger sized cup. Not sure if all rooms are the same but our door had a 1 inch gap at the bottom. Things like this make me nervous like a Peeping Tom can slide a camera through. TIP If you decide to stay here & the front desk assign you room 202, ask for a change or somewhere on the top floor. Room 202 is above the lobby, next to the elevator, and you can hear the floor creaking from guests above you. read more

We stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms were a good size and had a spacious bathroom. However, the elevator was broken and we had 3 large bags and were in the 3rd floor. Upon arriving at the 3rd floor there was trash scattered all over the area outside the elevator and a room near ours was totally trashed. Door open with drug paraphernalia on the counter. Every time we came back from dinner or an outing there were several people smoking weed near the entrance or loitering about. I did not feel safe here and will not be returning. read more

I've never been to Redmond, WA. But anytime I go back, I will stay at the Redmond Inn. The staff was outstanding, the facilities were (took advantage of the laundry room and breakfast), and rooms were clean and beds beyond comfortable! I got in late and my check in was quick and easy, a bonus for a weary traveler. The location is also close to great restaurants and shopping. With easy access to the interstate, you can be headed south to Seattle or north to a Vancouver in no time! Bonus: there is the Redmond Pancake House on the premises which has an extensive menu (I recommend the banana French toast) and is a short walk from the hotel. Plus, the hotel gives a discount at the restaurant with your room. I was in town for business and I stayed at this hotel for only one night and immediately checked out the next day. The hotel room is extremely over priced for the area and the advertise free breakfast. I paid over 300.00 for the night and breakfast was horrible and nothing special. The room was not clean, there was a ring around the bathtub, the floor was sticky and the towels were still wet. The next day I checked into the Hampton Inn and it was cheaper, cleaner and had the best HOT breakfast. read more

When I visit Seattle on holiday, I find it an expensive town for accommodation in general. The influence of being a corporate town perhaps? I tend to stay on the east side as it's generally cheaper and the freeways get me quickly around town. So when I spotted a good deal on Expedia for the Redmond Inn, I snapped it up. Redmond Inn is just off the 520 but beware that signposting is rather non-existent while upgrading work on the freeway takes place. There is ample parking around the 2 buildings which make up the accomodation blocks. Check in was fast and efficient and the front desk staff were always full of advice and information. There are local maps available if you ask them and they will happily print out driving instructions to any local attractions/amenities that you want. There are bagels available in the mornings and cookies and real popped popcorn from a cart in the afternoon. Coffee is also available in the lobby. Included with all stays is a complimentary continental breakfast at the adjacent Family Pancake House. Alternatively, you can get $2 off any hot item with the breakfast coupon. My room was comfortable and clean. Housekeeping was good. There was a good size TV with a nice range of channels, a fridge and separate sink. There was also a work desk and multiple power sockets available. The free wifi did waver a bit in strength but I managed to use my iPhone to surf the web quiet successfully. There is also a free computer for use in the lobby with printing facilities. I didn't use the small outdoor swimming pool as the weather wasn't great but I did use the indoor spa pool. All in all, a nice pleasant hotel which I shall use again if the price is right. They also run a loyalty scheme for free nights if you run up enough nights here. read more

I work for a local company who has always booked out of town guests here and I've never heard too much about their stay either way. I stayed here for two nights over this past weekend when my mom came into town for a visit and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Because I know the manager we were upgraded to a suite (two full rooms) for the same low nightly rate of $109. It is really the way to go! The free breakfast in the morning is quite complete (yogurt, juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs, toast, muffins, pastries & make your own waffles/pancakes) which saves you the hassle and cost of going out. If you were interested in a complete, proper breakfast you always having the option of walking across the parking lot to the Family Pancake House which is always great. I really only have one negative comment and the issue was fixed right away. The water pressure in our shower was very low and at one point just stopped and turned ice cold. A quick call to the front desk and the problem was corrected. The people at the front desk were VERY helpful and accommodating. The cookies upon arrival was also a nice touch and very tasty. If you're looking for an inexpensive but clean & friendly hotel, this is the place to go. Its 2 minutes from 520 and about the same distance (driving) to Redmond Towne Center . read more

I want to like this place. Nice furnishing, helpful staff. I stayed downstairs, first floor at the end of the hall. The walls were like paper. Worse, so was the ceiling. It sounded like an army of hippos were dancing upstairs. Somehow, I was stuck with a hot tub room-- and I didn't use it. WiFi was awful, but you can directly connect to Ethernet-- which mostly works. One gets the feeling it's all a shared DSL connection and aperiodically slow. Breakfast is about La Quinta level although you can make waffles. Most selections aren't monitored in the breakfast, so expect outages of things you might have liked if someone would just refill a bin or two. The price of the Redmond Inn is much less than the competition, and saving these faults, it was a decent night rest. Bring your earplugs. To people that called the breakfast spread amazing, I'm truly surprised at this observation. Just stay upstairs and remember to ask for an Ethernet cable. There are LOTS of breakfast places (including a pancake house adjacent, a Peet's, Whole Foods, etc) as an alternative to the breakfast offered. read more

Unreliable internet. Tiny gym with broken equipment. Sound travels too well through the walls. The rooms are clean enough and the staff seem friendly. At 1am the person above me woke me up. They weren't doing anything abnormal- just walking around. But the walls creaked and the ceiling thumped like a drum. I didn't get to sleep again until they stopped moving. Over the last several weeks, we were lucky enough to stay at this hotel. We were relocating my mother back to PNW and needed a place to stay during the transition. She is suffering from early onset Alzheimer's and we needed comfortable surroundings where she felt safe for the transition. It was the single most important thing for our family that she feel safe and comfortable. The management and staff were absolutely amazing. What started out as a short stay to transition my mom into a permanent solution turned into a few weeks stay and I could not be happier. The level of compassion, care and service this team offered us was unexpected and amazing. They went above and beyond the call to make sure my mom was comfortable and felt safe. I stayed here over the weekend for an event in town. Staff is very friendly, in particular Gen, very professional and nice. Upon entering the room we noticed it was nice and clean. The room was located near the freeway side, which didn't bother us too much. The thing I hated about this room was the paper thin walls. I was constantly being woken up by the people above me, I heard them walking around at all hours of the night. Not their fault but the walls are made very poorly. The little kitchenette was nice, along with the Keurig. Free coffee, tea, espresso in the lobby 24 hours was nice. I didn't get to attend the breakfast because I wasn't awake that early, I was trying to recover from the sleep I lost from the noise upstairs. All in all if it weren't for the paper thin walls I would consider staying here again. This will be my first and last stay. read more

My main issue wtih this hotel is the lack of organization. I checked in late for an unplanned stay. I was hungry and tired and I mentioned this during the call to make the reservation AND at the front desk. There is a restaurant across from the lobby - but no menu in my room. I called the front desk and asked the man working there for one....but not only did he sound put out by my request, he never showed up. Some time later I went to get the munu myself and he apologized and made a comment about "needing to finish this first." I am sure he had other responsabilities but I mentioned that I didn't know how late the restaurant was going to be open and from his startled glance at the clock it was clear he forgot about that. !! When I got back to my room the menu had no times or phone number for the restaurant (?), sure enough it was closed. He clearly realized this when he looked at the clock after my statement - but he didn't tell me when I was standing in front of him? Really? I asked for an alternative and was told "I don't know...Subway?" Really??? I ultimately checked Yelp and had a great (if heavy) dinner at the Redmond bar and grill (see review). No information was given to me about a breakfast - you would think that under the above circumstances they would have mentioned that? Additionally I called ahead and made a reservation, but when I arrived the woman at the desk didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned the yelp discount. I ended up getting a better discount another way - but it was 10 minutes since I made the reservation. ???? Otherwise the room was well above average, very clean and well organized. The price is competitive. The staff is pleasant at least. Under normal curcumstances this place would be a 4 star, but communicating with guests is not optional for a hotel!! read more

We drove up from California and stayed here and it was was better than we imagined it to be. The rooms were awesome and very clean. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows and they give you lots! And we loved the early check in! Driving from ca we weren't sure what time we'd get in but with a 2am check in time it makes it awesome! Continental breakfast was good and the shower was nice and hot....couldn't ask for more and they have a very affordable room rate. We'll definitely be back! Also, the location is great too. Let me start out by saying that I am a hotel snob. Maybe my standards are too high, but when I pay $160/night for a hotel, I expect better. The shower had not been properly cleaned (I have a pixie haircut and there was 12" hair on the walls) and there was someone else's "stains" on the comforter. Clearly it had not been changed out between guests even though I was told that "all the comforters are freshly laundered" when I asked and had a new one delivered. My window did not have a screen or lock (real safe). I would've liked a better breakfast offering. It was all starches and very few protein options. This is more of a pet peeve than an issue, but the exhaust fan ran constantly in the bathroom, so you will have to keep the door closed if that bugs you. Bottom line: this is only 2 nights into my 5 night stay and I'm not thrilled. I'm giving it a 1 star because 1) value. This hotel is more expensive than the Marriott down the street that I had been previously staying at (I had to leave because they were full up) and it was so much nicer and cleaner. 2) cleanliness. There was something sticky on the floor at the foot of my bed. Maybe gum or candy, but it was super sticky. And the shower with hair. And the comfortable with the icky "stains." 3) lack of healthy breakfast options. Pancakes, waffles, pastries, cereal. It's all straight up carbohydrates and I'm not running a marathon first thing in the morning. I will say that the keurig in the rooms is a nice touch, though I didn't use it. Update: I have revised my rating due to management's response to the cleanliness issue. They were very prompt when I spoke to the manager in the morning. read more

My home flooded, and my insurance company put me up in the Redmond Inn while the house is being worked on. It was lovely! The rooms are very comfortable, and they have the softest pillows I've ever seen in any hotel. Free breakfast is a nice perk for the harsh Seattle winter mornings, as well as the cookies they offer in the evening. The pancake machine is particularly fun, just push a button and boom, out plops a pancake! They offer many amenities like free gym passes, guest laundry rooms, bike rental, pool, jacuzzi and a complimentary shuttle. On top of that, the rates are very affordable; I saw far inferior hotels and even motels that were only ten bucks cheaper per night. Given the quality of the rooms, it's definitely a phenomenal value! Unfortunately, I can't rate the full 5 stars 'cuz there were a few minor bumps: Their wifi gets aggravatingly slow late at night for some reason, they lost my reservation multiple times, and I got locked out of my room on several occasions because my checkout date kept getting postponed (the contractors keep uncovering more and more water damage) and they simply forgot to extend my card key. HOWEVER! The staff more than made up for any frustration. Everyone I spoke to was a total sweetheart and beyond patient when dealing with my many, many requests. Rosemary is the kindest of the bunch, and she alone makes staying at the Redmond Inn worthwhile. She even remembered my name, and when I checked out she asked if I was doing okay and how the home repairs were coming along. She actually cared enough to remember not only my name, but why I was lodged there in the first place! I've been so stressed out because of all that's happened this past week, and her kindness and personality made me feel at ease for the first time since the disaster occurred. When my house is finally patched up and I have a functioning kitchen again, I plan to bake her some cookies to say thank-you. Every last one of those staffers deserves a cookie just for putting up with me, let alone keep smiling. So in short, I wholeheartedly recommend the Redmond Inn, it's a great little hotel for a fantastic price. Just be sure to bring a little treat for the folks behind the front desk. Spent 3 nights here over Labor Day weekend, while visiting and arranging my daughters wedding last weekend. We had a room with 2 queen beds-there were 4 of us so of course we were crowded but it wasn't bad. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and the pillows were also quite nice-not like most motel pillows and beds. We were next to the freeway and the noise was continual, as was the next room noise-the walls are truly thin. WiFi is iffy. With 4 people, we did need fresh towels daily, but had to ask especially to have room cleaned while we were gone-and when the toilet got plugged they brought ME the plunger to fix it. It's not that I can't do it-I did, it's that I expected a handyman to come and unplug the john. Breakfast was below average Sysco style food-pancake maker was broken and they needed more than 1 waffle maker with the big crowd. This is an ok place for a big family-nice pool was full of screaming kids all the time, the breakfast room was also inundated with kids. I wouldn't suggest it for a couple wanting some alone time unless you're doing it on the cheap. The rate was lower than most places and I'm sure thats why it was so full. Small bathroom but clean as was the room. Conveniently located and friendly staff. The green carpet makes the room feel a little dark and dated. Stayed at the Redmond Inn for the fourth time this weekend - my wife's birthday. We stayed in the 3rd floor suite (#300), and had our usual great stay. The rooms were clean and well appointed, and the staff delivered a bouquet and gift to the room before our arrival - my wife was pleasantly surprised to find these in the room when we arrived. The staff was friendly and helpful, and provided chocolate chip cookies each afternoon. There was dining and shopping within easy walking distance, with direct access to the East Lake Sammamish Trail. This hotel had the worst service, first of all I called the front desk to help me with the tv and they told me they don't know how to fix it with out coming to look at it. Second, my room had mold in the vent and in the shower, I ask if they could send housekeeping while I was gone, they cleaned the whole room but the mold was still there and never touched! It's kinda cute. Sure it's a little outdated, but WHO CARES, it's clean and quiet. If you need a clean place with friendly staff and a pretty good breakfast this place is a good choice I like how you get a little kitchenette with a small bar sink so two people don't have to take turns using the sink. The shower is pretty clean and renovated...although the shower head is from like the 70's and more like hisses water at you... Blanket is super thin so if you're always cold like me, you'll have to ask for another blanket. I do love the plush squishy pillows and fluffy towels. Good job Housekeeping for knowing when to change out towels when they get rough and old. If the price is right I'll stay again, but anything over $130 seems a bit much for this place. read more

I'm local to Redmond and have needed a hotel from time to time for various reasons. This is my go-to place. It's warm, quiet, and inviting. The rooms are extra clean with really good amenities. The beds are super comfortable. There is an excellent coffee machine in the lobby. The owner has always been generous with the community by donating to various school auctions and raffles. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They all observe COVID safety protocols and I feel safe going here. There is a restaurant, Family Pancake House, located in the same parking lot as the hotel. The heat/ac unit worked intermittently, so we couldn't get a comfortable setting. Called front desk and no maintenance person was available. I got the answer of, they had already left for the day. We had others in our group have the same issue with their rooms. The room didn't feel too secure. The room door didn't close all the way, so we constantly had to pull it shut. The tv channels were all poor quality, blurry. The continental breakfast was nothing spectacular. I was hoping for some breakfast meat or potatoes. The pancake house was a good alternative. The pricing not worth the stay. read more

WOW - last minute call from motel* about my 4 day stay. Was told pet fee for 2 small dogs would add $200 to my 4 night stay (54% more then my confirmed reservation cost!) . Not a deposit - which I'd be fine with - not a 'single $25 per pet for entry stay fee" - I'd also be fine with that .... IT WAS A PER PET, PER NIGHT FEE! If they are so concerned about irresponsible pet owners they should NOT allow them - but then again - maybe that was their intent all along. This hotel had incredibly thin walls. Every noise in the adjacent room (or even quiet conversation) seemed as though it was right next to us. The room was clean, but the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. We had a ground floor room, and the road noise was bothersome the entire time. The staff checked us in quick, but they weren't overly friendly. Honestly, the only upside was that there was a coupon for a discount at the (unrelated) pancake restaurant that shared a parking lot. read more
