Beautiful place, lovely location. I loved how the parking is still free and the pool area has lockers and separate showers and a steam room. The hot tub was huge and super relaxing. Entertainment by the lake went till 10 and brunch on Sunday went till 3 pm. Prices were reasonable for dining and we used Hyatt points for our room. The rooms were recently remodeled and the televisions were massive. I like all the light fixtures. Wished robes were in the room instead of by request. Everything was top notch though. I've started at a handful of Hyatts, and this one ranked on top. Would definitely stay again if the rate was right or I had enough hotel points. They even had s'mores at dusk.

Beautiful room with great amenities. On the personal side it's a great home away from home with nice views and good service. From a business side (attending a conference) they are quite good as well, especially on the food side of things, even managing vegetarian and gluten free options very well (also fantastic flavors and presentation). Love the location of this space; it's convenient for all sorts of reasons.

This is a great hotel with amazing amenities. It's located right on Lake Washington, and has amazing views. It's also really close to Boeing. This is a great place to stay if you're in Renton.

A very pleasant stay at the Hyatt Regency Renton earlier this month. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and friendly staff who were welcoming throughout my visit. The location is convenient for exploring the greater Seattle area, and the views of Lake Washington are a wonderful bonus. My room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with cozy beds and thoughtful amenities that made for a relaxing stay. The common areas were inviting and well-designed, providing great spaces to unwind or get some work done. I also appreciated some of the unique offerings, including complimentary evening s'mores, an indoor pool, and an outdoor bar and restaurant that operates on select days. Food trucks appear on certain days for lunch too. The hotel is within walking distance of a park and hiking trails, making it easy to enjoy the outdoors. Another nice perk was the availability of complimentary bicycles, and there is a shopping mall just a short distance away for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The main drawback is the distance from downtown Seattle and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, as rideshare costs can add up quickly when traveling back and forth. However, if you don't mind being outside the city center, the peaceful lakeside setting is well worth it. Overall, I would happily stay here again and would recommend the Hyatt Regency Renton to both business and leisure travelers looking for a comfortable, well-appointed hotel with great amenities and easy access to outdoor recreation.

Stopped in to have Thanksgiving dinner with my son and we stopped at the sports bar to watch some of the game before our reservation and water Park lake Washington. Here's the view that I received while I send it at the sports bar. This place is amazing. I may have to come back to this plan and stay at least a night or two .

We really liked this hotel: it's clean, has a beautiful interior, and the property itself is lovely. There's a stunning lake right next to it, which makes the atmosphere even more peaceful. The staff were very polite and welcoming, and our room was great spacious and nicely decorated. Everything was perfect except for one thing: the bed linens weren't clean when we arrived. It's something the hotel should definitely pay more attention to. Overall, though, it's a beautiful place

Normally I check things like this but I was tired. I showered pulled sheets back and checked bedding and fell asleep and I woke up to 3 pillows that looked like this. My hair is blonde braids no red dyes so you can imagine why I was freaked out. I immediately call front desk and housekeeping and requested that they come and look at it. It was like 7am the housekeeping manager George/Jorge advised to come. Never showed up instead sent someone to come change out the pillow cases. I asked her (Tui) what was she there for she advised her manager sent her to change sheets and pillow cases. I said no they need to see it she took pictures with her phone and changed the pillow cases only and left. I didn't matter I was checking out today. It was around 9am still now housekeeping manager or front desk manager came to room. I took pictures and got dressed and went front desk to express concern. Spoke with Christopher that asked if housekeeping manager ever show up I advised no not for over 2 hours now. He then advised that they were sold out and understaffed. Not sure how this is a problem of mine when you just billed me $400 + dollars for one night stay and dinner (grilled prawns and salad) because everything else was sent back bread was a black I mean burnt sent back and return with rolls that were a brick as well. I tapped it on the plate for the waiter he apologized and the crab cake was grainy and I was advised they are gluten free but grainy as it they made with some batter. So couldn't go wrong with salad. Order breakfast to go. Charged 18% gratuity on receipt as service fee. Host kept coming back with gloves on from kitchen when he brought I my food. Check it and missing $14 fruit and also bagel that comes with food and to wait for this host went back in kitchen to get it. Understaff here host helping in kitchen preparing the food, seating table and manning front. Went back to front desk to get check out receipt and advised that they couldn't provide until after investigation of bedding and overall service. Christopher gave me a card to text with photos, I had to leave so I sent text photos. Received a response of advising as a gesture of good will 10,000 point this isn't enough point to accommodate the stat that was charge this doesn't event include the service. I inquire back and advised this and was told sorry it doesn't meet your standards or expectation. I just wanted to see what it would cost to book another not stay and the minimum point are 20,000. Horrible service and hotel could care less about experience and advised incident will be used for training.

Well damn! It's PERFECT! I had drinks to die for, rooms were extra clean and hotel was quiet yet in the heart of everything AND ON THE WATER! THIS IS A GORGEOUS HOTEL IN THE HEART OF IT ALL!!! If you have Laghai at the desk you are in for a treat! Wonderful customer service!

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, DO NOT USE THEIR PARKING GARAGE! My partner and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency on Lake Washington for one night to celebrate her birthday on 5/30/26. As a Hyatt member, we have historically enjoyed our experiences with the Hyatt. And to be clear, we had no issues with the room -- we had a great stay, right up until we checked out. Upon check in, the front desk let us know that they offered complimentary parking in their underground parking garage, and to park my vehicle on the purple level which had a convenient entrance that led straight into the first level of the Hyatt. We did just that -- we found a spot close to the underground entrance and began our stay. After checking out, we headed back down to the garage to get in the truck and leave. Once I turned on the truck, my partner and I immediately knew something was wrong -- the engine sounded like we had just revved up a motorcycle; LOUD. We drove it out of the garage, and parked outside in the light to get a look at what was going on. Long story short, between 4pm and 10am, someone had gotten into their parking garage and attempted to cut out my catalytic converter, which explained the loud engine noise. They had completely cut one side of the exhaust pipe, and cut about 3/4 of the other side. They luckily were not able to steal the catalytic converter itself. We hypothesized that the person trying to steal it had either gotten spooked, or caught by a potential security guard before they could finish, and had to run off. So, we called the front desk to their perspective on what had happened and to get security camera footage of the attempted theft. The front desk claimed to be unaware that any of this had happened, and had no documentation of the attempted theft in their garage. They also let us know that the parking garage, (the one that connects directly to one of their main entrances), was not owned by them and that they couldn't speak on what we could do in this situation. They said it was owned by the building across the street, and that they would contact them immediately to have them reach out to us regarding the incident. About four days went by, and we had gotten zero word from the garage owner about the incident. I called the Hyatt back to explain this to them -- they again told me there is nothing they could do for us, but that they would reach out to their manager to see about any potential compensation due to our unsatisfactory experience. To this day, we haven't heard anything back regarding that. They gave us the contact information for the building that owns the garage, and told us that we could contact them. When we called the garage owner, they let us know that there are no security cameras inside of the garage, just at the entrance and exit. They also did not care to even look and see if someone had walked in or out of the garage that night with tools to cut out a catalytic converter. This is deeply troubling... anything could have happened inside of that garage and there would be no way to document it. If you are thinking of staying here, BE CAREFUL. Hyatt clearly does not care about the safety of its guest's vehicles, or the safety of the guests themselves, while in the parking garage that they so graciously advertise as a great and convenient perk of staying with them. We are lucky that it was only a vehicle that was harmed, and a not guest of the Hyatt -- if that were to happen, be warned that they are clearly not equipped with any kind of security or surveillance to help protect the safety of their guests. They have done nothing to resolve this for us as of 6/6/26. I am left with a large mechanic bill and a bad taste in my mouth. We are very disappointed in the Hyatt and their customer service, and will look the other way when deciding a hotel to stay at in the future. (Pictures of the damages are attached).

Amazing birthday weekend 2 night stay here for my husband. Nothing but the best. I wish we get a chance to make the most out of the included amenities (s'mores kit, free wine, free birthday dessert) but we were out exploring Seattle so we didn't have the time. The room has a superb view of the lake and the Boeing planes being constructed. A big shout out to Chloe for a very warm welcome and for making sure we had the best stay possible from the start. Thank you Chloe you're a rockstar. Being a discoverist and loyal to the Hyatt brand we got an upgrade and a higher floor, they took care of our dogs having a bed and bowls available already in the room. Everyone we encountered are very nice! It was my husband and I first time staying here and in Renton and we were blown away. Wishing we could've stayed a little bit longer so we can try dining in at the restaurant. We will be back again in the summer!

Our first time here in Seattle, and this Hyatt is so beautiful! I am blown away from the scenery, the open windows that showcase Lake Washington! Wow so amazing! Customer service was on point, checked in no problem. They require $50 hold on your card for accidentals! It's Valet Parking overnight for $47, there's also self parking for like $28. I have yet to try the Market downstairs. This place is so nice, I might take a stroll by the water! I highly recommend the stay here!

I had the most amazing experience at this hotel last weekend. I got into town a bit early and popped in to see if my room was available. I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely the hotel was decorated for the holidays. They had a couple of eloquently decorated trees and there's a couple places that they've set up photo ops. It was very nicely done. There's a walking path behind the hotel that leads to a little beach that would be great in the summertime and there is also a playground for the kids. There's fire pits and chairs on the dock that overlook the water. It's very serene back there. I'm not sure who handled my pre check in but she was so friendly. She went over all the things that the resort fee covered, parking, and a few other hotel details with me. I let her know it was my birthday and asked her if there were any upgrades available. She said she would be able to upgrade me to a water view room and that they would text me when the room was available. I got the text about an hour or so later which was still a few hours before the normal check in time. When I got back to check in they let me know they had upgraded me again and this time to a king corner room with a lake view. This room was beautiful and the view was amazing. The room has tile at the entry and has coat hooks right by the door to keep from tracking rain into the room. This is a nice touch in the PNW. The spectacular view stole the show but a close runner up was the bathroom. The deep soaking tub was exactly what I needed to relax after a long day of travelling and the water was HOT. The bathroom also has a separate standup shower and a vanity that was perfect for getting ready. The bed was very comfortable and I really enjoyed laying in it and looking out at the lake in the morning. The wine bar and the other bar both close kind of early but Water's Table stayed open later. The bartender that night that waited on me that night, I can't remember his name, was very attentive and he made a mean drink. He made sure my glass was never empty and checked on my often. I had breakfast at the same restaurant in the morning and my waitress, whose name I also can't remember, was so on top of it she should win an award. She wasn't too attentive but I didn't feel like she forgot about me either. She joked with me while filling up my coffee and was really personable. The coffee was pretty good and the food was ok. I got a simple breakfast but the brunch items looked like they would have been delicious. I chatted with the ladies at the desk during my check out and even talking to them it was like I had known them for a long time. I don't remember everyone's name who helped to make my stay extra special but Alexia, Emi, Siti, Maxine, the bartender, and my waitress all at breakfast deserve a big shoutout for being so good at their jobs and going above and beyond to make my birthday stay extra special. I don't think that I will stay at any other hotel in Renton after the experience I had here.

This hotel deserves more than an overall 3.5 star rating! My company offers a discounted rate but the hotel was gorgeous. I was lucky enough to get a room on the 12th floor with lake Washington views. The rooms were large, clean and I didn't have any issues with sound. I also arrived hours before check in and was able to get a room from the kind and accommodating staff. They have a nice restaurant and Starbucks onsite as well. I recommend spending a bit more money for club access so you can take advantage of free breakfast, snacks and happy hour.

Ask the Community - Hyatt Regency

Can you swim in the lake from here if you're a guest? Like off of the pictured pier or similar? If not, how far to swimming spots?

Not off of the pictured pier. It's about a 1/2-3/4 mile walk to Gene Coulon park where they do have swimming during the summer.

    Is there free parking?

It depends. There’s free 2 hours of parking with a validated ticket in the garage. There’s free two hour parking along the road. If I recall there’s free parking on the weekends. But during the week it’s like $17/day for self parking and much more…

Where could I find the menu for this place?

Depends on which place. There are several venues at this hotel.

The caterer was more difficult because I wanted my fiancé to have a say in our meal planning. We noticed that the menus were pretty spare considering the costs that were being estimated. I asked Ashley about this and she responded that she had made a mistake in telling us that a plated meal would be less expensive because all of her experience was in hotel weddings. Now? She tells me in late-February that we've been on the wrong catering format now? The photographer that I selected provided a contract. You can read about the details of my experience with that vendor at Elegant Images. The contract was not acceptable; they insisted that no other photos could be taken at our event. When I asked Ashley to negotiate the contract and remove that clause, she waited 2 weeks and told me that "I had better really like [this photographer's] portfolio and work, or drop them because they were not budging on the contract". 2 weeks work and no changes? April: we selected our caterer and started the contract process. At this time, I was becoming increasingly frustrated with Ashley. I would email her or call and leave a message and would not receive a response for at least a week. When I received a response, I was told that I was just one of many clients that she was planning for and that I needed to be patient. Too many clients? Is my money not just as green? So I started to ask around. One coordinator told me to fire Ashley and hire her for 50% of the cost, she was so offended by the examples I gave. Now, it's May. I don't have a photographer at all. I selected (practically at random) a vendor from theknot.com (because that had worked out SO WELL already) and asked Ashley to reach out to him. He was miraculously available and willing to do the deed. His contract terms were far more acceptable than the first, so we did the deal. Finally, one thing off the list! June: panicking. We had no caterer, no decoration plan, no rentals...the list went on. I asked Ashley to meet me at the venues so that we could talk about décor. I asked her to meet me at the church at 3PM. She was 30 minutes late. She had no groundbreaking ideas or money-saving hints. NONE. At the reception site, I had a blunt discussion with her about what I expected from here on out. She left, telling me not to worry, that she had everything handled. I was to expect a plan of what needed to be done on a timeline on the Tuesday after our meeting. Tuesday came and went with no email, not even one to ask for more time to put something together. What I did receive eventually, was an email saying that we were dangerously close to the 8-hour planning limit and would I like to upgrade to the Ultimate Planning package for $500 more? I responded asking her for her time break-down. I was SHOCKED when I received it. 2 hours spent "researching" caterers? Another 2 hours spent "researching" photographers? Why would an established wedding coordinator have to research vendors? Shouldn't she come with stock vendors that she's worked with several times? Half of my time was spent doing what one of my unemployed friends could have done for free. I stopped being diplomatic and sent her a strongly worded email that said what my expectations were. I received NO RESPONSE. July: I terminated the contract. She was shocked and told me that it was unexpected. WHAT?

Events Extraordinaire did a fantastic job in helping me with my wedding. I hired Ashley to be my…read more"day of" coordinator and she was so much more than that. My wedding day was completely stress free - she took care of everything. My bridesmaids and parents were able to enjoy themselves because they didn't have to be the ones that everyone comes to when a problem occurs. And she made sure that all my things - from important family heirlooms like our toasting goblets, to my sneakers and left over wedding favors - were safely returned to us. And during the planning state, she returned my calls/emails promptly and with good suggestions (and I only hired her for "day of", but she was still helpful with other stuff!). She was great and I am so glad that I hired her.

And I would get a response a few days/weeks later. And her response was always "I'm sorry I've been so busy". Which I understand. But that's why my husband and I hired this company because their job is to do this. It was very stressful when we didn't hear things for weeks. We also talked about cake flavors via email and come to find out on our wedding date, she never ordered one. I mean. Why would we talk about cake flavors and then not add it to the bill?! It was my fault also for not double checking the bill. What wedding doesn't have a cake!?!? When I called her , because she just left without saying anything, all she said was "all I can do is bring a fake cake". How are my guests going to eat this. So I had family run out and buy a few cakes. It was embarrassing . Being a nurse working 12 hours shifts at night, working 4-5 days a week. It was hard to meet up. Because I work 7pm to 7 am. So when I emailed her a few times to fill out the layout for the reception, she never replied. My husband called her a few times and she said to re-email it back. But did I ever get a response? No. I ended up just filling out the layout myself. When I asked her what her PayPal account name was, that's when I got a response right away. Seriously , I would not recommend them to anyone. Which is a shame, because my sister hired them a few years ago and they did fabulous. I'm not sure what happened for my wedding but it was awful. Very unfortunate.

This establishment has clean and fairly comfortable accommodations (bed was a little stiff in my opinion). Bathroom was fairly large and clean, though there was photo of a coffee cup above the toilet (which I found oddly hilarious!) One star knocked off because there is not enough lighting in the center of the room, and the ac can be loud (again, hard of hearing, so not an issue for me, but I'm thinking of you lite sleepers here). Like all Hampton Inn's, they have coffee and tea throughout, in addition to breakfast in the A.M. I appreciate the rotation of food! Other Hampton Inn's keep the same food on repeat, little rotation if that. This one, however had sausage gravy and biscuits one day, and hot links and eggs another. State of WA "OK" placard in terms of sanitation, so that is reassuring. Everything was "okay", except the sausage gravy was no joke STRAIGHT salt; I think they forgot to add water. Shame. I love sausage gravy and biscuits... Anyway, service both reception and breakfast area was friendly enough, but not over accommodating. Not very many parking spaces, but it is an Inn and its mostly secured. Walls are a bit thin if the parties outside are loud. But again, ears don't hear well.
