5/21/26 Was Down for a convention across the street and visiting family. I forgot to take pictures of room we had this time but spacious and had a small fridge for our cold stuff and a nice roll away for my son was perfect ,we love staying here. So convenient and All the staff is Amazing . I forgot one of the bellman's name that first helped us when we checked in but was excellent getting settled into our room . When we checked out Tim was his name was amazing getting all checked out and luggage to our car in the garage. What service . We were able to hang at the pool and lounge area most of the wknd with all of our family who stayed there as well and many other friends . We ate at the bar 1 night and food was excellent and had some drinks there as well . Plenty of stuff to choose from. We will definitely stay here again for next time . Enjoy !!!!

We had a large group stay here for a wedding and had a great experience. I arranged a room block with their sales department ahead of the event and my guests all enjoyed the hotel and its location. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent and we had great communication. I worked with Heather and Stephanie to set up the rooms. Natalie set up the brunch and Sofia was the rockstar for service at the brunch. We also arranged to hold an after wedding brunch and the food and staff were top notch. Our brunch was held out by the pool and all of my guests had a wonderful time. I would recommend this to others.

We're just wrapping up a two night stay this weekend. We had a king unit with a park view on the ninth floor. Very comfortable accommodations all around. We dined at Vines downstairs for breakfast each morning and at Amourath 1819, each afternoon/evening. Food was great at both of these outlets. Everything about this quick weekend getaway was perfect! Thanks Hyatt!

Subject is hidden because until now no one knew that Hilton brilliantly serves the interests of Hyatt, its guests, and its people

If Sacramento had a living room, it would be Amourath 1819, the lobby bar at the Hyatt Regency. It's the kind of place where you stop in for "just one drink" and suddenly you're solving the world's problems with people you met fifteen minutes ago. The real attraction isn't the soaring lobby or the excellent cocktails--it's the people behind the bar. Steven, Jules, Jenna, Shanna Marie, Samantha, and the legendary Hilton have mastered the rare art of making everyone feel like a regular, whether it's your first visit or your hundredth. They're quick with a recommendation, quicker with a smile, and somehow keep the place running with the relaxed confidence of people who genuinely enjoy what they do. And yes... Hilton works at the Hyatt. That's worth at least one extra star all by itself. If you see a guy named Hilton working at the Hyatt, take the photo. The universe doesn't hand you jokes that good very often. As for the negative reviews? Some people complain it's expensive. Well... you're sitting across from the California State Capitol in one of Sacramento's flagship hotels. If you're expecting gas station prices, I also have some beachfront property in Nebraska to sell you. Others say it's "too classy." That's just another way of admitting they accidentally started acting civilized. Whether you're celebrating something important, hiding from the summer heat, meeting friends, or simply people-watching in one of Sacramento's best lobbies, this place delivers. The drinks are excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff remind you that hospitality isn't about serving cocktails--it's about making people feel like they belong. Five stars. And one bonus star for Hilton... just for showing up to work with the funniest name badge in Sacramento.

Marilyn is so nice at the front desk. She always greets us with a smile. And Tanya's up in the Regency Club always making sure our stay is delicious. Would really like to give a shout out to Tim at the Bell Desk. TIM WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND, keeping our things stowed away and safe while we went up to see Aunt Aggie at the Lake house. We had a full truck and desperately needed the rear seat to pick up my daughter & her fiancé at the Sacramento International Airport. Tim made sure we could make the room for the kids by keeping our extra baggage. He was as a delight to work with. Can wait to return to Sacramento & see all these great employees. It's workers like these that keep us coming back to Sacramento Hyatt Regency time, and time again!

We spent two nights at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento, a Saturday and Sunday evening. This hotel is located directly across from the state capitol and from that perspective, it's a great location. On the surface, it has quite a few amenities; fitness center, parking garage, restaurants, club lounge--but in reality, these are either closed or subpar. The parking garage's entrance elevator was out of order for the duration of our stay, which meant we had to walk the length of the parking garage to use the elevator at all. And, the parking garage was only accessible from level two of the hotel. The fitness center is located outside of the hotel on a side street. Very inconvenient and cold. On Sunday morning, the club lounge is closed, and we were offered a breakfast at the Vines restaurant in the lobby. This was a fine option and we enjoyed our breakfast there. Sunday morning, there was a breakfast buffet, but Monday morning we ordered from the menu. Overall, we felt service was excellent, food was average, prices were very high. We had a corner King room, which had great views. The room was a nice size, and the bed was comfortable. Upon check-in, we noticed that the refrigerator didn't close properly, so it never cooled. This was reported to the front desk staff but nothing was corrected. It was nice to have the room serviced each day, but the morning we were scheduled to check out, the room was cleaned and our personal belongings were removed, despite having not checked out and it being before our check out time. The highlight of the hotel was definitely the club lounge Saturday evening. It has a great outdoor space with Capitol views. The host did a masterful job of running the place singlehandedly which was no small task. Sadly, the lounge was not available on Sunday evening despite their website stating it was available 7 days per week. I would think twice before staying at this Hyatt again.

Stayed here for 3 nights for Thanksgiving vacation. Sacramento has several kid-friendly museum, a cool Old Town next to the Waterfront, and lots of good restaurants. The politicians, lobbyists, and nearby UC Davis student all need places to eat! The hotel is located steps from the Capitol and park, and easy drive to most attractions. The hotel is a bit dated but overall clean and we had a great and restful stay. Overall 4 stars: * Parking in the adjacent lot is $22/day self park with in/out privileges * Free wifi - a nice perk since some hotels still charge for this! Plenty of filtered water stations everywhere. * Comfy double beds and digital thermostat with excellent temperature control. * Nice gym with machines, dumbbells, and kettlebells. To access it, go outside on the freezing cold and find the Stayfit building next to the parking lot. * Good restaurants variety - a breakfast buffet, fancy steakhouse, and a sports bar with full menu. Next door there's a coffee shop called Chocolate Fish. Since it was Thanksgiving Week, the onsite gift/sundry store closed or closed really early.

Stayed here over the weekend for Sacanime. Overall it was great Checking in - really easy and nice. Friendly and helpful staff. Even getting the preferred floor and specifics was nice. Room service was great. There were some issues which I hope is addressed prior to my next stay. The issue was with the Dolly situation. On check-in day, we were told our room wasn't available yet, it might be 3 hours. so we opted to go do other stuff till it was ready, and then when we checked in, I asked for a Dolly since all our stuff was in the parking 4th floor. Was told by guest services that we can't roll the Dolly ourselves, a staff will assist. that's perfectly fine. Super nice gentleman, went with us, got our things and then met us at our room. On check-out day, I asked a dolly again. I was initially told they were busy that day, but I can wait in my room as long as everything is packed, I can check out (cards will be deactivated). I did that. Waited no problem. 10 minutes later I get a call and the staff said I can go down and pick up the Dolly. I informed staff I can't, my card is deactivated. So I waited another 5 minutes for a staff to come. This time it was a pretty grumpy asian male staff. He informed us he cannot bring the dolly to the parking lot, instead he'll drop our things off at the front entrance of the lobby, we can drive our car around, load, and then repark. We asked why the change, he said it was against policy. So we asked nicely if he can drop our things off in the 2nd floor and we'll move our stuff to the parking lot ourselves. He appeared annoyed and kept saying it's against policy but he "was willing to do it this one time." It saved us about 75% of the way, 2 trips from the 2nd floor to the car so we were thankful. But why the inconsistency with the Dolly situation and the staff's attitude towards us?

I was there twice for California Retired Teachers Association Conference, most recently June 2026. The hotel is conveniently located to the Capitol. The hotel itself is large and clean. The beds are comfortable and there is a coffee maker and refrigerator with bottled water. Unfortunately I didn't realize till the last day that bottled water is needed to make coffee. I was blaming the brand of coffee . The food was good both at the restaurant and the large banquet. The quesadilla with sautéed mushrooms was great. I was able to order through the bar and sit outside. The staff was patient with a lot of retired teachers running, well maybe walking slowly, and asking questions. There is a coffee shop next door. The gift shop has bottled ice coffee $7 and sodas but no diet. Hyatt - PLEASE turn down the air conditioning.

This review is based off of attending an event and not actually staying at the hotel. I have been to the Hyatt a few times, mostly for work events. Today's visit was no different - the company I work for was a sponsor at the "Best Places to Work" Luncheon and I had the honor of being one of the attendees. The ballroom was spacious and they had vendor booths sent up where we got some fun items from different businesses like a build your own bouquet sponsored by the Sacramento Food Co-Op. For lunch, we had Fried Chicken, Midnight Mac and Cheese and Green Beans...it was surprisingly really good. Everything was very flavorful and the chicken was nice and juicy. For dessert, they served a Panna Cotta with Grapefruit and some kind of green topping that was also very good. They offer parking attached to their actual hotel, but there are also parking garages near by. Overall, we had a great time and the Hyatt was the perfect place to host this event!

I truly love this hotel! The ambiance is beautiful, the amenities are excellent, the gym is large and well-equipped, and the Regency Club is a great perk. Overall, it's a place I genuinely enjoy staying. Unfortunately, my experience at the downstairs lobby bar (not restaurant) really took away from an otherwise great stay. I was waiting for a table and was completely ignored by the server, despite standing there and making it clear I was waiting. This server happens to be pictured in the back of this photo. Since the bar wasn't busy, I eventually sat at an open table myself. Even then, I waited an unusually long time for him to come take a very simple order, despite him clearly seeing me sitting there. After placing my order, he never checked back in or acknowledged me again. Another staff member, who was not my server, kindly came over to ask if I needed anything else and helped close me out, which I appreciated. What stood out most was that the server was attentive and friendly to everyone around me, yet did not acknowledge me at all. As I was leaving, there was no goodbye or acknowledgment, just a glance before he went back to what he was doing. I'm not sure why this happened, but it was disappointing and made me feel overlooked. I hope this is addressed, as the rest of the hotel experience is excellent and I'd otherwise highly recommend it.

This is a great location if you want to be within walking distance to downtown/midtown Sacramento. Although we enjoyed our stay, and the location. Our initial impressions of their front desk staff were off putting. The ladies up front were conversing amongst themselves instead getting us checked in. Valet attendants were friendly enough, thank goodness they showed they cared about our time when we called down for our car. Our room was clean, but the makeup mirror was broken and there was no vent in the restroom. I did like the motion sensored lights, so I could easily maneuver around the room without turning on the light. The location of this hotel was perfect to get to our event and to local eateries. We were however bummed that there were a few businesses that had incorrect posted hours, but we just adjusted our visit. It was as a whole a 4-star visit because service was lacking up front. We would consider staying again if we came back to the area for another event.

Parking: valet only, $40. I found an uncovered parking lot on 28th that was $10 for overnight. The valet attendant is directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast: M-F 6:30A-9A, S-S 7A-10A on 3rd floor. Offered typical hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, and hot coffee. They also had oatmeal and some fruits. The Star Lounge is pretty to visit with the blue velvet chairs and candles. Fitness center: 24 hours, on basement floor Laundry: 24 hours, on basement floor No pool. Free wifi

Came here for a staycation via Chase The Edit Program…read more 1) Check in could have been smoother. We called a day in advance for earlier check-in and they said it shouldn't be a problem. When we arrived at 3pm, they said the room was clean, but hadn't been inspected and they would text me in 10min when it's done. Fast forward an hour later, and no text came through. We checked in with the front desk and their apology was that they forgot to let us know... The front desk agent didn't go through any of the hotel amenities or benefits as part of the Edit. 2) Room itself is nice and shower is enormous, but no bathtub which seems like a missed opportunity. 3) Social hour (5-6pm) is fun with generous pours of local wines, beer, cocktails and mocktails. Pool is popular and they provide sunscreen, which is a nice touch. No hot tub. Also, they are quite strict that it's only for hotel guests as there is someone guarding the entrance. 4) The only on-site hotel restaurant, Revival, is 21+, which is discouraging for families. You can order takeout to your room though. 5) Fitness center is certainly on the smaller side, but has the necessities. Overall, a solid hotel that misses on a few marks for service.

It's…read moreclose to many interesting destinations like the Golden 1 Center, Crocker Arts Museum, California State Capitol Museum, California State Railroad Museum, Old Sacramento waterfront, and cinema, all within walking distance. When I checked in on Sunday (July 26th, around 4:30 pm), the female staff (whose name I forgot, ) at the front desk was very friendly, professional and super nice. I got a very nice upgraded room (because of my daughter's credit card privileges). The room was big and clean. But the spotlight is on the bathtub!!! A standalone, deep, and curved soaking bathtub that I was able to enjoy this full-body immersion experience with the mandarin and citrus bath salts that the hotel provided. That made my stay truly luscious and fulfilling my daughter's aspirations for me!!. They have a coffee time in the morning at the lobby where we can choose from tea, hot coffee or iced coffee. Then we got to enjoy the social hour for drinks from 5 pm to 6 pm. They offered various wines, beers, liqueurs, non-alcoholic drinks, and appetizers. I particularly liked the cocktail, Silver Spoon cocktails, offered on day 1. It's very smooth and mellow especially when pairing with Korean spicy chicken wings which were the perfect appetizer. We really enjoyed the time at the cozy lobby. It's a nice way to cool down. They have a cocktails making class (Mixology) at the Revival (hotel bar/restaurant) for registered guests and the class is offered daily at 4 pm, same Cocomo drink every day. Adam was a fun and energetic teacher and we all were joyfully engaging like the perfect students. I liked the drink and the the class!! Activity for adults. It's totally cool! We ate our meals mostly at the Revival and room services from the Revival too. I will do a separate review about the restaurant. I loved their gym. Quite spacious with quite a few equipment. I was there exercising alone so I tried most of the equipment. They have a big beautiful pool that's absolutely inviting. They also have several cabanas for groups rental. But it's just too hot to be outside. So I spent most of my time in my hot soaking tub! . I also went shopping and watched a movie. Shenna was very pleasant when she helped me to check out of the hotel. I had a great stay.

I woke up with 2 very sore fingers on my right hand. I reported to desk (only 1 staff working solo). She did give me an ice pack and a wrap. She did apologize. She asked me what she could do. That's odd to me, I've been in customer service over 45 years, I never asked a customer "what can I do?" for bad service or experience s...just make it better. I told her have someone go remove the nightstand so the next guest doesn't get injured. I went back to room to record how severely unbalanced the table was. A HK Supv (Myneli) was very kind but also unsure came by, I told her take it out PLEASE. It's a handicap room to make it easier for those of us with disabilities, not to make it unsafe or uncomfortable! She removed it as I requested. The front desk agent, said she was going to make an incident report and a manager would contact me, I never heard from anyone. That was 5 days ago. The front desk agent said she would put some points on my honors account, never happened. I also reported that I left my breakfast passes on the same dresser I placed the tip (not 2gether) the tip and passes were gone. The front desk did replace them, thank you. I also chose this location because it had an outside hot tub near the pool but was disappointed to see CAUTION tape like a crime scene. No access. PLEASE update repairs so we have accurate info when booking! I opted for a hot bath (dirty tub, I had to clean. See photos) There was also long hairs on the soap & shampoo bottles. I always travel with clorox wipes BUT why do we have to spend so much money and still have to sanitize a room? I still leave a cash tip daily because im sure they work hard & are most likely low wages. It's the right thing to do. Lastly the decor in the room was off. Only 2 small pictures and no full length mirror nor suitcase stand. I reactivated my Marriot account, I don't know if I will continue on with Hilton.... Update Manager? Luis Robles gave "stock" reply in Trip adviser...wow Hey Luis, you should ACTUALLY READ the reviews, some things require sincere attention not "copy & paste" reply....

Came here to take one of the yoga on the river classes being held by YogaSix every Saturday morning in September. Lovely way to start your weekend with a slow flow and gorgeous water views. Stuck around after the yoga class to enjoy some coffee with a friend on the back patio. Cute merchandise available for purchase curated from local vendors. There is valet parking available and also free self service parking. You do not have to walk very far if you do self service parking. Friendly staff and the public areas were ultra clean. For those looking for somewhere to eat dinner nearby, Scott's seafood next door does not disappoint.

Westin Sacramento…read more Upon check in I was told that handicap parking is free but it is first come, first served. The hotel has 3 handicap stalls for the entire hotel and Scott's restaurant combined. So the first night I was told valet was my only option since it was full. I was willing to look past this but then we moved our car the next morning and didn't use valet again for over 24 hours. But we still got charged the $52 for valet for every night we stayed there. After speaking with the desk they removed the middle day since we didn't utilize valet at all. Then someone who works at a different location mentioned we shouldn't have to pay for valet if we have a handicap vehicle because we would park in a handicap stall yet none were available. I mentioned this to the front desk and Analeigh (not sure the spelling) just looked annoyed and said she credited one night of valet. But upon checkout we still had 2 nights charged of valet. I told her the middle night (of 3 nights) should have been credited anyways since we didn't utilize valet that night (or day). So she didn't really do us any favors for the situation. She acted extremely dense and rude. When she finally agreed to credit one night of valet she was visibly annoyed and smacked the bill printout on the desk and proceeded to do something else. I am sure the Westin has cameras and can clearly see I never once raised my voice or was rude to her at all. Yet she didn't even ask "how was your stay" upon checkout before we even had the interaction. It's like she knew the hotel was lacking and didn't want to even ask. Not to mention zero compassion and zero customer service. In addition, the linens were worn down and towels were threadbare during our stay. There were actual holes in our pillowcases and threads coming apart on the comforter and blanket. The area under the sink was super dusty and there was someone else's hair down there with the towels we were supposed to use. There was also hair under the tub. Gross. To top it off, one of two elevators were broken our entire stay. Another random guest said he was there all week and the elevator had been broken causing long waits for everyone trying to use one elevator. He said the Westin charges so much and yet they have zero care for their guests. After our experiences I am on the same page as him. Hopefully the upper management can take these things into consideration and take a moment to have reasonable parking policies and increase the number of handicap stalls. Our child is in a wheelchair and cannot stand or do anything on his own and we were treated like an annoyance. Also, please make sure the rooms are clean and replace sheets that have holes and towels that should be used for rags. For the cost per night of the hotel it's really not acceptable.

We came back to our hotel night, one to a room that had not been cleaned at all and when I called down and asked why the lady asked if we had requested it and I said no we are not from here so we did not know to ask because where we are from it's standard cleaning every night. She said she would put us on the list. The next day housekeeping came, but we were still in the room and I told her about 10 minutes and she said she would come back at lunchtime, we came back eight hours later to again another clean room and only the bathroom had been done. I called down again and asked why and she said well. Did you specify that you wanted a full cleaning... What am I even paying for? So on our very last night, we got the room cleaned. This was not told to us at check-in nor did we see anywhere, but it was posted that you had to call and ask for rooms to be clean. We were a family of five staying in one room and requested an extra blanket, which they did not have any and gave us top of the comforter, which was weird. They also had no towels down at the pool area as well as ran out of bathroom towels. The beds were very uncomfortable, definitely would not book here again

(It wasn't by much) Swasy is the one who greeted me, asked how I was doing and overall made me feel welcomed. She explained the amenities and just by scanning the area, I could tell this was a nice place. As we were making our way up the room, Maria from housekeeping greeted us and let us know if we need anything, please let us know. Arrived at our floor and you can tell how comfy and inviting the bed is. Woke up and decided to take advantage of the gym at 5am. Greeted by Seth as I was helping myself to coffee. There were some items ready in which he added to help myself. As I thanked him, he reminded me breakfast will start at 7am and provided me what was on the menu. Made it to breakfast with Cecilia who works the area. I briefly met her along with Madison when I first checked in. Breakfast was fresh and flavorful Checking out I was greeted by Madison who I recognized yesterday when I checked in. Told her shes pulling a double in which she giggled and has such an infectious smile. Overall I am very satisfied with the awesome customer service especially the attentiveness and acknowledgement.
