I started Hybid 180 boot camp about 8 months ago with my family. It was one of the best decisions that we have made. We attend three nights a week like clock work. It has become so addictive that everything else is scheduled around boot camp nights. We also have had some of our neighbors and friends join. Each boot camp we do something different and I'm still sore after every workout. I love the unconventional work outs, flipping tires and pushing tires. I am stronger and have more endurance now and I actually have muscle definition. When I first started boot camp I was terrified of running because I would get so short of breath and several times I would start to panic because I couldn't breath. But Brian believed in me and encouraged me and pushed me to keep going even when I didn't think I could go any further. I'm still not the best runner or the fastest runner at boot camp, but I'm not in last place anymore and most importantly I'm not scared to run anymore. And for that I thank you Brian! One of Brian's favorite sayings is "If it were easy everyone would be doing it" It's definitly not easy. You will sweat and suck air and feel like your muscles are jello, but after its over you have this wonderful feeling of accomplishment that will keep you coming back. I started going to hybrid 180 fitness on a living social deal this summer. I get more of a workout in one hour at boot camp than I would accomplish on my own in three hours! Initially I couldn't do everything, but each day I'm getting stronger with Brian pushing me to the next level. I love that the class has all different ages and fitness levels so as long as you aren't a quitter you will succeed. I have tried work out videos in the past, but the coolest thing about this boot camp is that Brian does a different workout each day so I don't have to dread what the workout is because I have no clue what I'm walking into until it's too late! Seriously Brian does a great job at keeping it fun, challenging, and is a great motivator when you think you can't do anymore. It shows Brian truely enjoys his job & I'm so impressed with how he puts together such great workouts week after week. My husband has been commenting on the changes in my body & even called me a "workout freak" the other day because it truely is addictive once you see the positive changes. If you are looking for a workout with variety & intensity, then Hybrid 180 is what you need to try!! I love going to bootcamp 3 nights a week because you never know what Brian has in store. It never ceases to amaze me that even after attending boot camp for 4 months, 3 nights a week, that I am sore after almost every workout in a different area. As a beginner in Brian's classes, I struggled and was intimidated by some of the exercises and unconventional workout methods, but Brian was great about working with me and teaching me the correct way to complete the exercises. I have tried several of the sessions ay Hybrid and have experienced the relocation to watch the bootcamp grow and expand. The program does work. I have lost a total of 75 pounds and have gained muscle mass and a newer level of fitness both physically and mentally. We stretch before and after warm-ups. There is a large variety of workouts and rarely see the same thing twice. I have been sore for several days afterwards. It is, absolutely, not easy if you are willing to push yourself. If you are not willing to push yourself then be sure Brian coaches your camp so slacking isnt an option. You will get dirty and sweaty. It is not designed to be a typical gym. It is focused on one purpose; getting 1% better every time you are there. I have seen many, many people come and go due to the demand of this program. I have seen folks throw up, nearly pass out, and hobble to their car following bootcamp. A few have left before camp is over. I started going to Hybrid 180 in September after purchasing a Groupon for 6 weeks unlimited. Up until this point I had been struggling to lose post-pregnancy weight for 9+ months. I had been dieting and exercising on my own with very slow and less than stellar results. I was frustrated and needed a workout jumpstart. Well I definitely found it with Hybrid 180. After 4 weeks I enjoyed the format so much and was already seeing the results I signed myself up for another 12 weeks. I am 8 weeks in and have dropped 16 lbs and I feel stronger and leaner than I have in a long time. What I like about the format is you never know what you are in for from one workout to the next. Brian is also a great motivator and will not let you quit or give up. The healthy competition that is developed among teammates also helps you push yourself. I started Hybrid 180 with my wife on a Groupon about 6 months ago, I thought I would breeze through the 12 classes and be on my way. Boy, was I wrong from day one ,which I think was hell week untill now has been a total body workout. The classes become very addictive to the point of what will Brian come up with today. Brian tells you like it is, if you are slacking he will call you out on it, which is so different from your normal Gyms after you pay your money they could care less if you slack. I like the personal drive Brian puts into his workouts, which makes you want to push to the next level, just 1% better everytime is an achievement. I have been going to Hybrid 180 since August and I absolutely love it! I have always had a hard time motivating myself to exercise or lose weight even though I want too, but with Hybrid 180 and having Brian as my trainer, it's so easy!! Not saying the training is easy, because every class kicks my butt and pushes me to get 1% better every time! Brian cares about all his clients and makes us WANT to do better! You can't go to a normal gym or even workout at home and get the results you will get from coming to Hybrid 180. I love looking in the mirror and seeing my results so far. I joined in January and it is such an out of the ordinary workout that becomes addicting. Brian Leighton dedicates an incredible amount of time thinking of creative workouts that are intense, effective and down right fun. I discovered Hybrid 180 through a Groupon and I've been going to Hybrid 180 for 2 months now. I've always been pretty active with playing recreational sports, but struggle with getting motivated to make it into the gym to lift weights and run on the treadmill. The best thing about Hybrid 180 is that there isn't a single treadmill. All of the drills are unconventional and you feel every muscle in your body getting the workout. Having a trainer tell you what to do and help push you through the drills makes the workouts fly by. I have been going to Hybrid 180 for 6 months now and it has been the most effective way for me to lose weight and get in shape. It is definitely better than going to a gym and running on the treadmill every single day. The 50 minute workout at Hybrid is different every single day and you will never get bored. I have been going to Hybrid 180 bootcamp since July on a Living Social deal. My very first workout the trainer Brian told me that 20% of people do not come back after the first day, and I could see why. It was one of the hardest workouts I have had in a long time, and now I am addicted to the classes! I have noticed a big change in my endurance and strength since coming to Hybrid 180. Brian does a good job on getting to know all of his clients and motivating you and also holding you accountable. This is not a gym to come to if you are not willing to give it all you got. I would have never thought .... I would have abs that actually show . I have been doing this for about a year now and the changes in my mid section(core )alone are enough to make me write this. I can actually see the outline of my abs and i can feel my core with every move i make and I love it . I am in my mid 40's but it's never to late and if I can do this workout most people can if they set there mind to it. I started training at Hybrid 180 a year and a half ago and at 47 years old I am in the best shape in my life. I worked out a various gyms or at home for years. NEVER have I pushed my self both mentally and physically like I have in this class. Like Brian says "We don't work out, we train." Its a completely different mindset.
