So i knew from the get go she was not going to be able to reach the top cabinets or anything high. I let her know that I didn't want her to get brave and do so because last think I need is a stranger i injured in my soon to be duplex. When she finished she showed me around, and all looked well, but on further inspection a few days later my wife noticed spider webs on the kitchen cabinet and in the closet. I notified the owner as soon as I saw and got no response. Very disappointed. I have a 4 year old with asthma and I was expecting a deep clean that I paid for to get rid of dust and spider webs at the very least. And no communication from the owner to top it off. Please do not do business with them. I know I am just some random stranger on yelp, but believe me, once they have your money they wont give a crap about you. She easily incorporated our vision into a landscaping master piece. After meeting with Jamie, she scheduled a day for her landscaping artists to work their magic on our front yard canvas. And once they were done we had our dream yard at a price that was fair. It was so nice to come home and see their work for the first time. I am absolutely happy with our yard. After the work was done, they followed up on a couple of visits to get everything just right. They wanted our yard to be perfect for us. They did not do all of their contracted obligations, and we were constantly following up with them. When I pointed this out to the owner he told me the terms in the contract were "a typo". They also damaged a light pole on the property and after months of following up to get them to replace it, I got an email from the owner stating he was terminating our contract effective immediately. This also violated the 30 day termination clause in our agreement. We are now left trying to find a new landscaper in the middle of the spring planting season. I would avoid Verdant Grounds at all costs as they are lacking in professionalism and do not honor their contracts.

I am very disappointed in the service received by this company. I thought using a small business…read morewill be good, however, it seems they aren't able to handle the jobs they have been contracted to do and are unable to provide post-service support as needed. When they want your business they are very responsive, however, after the work is done, you can barely get them to keep their word on responding to you. I had my roof replaced by this company sometime in March/April 2022 after the hail storm. I negotiated a contract with them and they replaced my roof. Since the replacement, I have repeatedly asked for my contract and an invoice to have a record of what was done on my roof and to date, I haven't received any information. I have contacted the owner Arthur Jaramillo and he said weeks ago he will send me the information. To date, after multiple emails, text messages, and phone calls, still no document. He keeps saying he has current customers he is working with so I am pushed to the bottom of his list. My concern here is separate from the invoice, what if there are any issues with the roof they installed and I call them, I don't expect to ever get their help despite what they say. Keep in mind, they will be really nice to you to get your business but once they get the business, you are on your own. I do not recommend this company. Think twice about using their services.

Although initial…read morecommunication was great, the company had to make several visits to my home in order to complete the job to my satisfaction. I spoke with Ben at AM Gutters and scheduled an estimate for December 10th. He texted the morning of the 10th to ask if we could reschedule for Wednesday the 11th, I told him no problem and ended up getting an estimate on the 11th for which I signed a contract. I was told that his crew would come out to install the gutters on December 18th. On December 18th, the crew still had not shown up by 3 pm that afternoon. I texted Ben and he let me know that they were on their way. When they showed up, the vehicle had the name and phone number of another gutter company which concerned me. I called Ben and he reassured me that these individuals were not subcontractors, that they were part of his crew. Because of their late arrival, the gutters were not finished that evening and I was told that they would return the next day to finish the job. The crew did return on December 19th to finish the job and Ben sent me a text stating that he had inspected everything and that it looked great. Since I had arrived home late that evening I did not look at the gutters until the next morning, December 20th. When I went to inspect everything, I noticed that the downspouts of the gutters were all at different heights, and that some of the gutters were draining directly next to the foundation. My understanding is that gutters are supposed to divert the rain water away from the foundation to avoid shifting of the foundation, so gutters that dump rain right next to my foundation were unacceptable. Also the fact that the downspouts were all various lengths looked unprofessional. I had also paid for screens to be installed on the gutters so that leaves would not accumulate in the gutters. When inspecting the screens, I noticed that there were a couple of gaps between screens that were installed, totally defeating the purpose of the screen. I contacted Ben on December 20th via text message and sent him photos of the things that I would like corrected. On December 30th, a different individual, in a completely different vehicle with yet another gutter company name and phone number on the side, came to inspect the gutters and see what corrections needed to be made. This same individual then returned on December 31st and finished the job satisfactorily. I feel that this company does use subcontractors to complete their gutter jobs, or at least several different crews, and the quality of workmanship depends on which crew you get. I have included photos of the different vehicles that showed up to my house, and the downspouts of various lengths. In the end I am happy with my gutters, but the whole process was frustrating.
