My windows aren't very clean. I've changed my rating to 1 star due to the harassing text he sent me after my review and his response below. This is 1 person. Not a company with workers. To his credit it was late afternoon when he washed them, but the next morning in the sunlight, you could see the film and residue on the windows. See my photos. I texted him with photos to let him know, and he said he would come back. He didn't show yesterday or communicate with me to let me know he needed to reschedule. Paid Mike Solano to add a gutter extension. I was out of town when he was available but I trusted him to do the job right and complete it. He asked for payment before I got home and said he needed to come back to add a piece to secure the gutter. He told me several times he was coming back to finish the job but never showed and stopped responding. He told me he was local and did a lot of work around my area but never could come back to finish the job. So now the gutter is starting to bend and the curve he added is leaking. so overall, just a lousy job. Would never use him again. read more

If you're reading this I bet you're thinking, "do they really have all 5-star reviews? That's not possible." BUT IT IS!! From the call to get a quote, to arriving, cleaning & following up Mike was incredible. His customer service is a breath of fresh air in a space where customer service doesn't seem to exist any longer. He returned calls, was detailed in his services, gave plenty of notice when he'd arrive, did an amazing job on our windows (more on that later) & was absolutely delightful to be around. We recently got new windows & the company paid for us to have the windows professionally cleaned so I reached out Dallas Windows & Gutter Cleaning. Mike was able to get me in the following week (prior to my daughter's 1st birthday as I'd hoped) & gave me a quote over the phone. He followed up a couple days before arriving & also gave me a text heads up when he was on the way with his ETA. Mike's military background shined through in his respectful nature, hard work, attention to detail & desire to leave us 100% satisfied. In addition, this is a family business which delighted us. His two children & wife accompanied him on the job and wow, it's been a long time since I've met such respectful & kind children. They worked just as hard as their parents did & were an incredible team. When all (41) windows had been cleaned Mike walked the entire house re-checking & went back to perfect a handful of them without me even asking. He asked that I walk the house & make sure they were to my 100% satisfaction. They worked HARD on our windows - there was still sticker glue, caulking & silicone left by the installers which Mike & his family spent a great deal of time working to get off the glass. Just bought an older home in Frisco and of course it is surrounded by large trees with leaves that don't stop falling. Found out the hard way during the last few heavy downpours that water was overflowing out of the sides of several gutters (and even came inside and ruined one of my freshly painted walls) because they were completely clogged. I was very happy to find not only a family owned but also a veteran owned business here locally. Mike very happily came out and gave me a reasonable estimate on cleaning my gutters and was able to start work within a couple days. He showed me the problem areas of the house where leaves were piling up - I had asked him about putting in leaf guards (he didn't try to upsell me) because I didn't want to have to deal with this again and he was able to provide me an estimate and have them installed the following week. The leaf guards turned out to be a very high quality product and I was pretty confident I wouldn't have to have the gutters cleaned again. They turned out great, check out my photos. We have storm windows at our home and knew we needed to hire a professional to clean them. We were interested in this company because it was owned by a vet - many family members, including both our dads and brother were vets. However, we ran into some serious problems with this window cleaning service. 1). We were told that for $50 a window, a crew of 8 people would be hired all day Saturday to clean them. When a family of 7 arrived and most were under the age of 10 to clean the windows that was a surprise. 2). The cleaning equipment consisted entirely of spray and microfiber towels. Instead of washing the windows, they were going to wipe them. 3). When we mentioned our disappointment in the above to the owner, he responded in a very loud and aggressive manner. He went on and on about being a vet and this was a family business. He even appeared to have a temper tantrum over it and threw a bucket of towels and squeegees out of his trunk to show that he had more equipment. He was very unprofessional in complaining to his children about my husband. That should have a been a reason to fire him on the spot, but we stuck it out. It took them three tries to get the windows cleaned and they never looked as clean as the last company left them. Needless to say, we will never hire them again. read more

We had Mike come can do our residential windows both outdoor and indoor. He came on Halloween day and did a great job. He respected our wishes with Covid precautions and was very efficient. We hired this company to clean our windows in April 2021. I thought that we were hiring a crew of professionals to clean our windows. We were very surprised when Mike showed up with his three children to clean our windows. After he left we noticed that several of the windows had not been cleaned properly. We asked him to come back immediately to finish the job that we had paid him for. He indicated that he wasn't available for at least a week. We were having an open house in a few days so this was unacceptable to us. We decided not to have him come back as we needed the windows cleaned immediately for our showings. Mike was not professional with us when we had a problem. We made it clear to him that he was putting us in a difficult position and that we needed him to come right away to finish the job. He complained that he had other customers scheduled. In my opinion, if you don't do a good job the first time then you should come after hours to complete the project immediately (you should not make a customer wait because you have other jobs when the job they paid you for was not done well). I want to mention that Mike was friendly at the beginning of our relationship. He was not as friendly when there was a problem. He needs to be professional when things do not go well. We were left in a very stressful situation while trying to sell our home. I do not recommend his services. He should have disclosed that his children would be coming to work with him. This was not a comfortable situation as some of his children are young. read more

I agree with the other glowing reviews. Mike and son are lightning-fast but do a very good job. And our numerous solar screens didn't phase them at all. Mike even did us a favor by bringing his tall ladder inside to lock a window that was far too high for us to reach with our ladders. (We only hired him to clean the windows on the outside.)
