This place is worth going to. They do a good job washing and detailing car and suvs. All the heavy hitters come here, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Lamborghinis, you name it you will see it. That shows something. They know how to keep expensive vehicles looking, expensive. Its affordable @ $30 for a basic wash. Gave them a 4 star because while they do have a waiting room. They never had the air conditioner on during summer out of the 3 times I went. Turn on that a.c. and get 5 stars. Oh they also have a cool custom stretched with a fat tire Suzuki Hayabusa on display. Can't say enough good things about this place. Every time my car comes out like new w the basic wash. My last visit was unfortunate...since my car broke thanks to the bad work done by the dealership and was undriveable stuck at their rooftop. Edwin was top notch and let me keep the car there without charging me for 4 days since no towing company was able to get it down. I really appreciate him bearing with me thru this nightmare. Amazing work, I almost didn't recognize my own car - thorough, immaculately clean inside and out - nice touch taking anything and everything that's in the cabin of the car and neatly putting it all in a bag and storing it in the trunk. I have brought various motorcycles here for a wash and they do a great job with getting into all the little spots to make sure the bike is clean. They don't just do surface wash like many of the other guys. The wait can be long here but if you catch them on off hours, you'll be in and out quick. read more

I took the long drive to bring in my crossover to have it half ass washed and got charged $55 and when I asked why the price the individual taking payments answered it's a full size SUV. My vehicle is the same size of a Toyota corolla with a hatchback that's all and for $55 I think it's a complete rip off especially when they never bothered opening the gas tank door and never opened the hatch to dry up the excess water after the "wash". To top that off the individual taking payment refused to take my debit card, he said only cash which made no sense to me but I guess they will never see my $$ again. read more

Very very unhappy with the wash I got tonight from this place. First off I am extremely upset with all of the swirl marks and scratches they put in my paint. It's unbelievable how bad the swirls look. The guy lies and tells me that they use the two bucket method when they were just moving around dirt on their pad all over my paint. To top it off they weren't accepting cards and I had to walk a few blocks in the cold to withdraw money. I will never go there again and I will never refer anyone to this place. Not only did I waste 50$ but now I have to get these swirls and scratches polished out. read more

I had a decent first experience there however, the second time around was a horrifying experience. A rookie was assigned to work on my car, I appreciated his effort however, he did not know what he was doing and did not understood English. He used the same rag to clean the bottom portion of car to the top portion of the car (which should never be the case, as you can carry debris that can scratch up your clear coat). He used excessive elbow grease to work on the car (you should never use excessive force to clean a car, this causes swirl marks). As a result my black car has excessive swirl marks that weren't there before. I know because I personally detail and hand wash my car all the time and the car is garaged. They need to train new staff before they are allowed to touch customer's cars. read more

I would give this place no stars if it allowed me to. This was my first time coming here and j would never come here again. I wanted to get a car wash as well as an underbody wash. I called the place prior to coming here to see if they were able to clean my car and they said "yes". I dropped my car off at 5pm today and they said to come back at 7pm and it will be done. Mind you, the only reason why I came to Astoria was to get my car cleaned. I came back at 7pm with my husband and they said they couldn't lift my Lexus up to get an underbody wash (which I can understand even though they said they were able to in the beginning). BUT, they didn't clean ANYTHING else. They could have at least cleaned the exterior and interior of my car. I spent 2 hours waiting for absolutely NOTHING. My car is still dirty. I asked to speak to a manager and they said he wasn't there. I asked why my car wasn't at least washed and he stated that the manager didn't instruct them to wash the car. They should have at least a better system where they take the customers numbers and call them if they can't do something with the car or have other questions. I will not be coming back to this place ever again and will not be recommending this place to any other person. read more

Once again I was disappointed with my second visit here. I decided to call before bringing my car here, unfortunately no one answered the phone. When I arrived, the customer service was subpar. I paid for an interior detail ($130); the end result looked okay except they didn't do the ceiling of the interior. The package supposedly came with an exterior wash, however, they missed the bird dropping that was on the car. Such a great, awesome experience. I had Edwin do an Xpel clear bra, rear bumper coverage and some Ceramic Pro coatings on my Porsche 911 Turbo S. Great guy to work with, very easy, affable and polite. Others have said that he and his staff treat the car as if it was theirs and it's completely true. Took my Infiniti here for tints all the way from Long Island because of their stellar reviews, they did an amazing job. They use top of the line 3M tint not cheap film like many other places. I noticed they did detailing too so I brought my mom's Mercedes here as well, the car came out like brand new. read more

I was so excited to go to Hydros Auto Spa to get my car detailed after I had bought a groupon (basic interior/exterior auto detail). I live in the area so I thought it was the perfect way to check out the place and see if I wanted to start bringing my car here to get cleaned. I called ahead and made an appointment, as per the instructions, and went on the appointed day...The car was dropped off at 8:30am and was told it would be done around 6 or 6:30pm... although that seemed like a lot of time for a small car to get done I was fine with it. When I came to pick up the car I had to wait an hour for it to get done, I was told it would take 15 more minutes around 6:45pm but it took another 45. I understand that I purchased a groupon and I dont have a luxury car so maybe I am not a high priority here since 3 other people that were waiting before me and got their cars before I did and I am pretty sure their cars weren't dropped off at 8:30am. To wait an hour on top of leaving my car an entire day at this place after making an appointment is absurd... very disappointed. read more

Nice guys, but inconsistent/sloppy. I took my dads car here last summer after using it for several months and not cleaning it. In general I am neither a clean freak or a dirt bag. They did a pretty decent job for a basic wash inside and out that cost under $40 iirc. This week I took my vehicle that had been detailed once right after I got it, about two months ago (used, but in good condition). Not only did they leave HUGE streaks of grime on the rear bumper and bird droppings on the roof, but I had purchased a $100 package, and paid a tip on top of that. They even left the filmy residue by the cup holders. It was a really sloppy job, and with places charging $25-$50 less for a full inside/outside and hand wax (the package I purchased featured spray-on) I feel ripped off. This was on a Monday and I left it with them all day, so they were neither busy or rushed. I'd go back to register a complaint, but don't live in the city. read more

Brought my Audi S4 here because it had decent reviews to get tints and the chrome window molding wrapped in black vinyl. The installer did a terrible on the tints, there are bubbles and dust behind the film on every window. Even worse, when he was wrapping the chrome molding he cut into my paint with a razor blade on my doors in 5 different locations!! I showed the owner and he agreed to have the areas painted by some sketchy body shop next door. I refused to take it there and insisted on taking it to my body shop. After all that, It took me 6 weeks to finally collect the money from the owner and then he refused to give me a refund for the tints which were horribly installed. I now have to take the owner to Small Claims Court to get my refund. Overall just an absolutely terrible experience from beginning to end. $350 worth of work and they caused $1300 worth of damage to my car. Look elsewhere! read more
