I could not have asked for a better lash technician!!!! All of my experiences with Tina have always been positive. She is super professional and my lashes look great!!! My lashes last a long time( if you don't brush and take care of them they don't last as long but if you don't take care of them that's your fault just saying) I was afraid of getting lash extensions because I have had friends and family members tell me that it damages your lashes. I went to Tina after I had a horrible reaction to the eyelash extensions that someone else had put in the day before. Long story short, Tina explained to me that the type of lashes that the other person had put in were not eyelash extension material and that they were "nail salon lashes". Tina compared the lashes she uses to the ones that I had on my eye. She also explained that the type of glue that was used contained harsh chemicals that could irritate my and that it was comparable to "super glue". In addition, she also stated that the placement of the lashes weren't correct and that the person who did it shouldn't have placed it below my lashes in the inner skin near the eyeball. Tina did an amazing job of extracting the extensions without getting any of my real lashes during the removal process. I would highly recommend anyone to see Tina to get lash extensions from her or to remove a horrible extension that has gone wrong. This was the worst $100 I spent! The first day, the first couple fell off. The second day a few fell off. I told the young lady that I wanted to wake up so I didn'r have to do the eyelashes that you glue on (I have done them everyday since 6th grade) because I am having hand surgery. When I woke up the very next day, I still had to glue an eyelash strip. I didn;t have any more eyelashes than when I came in. She also said that this was not her "lifelong occupation." Eyelashes come off every day. It's only been 2 days. Maybe she is okay if you already have some eyelashes but I did wear the my sample. She is horrible! and now I need to spend more money to get them fixed. You are nice but you do not know what you are doing!!!!!!!! Enjoy your $100! read more

Instead of asking anything about my experience, she name called and attacked my character rather than what was said. (Actually a logical fallacy "ad hominem") I get it. It's hard to read negative comments. My intent is not to hurt anyone's feelings or step on their toes, just let people know what MY experience was. Clearly others have had better experiences. Everyone can decide for themselves what they want to do. *********** I bought a groupon for here because I saw the positive reviews. When I went there, the woman that the groupon was for apparently, was someone new and she didn't have much experience. She had the pads very high up on my eyelids and it was very uncomfortable. She had to ask the owner a couple of times for assistance with my lashes for issues she had (which I'm glad she asked rather than just went fwd). Unfortunately, the quality was not great. As my lashes were growing out, it was obvious that my own natural lashes were glued together, and they were being pulled out. When I went to my next lash artist, she said that it was so bad, that there were a few "bald" areas where she could see the lashes had been pulled out...and that I should have them relash--but uhm, why would I go back to them to relash if they didn't do it well the first time. How do I know the next lashing would create future bald spots? Not only was the quality not great, the look was not. They asked which lashes that I wanted. I usually do classic, they thought the volume would look good on me. The owner told me hers were volume--and hers looked great! So, I agreed. When the novice person was finished, my lashes were MUCH more full and clumpy than the owners, and I did not like it. Her response was that well hers were 2 wks old!! What??! Why wouldn't you tell me that up front?? That information would have been helpful before. Although, actually, when I expressed that I didn't like the lashes and it wasn't what I had asked for, the owner closed her eyes and took a deep breath, as if I were a difficult client because I didn't like the work/result--but she told me to get something that didn't look like what she had?! So, actually, yes, I guess even professionalism towards me. She kept reminding me also that I purchased a groupon....which means--what exactly? That your decision to use groupon for marketing doesn't matter because I paid a discount price for the service? It was a bit off-putting. In sum, out of the MANY places I have tried over the years...this was the bottom of the list (the absolute bottom)--if that tells you anything. Again, quality may be different if you get the owner. But for MY experience this one time, with the one artist, I would NEVER go back here. My phone broke, but if I can still retrieve the images off of it, I have pictures of the lashes, and it's very obvious. Once I saw the pics from my new artist, I saw how bad it was and the bald areas--which I did not have prior to seeing this business. read more

I've been going to Tina for about 8 months now, and it's been nothing but good experiences. I developed a weird allergy to regular glue, so Tina used her sensitive glue on me (and a few other techniques) and boy what a difference! I can have lashes again! I was always so hesitant on getting eye lash extensions just because I was nervous they wouldn't look good on me and they would pull my original eye lashes off but coming to Tina I was reassured and made feel comfortable that they would look great and would not harm my eye lashes. Tina is amazing! She came over to my house and set up all her stuff fairly quickly. The process of doing my eye lashes was about an hour long. She makes you feel super comfortable. I have very sensitive eyes and her products didn't irritate me at all. She's very gentle and careful when applying the lashes. She's never poked me. I've never been disappointed with her work. My lashes usually last about 2-3 months but it depends on your own personal after care and lashes. read more

She's great. I have had my eyelashes done all over Los Angeles: DTLA, Beverly Hills, Beverly Grove, Pacific Palisades; Bel Air, Long Beach, Santa Monica, and Korean Town when I was on a budget. A lot of places you order volume but they still give you mixed eyelashes. Some places take 2:30 hours and you're unable to move. They overdo the glue so you wake up unable to open your eyes. Or they get stuff in your eyes unapologetically like it's your fault. You get clumps. They do everything great the first time only to get cheap lashes that fall out quickly if they see you will be a regular. There is a groupon so instead of saying they can't accept it when times are tight they give you a less than product. Places that don't care about animals or the environment, giving you mink lashes from fur farms. Not here. She gives you what you pay for. Service is consistent. She recycles the eyelash wands. No products that perpetuate animal cruelty. And overall genuine person trying to make the beautiful. Support her as a local business. read more
