I was not compensated in any way for my review, other than my absolute satisfaction with the services she provided and the amazing results! I had wanted to have a Lash Lift for quite a while, but always hesitated because of my concerns about working around the delicate eye area. Also, I was a little skeptical that the results would look as amazing as shown in photos. But a friend had referred me to Monica after I admired her lashes and I decided to read the reviews about her and her services and I felt comfortable making an appointment for a Lash Lift. From the initial consultation, up to the actual service, Monica was very timely and professional with all of her correspondence and was very accommodating of all of my questions. She made me feel very comfortable going into it. When you enter her studio, it's charming interior and calming vibe are perfect for enjoying a relaxed procedure. The Lash Lift took about an hour, but it was an effortless, relaxing hour while Monica and I chatted away. There was no discomfort, at all! I was pretty surprised at how easy the procedure was! When she finished and I was able to see the curl set on my lashes, I was truly amazed at how easy it was! But the real surprise was how she was able to set the smallest, shortest lashes in the corners of my eyes, that I usually pinched off by accident when curling my own lashes! They were all curled perfectly! It's now been nearly 2 months since my Lash Lift and my lashes are still nicely curled, despite water-proof mascara, make-up remover and even rubbing my eyes! I can't tell you how much time I save and how nice it is to not have to use the eye lash curling gadgets that always pinch or leave a harsh, sharp angle on my lashes! Even without any mascara, I love my curled lashes and I would even go without mascara sometimes! The curl looks soft and natural and gives the eyes a more "awake" look, so mascara isn't always needed. Game changer! I had never gotten my brows done before but I've been insecure about them after years of over plucking and filling them in every day. I contacted Monica to get a lamination and tint because I wanted to give it a shot and I didn't want anything permanent. I wasn't sure what to expect on day 1, it takes a day to set in and you can't wash your face same day after the treatment but when I woke up the next morning and refreshed my skin, combed my brows, and filled them in just a bit, I'm super happy with them. The arch is a little high for me so next time I'll ask her not to make them so arched, but they look natural and I'm now open to getting them done by her again!
