I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before training here. Before starting, I clearly explained to the owner that I had previously recovered from a serious injury in 2022 and needed a safe, carefully managed program focused on rebuilding strength. He assured me that he would oversee my training plan, even on days I worked with another trainer. I trained both with the owner and a second trainer. My sessions with the owner were positive, and I felt the workouts were appropriate. However, the issue arose with the second trainer. Although I was paying the higher rate specifically because the owner said he would supervise all programming, that oversight did not happen in practice. At one point, I communicated that I was experiencing pain in my right hip/groin area and asked to scale things back. Despite this, the trainer had me perform exercises like barbell squats and farmer carries. I explicitly asked whether these were safe given my condition, and I was assured they were. They were not. Following these sessions, I was later diagnosed with a labral tear, which has significantly impacted my mobility and required extensive recovery, time, and financial investment. I'm not writing this to attack a small business, but I do believe this situation reflects: * Lack of proper supervision * Inadequate adjustment for injury history * Poor judgment when a client reports pain If you're considering training here, I strongly recommend making sure: * Your program is truly customized * Communication about pain is taken seriously * The level of supervision matches what you're paying for This experience had a serious impact on my health and daily life, and I hope sharing it helps others avoid a similar situation. read more

Wow this studio is amazing, not only that but everything is new and very clean! On my first session i didn't know what to expect. I go to the gym almost everyday still be ok... after my session i was gassed and sweating buckets! It really makes a difference when you have a trainer guiding and watching your movements, the little things like keeping your eyes on the mirror as you deadlift activates more of the muscles which i learned from the trainer! They make sure your posture and movements are on key so you don't injure yourself which is awesome. I really appreciate the great feedback while I'm doing the workouts. The interior has a nice modern vibe and restroom is top notch! It's inside a nice looking plaza and right off the freeway which is great! Mos def coming back here! FACILITY: facility has state of the art equipment and is clean. Each person in the session gets their own "station" which includes a power rack, barbells, weights, TRX, bench and bands. In conjunction to the community dumbbells and kettlebells, they have everything you need for you to get an incredible work out in. Hypecore fitness has been a great addition to my wife and I's fitness regimen. We initially started training to get into wedding shape. Melrick and the other trainers (Brandon and Justin) helped cater our workouts based on our individual goals. Not only did the regimens reestablish our core but we both have definitely noticed an increase in both our strength and energy levels. He also was able to pick up on our individual areas of weakness that he helped strengthen with specific workouts. Even after the wedding, we've continued to workout here. Carrying on from my previous review, Julian is the best trainer - still going strong since 2018. At first, I didn't know what to expect since I have never had a personal trainer before. He explains everything very well and knows what he's talking about. I initially signed up for the 3 month package, but got carried away with it due to the results and discipline. The workouts are very well planned and tiring, but they are well worth it. He is also very sociable and wants you to be there. At first I wasn't interested in the semi-private training because I wanted something more 1 on 1, but I gave the semi-private classes a chance and I can confidently say it's 100% worth the money. I joined Hypecore fitness back in May, and it's been a great experience! I'm embarrassed to say, but prior to joining Hypecore, I hadn't worked out in like 3 years. The truth is I was completely out of shape. I desperately wanted to get back into shape and really focus on strength training, I was nervous about going back to a gym. Especially a big chain gym. Training at hype has been great! Smaller gym with premium equipment and luxury restroom feel! Without the luxury price tag Lol. But the price and overall experience is great. I'm used to paying premium for a personal trainer, but after coming to this gym it made me realize I was being overcharged before! One of the cleanest gyms I have been in. On top of high class gym equipments, they also have professional private trainers who are very supportive of your current physical capabilities and pushes you to achieve more as long as it safely permits. A great bonus is we were able to bring our kids with us while we work out with no judgment (because kids can be disruptive lol). I've been trying to lose weight and I've had really bad experiences with other personal trainers before. Before coming here, I've been in between motivated and unmotivated in my fitness journey. I've been training at this gym for a bit now, and I'm very thankful for the trainers at Hype, they've pushed me hard and are have looked out for me this whole time. I've been training with Melrick in particular, and he displays a high level of professionalism and care, even if its during a 5 am training session. I really enjoy the "studio-like" space, it feels like I've got everything I need within my squat rack. Typically around the time that I train, I also work out along side other members of the gym, and I've never felt that I wasn't receiving attention or being ignored. In terms of pricing, its extremely fair for the service that I receive here, I train twice a week and I'm not sweating over my budget. Parking is plentiful, and there is a 7-11 nearby where I get my energy drinks for my workouts, sometimes I stop by The Hitch nearby so I can eat after workouts.
