The procedure was as expected in terms of time and pain (I didn't feel any pain during the procedure but afterwards as the medicine wore off the pain was apparent.) Fast forward to 2017 and my tooth that had a root canal chipped and I didn't bother to fix it until today. I moved from Illinois and my current dentist was worried that the decay went past the root canal. X-rays showed that his worst fear for my tooth was not a reality and upon looking further as he was fixing the damaged tooth he mentioned to me that the doctor who did my root canal did an extremely excellent job.
