Everyone is so nice and accommodating, even to a scaredy-cat like me. The staff go above and beyond normal protocol to make sure I'm comfortable and informed. They offer noise canceling headphones connected to the tv and hand me the remote, they proscribed me something to help with the panic attacks before each visit, they stop when I need a break and they even reschedule when I have a melt down.. no hard feelings. The office is beautiful and inviting. They accept tricare and offer military discounts. I have come here twice. While the staff is friendly, I think I will be trying somewhere else. I try to stay local. My gripes: The dental cleaning you don't get to pick your flavor for your cleaning, everywhere i have ever gone they give you umpteen different choices, the flouride had a few choices. I got three fillings and on teeth i didn't even know needed them, which is fine. However, now one of the teeth that didn't hurt before has a tinge of discomfort with anything i eat or touch on the top. Never had this problem before. My pluses: The office is nice and cozy, they even have a kids area with video games. You get in at your scheduled appt time, this is a huge plus. They have tvs for you to watch while your doing your dental work. I am just trying somewhere else because ive never had issues with fillings before, of course i will have to come back here for it to be corrected or fixed at no charge. UPDATE: I came back to get my fillings looked at and they looked at me like I was crazy. The dentist then told me that i have to wait a few weeks or months for my nerve to settle even though I am in frequent pain. My teeth didn't even hurt when I went in there, now they do. read more

My wife and I absolutely love the team at Park Place Dental. I once worked in Belleville and chose this dentist after a recommendation of a co-worker (and their location in the same office park). Since 2005, we have really enjoyed the experience. For someone who feared the dentist as a kid (or did we all have those nightmares?) Dr Shelton and his staffs' chair-side manners make something that isn't exactly enjoyable, relaxing. The knowledgeable staff, from the hygienists to the receptionists, always make you feel comfortable. They offer all the latest dental services and use the most state-of-the-art technology. Fillings take minutes. They accept most insurances. Very family friendly. Kids will enjoy the game room in the lobby! Their new location in Shiloh is very inviting and warm. Great family dentistry! The staff is very friendly and really seems to care about us (we're a family of four) and our experience. Our cleaning visits are always very smooth and on time. We've seen 3 of the 5 hygienist and they're all friendly and very gentle. Dr. Shelton is down to earth and easy to talk with. He seems to really know his stuff and isn't pushy - not trying to get us to do more than NEEDS to be done. When our then 5 year old needed 2 teeth pulled, Dr. Shelton was so smooth that our little guy wanted to look in the mirror to verify that the teeth were out! The office environment is family friendly with wi-fi, a TV and 3 (YES 3) video game consoles for the kids, and inclined parents, to fill the time. I believe that the size of the staff helps to make it really easy to get appointments, both for routine visits and emergencies. We seem to always be able to get in when we need/want to. We've even taken advantage of the Saturday hours that they have throughout the month. Finally, most people may not pay attention to this, but I like the fact that the staff seems to enjoy what they do and being there for us. Can't say enough good things about Dr Gallegos and the entire team at Park Place Dental. They are friendly professional and Dr Gallegos is an excellent Dentist. He also has a partner Dr Kevin Shelton. My wife had a toothache and although she was not a regular patient was able to get in quickly to see Dr Gallegos. (We called Park Place because of the excellent reviews they have received on Yelp.). The staff was very friendly and Dr Gallegos diagnosed a need for a root canal and crown. Dr Gallegos said although he does root canals this one would be a difficult procedure and recommended an Endodontist. Park Place has a patient advocate who called some specialists which they recommended and were able to get us an appointment. Very nice service they provide in helping us find a Endodontist. After the root canal Dr Gallegos was able to fit and put a crown in. Pretty painless. Dr Gallegos was kind patient and explained everything to my wife and I. This practice started out decent but has quickly gone downhill. Back in January I had my cleaning and needed a cavity filled. Because I was pregnant I was told they would make an appt in the second trimester to do a filling and another cleaning. They told me they would take care of insurance and got all the necessary information. Fast forward to less than a week out from my appt and I get a call saying they no longer can keep my appointment because I hadn't called my insurance to explain the pregnancy. My family thought this was going to be a great place for dentistry work but, after about 1 year and half we were wrong. My wife had a crown put in that needed to be fixed around three times and still to this day it is not fixed. She started to have toothache pain on the same tooth and after having to go back in for more x-rays for the 4th time, the Dentist Roxanne Dudovitz, DMD stated, she needed to have a root canal. Now why was this not determined to be done before the crown was put in? She now has to have a hole drilled through the crown and then a root canal performed. And the icing on the cake, I was told I needed a crown too and that my tooth may become infected if not taken care of but, I could not at the time as personal issues were going on, not that they need to know this but, that is what was going on, on why I did not do it and plus, after my wife was having issues, well, then that just made me hold it off. So just today, I was on Vacation in another state, and I started to have excruciating toothache pain on the same tooth that they diagnosed that I needed to have a crown but, I could not come to the dentist to resolve the toothache pain issue, so I called their office and asked for a prescription for an infection and pain relief. I was denied prescriptions by Shawna Dudovitz, DMD because she stated, they could not give a prescription until my tooth was once again evaluated in their office even though they had numerous x-rays over the past year and had diagnosed the issue. This was impossible for me to get to their office as I was very far away, and this was an emergency dental issue that needed to be taken care of in hours due to of my excruciating pain in my tooth that was shooting into my head. She did not care as a patient of their practice of what pain I told them I was in. I felt like they were thinking I just wanted pain medicine for no reason at all. I don't know if that is their policy or not but, they need to figure out how to make this better under an emergency circumstance. I had an appointment to see their office on the 12th of Sept. Why could they not give me a prescription a week out? I went to a Urgency Care and the doctor prescribed me an amoxicillin to clear up the infection and prescribed no pain medication. He stated, to take Tylenol or Advil for the pain. Now, why couldn't this be done by Shawna Dudovitz? My family will never go back to this place for dentistry again and I suggest you look elsewhere for your dentistry work too. read more

We LOVE Dr. Shelton and staff and glad we found him after not being in the area for 6 yrs. He used to be in Swansea but moved few yrs ago to Shiloh. We came for new/prior patient appointments last week and was like seeing old friends. The cleanings were awesome and the mint flavor was great ( I dont need more than one flavor, its not like it stays for hrs after ) The staff is very caring and friendly as is Dr Shelton himself. Identified a filling I need no pressure to get done, just advised and about cost. Awesome location and easy to find. Dr Shelton is very caring and aims for perfection. Ironically my wife crown cap fell off night before and he was able to cement back on at this visit, w/o making a seperate appt to fix ( like other Dentists require thus costing more $ ) While we dont have insurance, he does offer a 10% discount when paying for in full at time of appt. I have never ever experienced dental care as excellent as I have at Park Place. From the ever excellent customer service from the knowledgable front desk ladies to the back office specialists. I have never felt more comfortable. My children have even asked when do they get to go back. I am extremely impressed with the professionalism and acceptance this office has provided to my autistic brother who is scared to death of the dentist. He still to this day can not stop talking about how nice they were and how comfortable he felt with the friendly staff.
