He said we took a 20minute test drive and didn't have time for us anymore. Not sure what is going on. Is 20mins too long when you're spending 66k . Is there a time limit. Avoid Hyundai 112 at all costs. Salesperson Keith was ok but things fell apart when it came to Ed in finance. Terms changed several times and all was blamed on "the bank". Looking for a nearly 35% down payment on a $34k car. Also offered the lowest price on a trade in. Go see Yessenia in Centereach 112. Deal done in one visit, gave an additional $500 on trade in and another $500 off. Finance was a breeze with best terms, one sit down at desk, and no extra down payment due to "the bank". "The Bank" btw is just Hyundai, so you're really just looking at the ability of the finance person. Again avoid Ed. Lastly, took a while to get our $500 deposit back, had to finally dispute charge with Discover. Overall 112 Hyundai was like working with a proverbial used car dealer. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went into the dealership to look at a certified preowned Elantra. I worked with a man named Keith who showed me the car. The car had visible cracks and damage to both the grill and the bumper that was NOT shown in any of the pictures on their website. Keith told me that there are no hidden fees when working with Hyundai 112. However, Keith tried to increase the price by over $1,000 on top of the DMV and other fees that are always required. After being called out on this Keith tried to claim that this was to make the car "certified". The thing is, the car is already preowned certified through the dealership and company, it is already included in the listing price. Keith "did not know" that the car was preowned certified on their own website so I had to physically show him. He then said that "This changes things", he then went to his manager and lowered that random $1,000 fee they added onto the final price by $400...still having their made up fee. After I decided to leave and not buy the car, Keith became extremely rude and angry. He began to yell at me in front of everyone in the dealership and was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Claiming "Anywhere else you go you will get random fees!". After I left here I was able to find other dealerships who wouldn't try to scam me out of my money. Be weary of this this place! I went there 1 week ago because one of my fobs stopped working I've also begun noticing driver side window closing very slowly. I was told to leave the car for the day. They provided me with a Lfyt to go home. At 330pm, I called and car still wasnt looked at. At 430 I called again. Was told would need a new fob, and slow window caused by tints I've had on car for almost 3 years, which I dont believe. For one, I dont see how in less than 1 hour they couod have removed door panel, checked out motor, put it back, etc. I went back with Lfyt, was told they wouod need to order a new fob, and wouod call me for new appt. At first, advis9r told me would be 416$ plus tax. I told him I believe under warranty. Which he confirmed. The next day, recieved a call from a woman who scheduled me for today. Was told again. Wouod need to leave car for entire day. When I got there this morning, advisor told me this time fob would be 516$ plus tax, a 100 dollar increase. First I questioned why a 100$ more, then told him again ypu told me under warranty. He says oh yes, it is. I told him programming takes like an hour, so why do I need leave car all day? He says well, since I'm dropping it off it isnt a priority, smh. I asked to try to have it done by 1pm. I called at 130pm, says they about to look at it. Calls me back, and asks where did I leave new fob? I said what are you talking about? You said you would be ordering me one. Calls me back again, says was never ordered, would check with parts dept. Seems they had it in stock. Needless to say, very unhappy. And feel like advisor was trying to pocket money on me. Like, how does fob price increase by $100 in 1 week, and keep forgetting he told me covered under warranty??? And do bot believe their story about my window, nor do I think anyone actually ever tested it out. read more

The worst customer Service ever somebody broke into my car I needed a new ignition panel. It took them four weeks. There were no loaner cars. I paid out-of-pocket for a Rent-A-Car. They could not have cared less. Gina who answered the phone was wonderful. The guy I dealt with was Bill he was atrocious. I went there in person. He would not even look up from his iPad at my face. So I get a SHIT attitude bc I'm only here to find out what's going on with my car that I've made 4 payments on already and have yet to truly OWN IT!!! FYI: water leaks and 2inches of water across the passenger side of the vehicle deems them to replace the windshield seal, Hunt down a new rug and send us on our way. After it sat in the parking lot for WEEKS in the beating sun, no windows open. No ventilation. Nothing. Do some research and tell me how long it takes for mold to grow on surfaces and fabrics without proper ventilation and moisture removal!? I'll wait... NEW 2024 lease. 400 miles. Water leak from manufacturing and 2 months later, we still have ZERO ANSWERS. ZERO resolution. Zero finish line. Brought car in for routine maintenance. All was fine or so I thought. Some time later when I pulled down my front visor with mirror I noticed dirty finger prints all over the mirror and a significant scratch on the interior material of the visor. As I expected when I called they are denying they had anything to do with it and wont do anything about it. I obviously can't prove it. I have had bad experiences with both Mazda Service and now Hyundai. I will have to take my business elsewhere in the future and I suggest you do as well. read more

To whom it may concern.. My name is David H and I will be taking Hyundai 112 in Medford NY to court for not honoring the extended warranty I purchased at a price of $2450. I purchased a Hyundai Tucson 2019 used on April 10,2022. The car broke down with a seized engine (lack of oil) on February 1,2024. I had the car inspected at the dealership and they are not honoring the warranty on the claim of no service records from June 1,2020-April 10,2022. I did not own the car at this point of time. I have all paperwork showing proof of purchase, payment, service records from April 10,2022- February 1,2024. I can also prove that I was not due for an oil change for at least 1k more miles. I will be filing a lawsuit in Suffolk County Court this week. Also they took over 6 weeks to loook at the vehicle and it's been a 14 week process to get the final decision today. Shithole I told them to check the starter on my vehicle, they replaced the battery for $200, I used it a day and it wouldn't start. I couldn't start it until after about the 3rd or 4th day trying randomly. Got it back to them and after two more days they tell me it's the starter and want $600 for parts and labor on top of the $200 I gave them and the $50 in Uber's and Lyft's I've been taking to work and a very important interview- Trying not to stress about their incompetence was rough to say the least. Nothing from them but waiting around and grief at every turn. They even put me into an unmanned line, directing me automatically to a voicemail every time I called for an entire day when I was just trying to get a single update. Shady, who knows what they did with the car in that time. They told me my aftermarket alarm was on the fritz after being there all that time (it came with the brand new car, wasn't aftermarket, and never had a single issue before) god only knows what else the messed up- I'm bringing it to a real mechanic after I leave. I'm now sitting waiting for them to hand me the keys because I refuse to let them work on it however it's taking a suspiciously long time to hand me my keys. I won't be back. I will be writing corporate. I'll probably never even buy Hyundai again & certainly nothing from this entire auto-group or their affiliates. read more

My 2018 Tucson completely died on Sunrise Highway with my baby in the car. Car was towed to an independent mechanic who recognized immediately that it died due to the faulty engine that Hyundai installed in millions of cars. Horrible horrible service department. I purchased my 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe back in June 2021. This past August, my AC went out. After brining it to your dealership service dept, I was advised it was fixed. I picked up my car, and the next day the AC stopped working, again. When I brought it back in, I was told the fuse box had melted and they were unsure why that would happen on a BRAND NEW car so an engineer from hyundai was coming out to check. Turns out I needed a brand new wiring harness that they did not know when they would receive the part. My car was in your shop for over 3MONTHS and I did not get the car back until 11/21. (MY car was there from Aug 15- 11/21). Absolutely terrible communication from your service department. Fast forward to now- This past weekend while out, my brakes locked up and everything lit up on my dashboard. Car wouldn't move and had to be towed to your dealership where it is currently is sitting. When calling your service department ,they informed me that they can't even look at the car for two weeks and on top of that, do not have any loaners to provide me. Absolutely unacceptable. I bought Hyundai due to the contract saying you would provide me with a loaner car. I have moved forward with filing a case with Hyundai corp. You have lost a customer for life. read more

Gotta say, I'm not one for reviews but being the business it's really shitty when you walk in a place and not one person acknowledges you. Went there with my wife and daughter, towards the end of the shift. Got there at 7 they close at 8. Went with the intent of buying a vehicle and leasing a vehicle. We walk in, it's not busy but there's a guy working the floor and another guy at a desk. No one asked if we need help, even if you're busy just assure the customer that someone will be with you shortly. None of that, I showed my wife the vehicle, checked out the options walked outside to see the other vehicles on my own. Since still not a person said anything we decided to leave but at this point I'm fuming because what's the problem we don't look like we can afford the vehicle or aren't dressed to your standards. So I go back in and the guy says "can I help you guys" So clearly if I came back in alone you knew it was a family that needed help. This is the nicest the review is going to get because what I want to really say I'm gonna keep that to myself. Blew the easiest 2 car deal, I WILL NEVER and I mean NEVER spend a dime there, refer people, or buy ANYTHING from that dealership. Just bought out the lease on a 2019 Elantra. The experience was brutal. Salesman Tony was fine at first and then turned into a first class jerk when we settled on purchasing the car instead of leasing or buying a new one. Discussion was complete within 20 minutes, two hours later I'm speaking to the Manager explaining it's time to wrap this up! I know Tony was taking his time with the paperwork although I'm unsure why. After speaking with Manager we were out the door in 10 minutes. My daughter, at least a car two weeks ago after two weeks the car horn began blowing and when shut off the airbag light was on and the check engine light was on she brought the car back to the dealer and they couldn't look at it that day they couldn't look at it the next day they couldn't give her a car and they told her to go rent one and they would eventually reimburse her. We know how that will go. The car is been there five days now they still don't know what's wrong with it. They're lying through their teeth about the fact that they were looking at it and they have no car to give her to use. She's pregnant with twins. It's her first pregnancy. She's stressing out very upset and having to lie on people to pick up and drop her off at work where she works in Riverhead from Mastic Beach. This is ridiculous. The salesman doesn't really care once he sold the car he's like I have nothing to do with it. His name is Greg she trusted him... he's not even checking on it and I have to pick her up tomorrow to bring her to work and then she has to rely on someone else to come get her at 10 o'clock at night. Use to really love Hyundai 112 until now. I've purchased two vehicles from Hyundai 112. A Santa Fe which I love and a IONIQ 5 which is now sitting there for three weeks. While I understand they are waiting for a part to arrive. However the service department has not been staying in regular contact with me. In addition they are understaffed and you can tell they are frustrated every time I call them. I've even spoken to Mary who was supposed to contact me to keep me updated but have yet to hear back. Darlene who I spoke to told me the "parts department is closed" and she couldn't get me a status update on the part. I am a bit angry now and can no longer recommend anyone using this dealership which is a damn shame. read more

I completely understood that and had asked to test drive the regular Elantra he flat out said no. I don't know what his problem was and regardless of what it was, he profiled me as I walked in there probably assuming I was fooling around about buying a car. Just leased my second (and last) care from Hyundai 112. My salesman, Dan, kept me waiting over 40 minutes even though I had an appointment - he told me he's always helping at least 3 people at a time. I decided on a car that day. Signed the paperwork while being told several times by Dan "be sure to fill out the survey I'll get and be sure to give all outstanding" He then took me to my waiting car and went over the settings saying more or less "this is such and such, but you already know that" I got out of the car to walk around to the driver's side to thank him, but he was already walking away from me - not even a handshake. Finance is another story. not sure if it was TK who helped me that day, but I was overcharged by $90 which would have gone unnoticed if I hadn't been looking over the paperwork. Wouldn't refund me that day - had to wait several days. Was never told about my payment schedule. Foolishly thought it would remain the same biweekly as the previous car. Called TK for the past 1.5 weeks and left message 4 times - spoke to him on the phone only 2. He said he would call their bank to arrange. Has not been done. Message I get is....you bought the car and now we're done with you. Guess what - I'm done with them. Strongly advise not to go to this dealership. Very unprofessional and very dismissive. read more

Over the years I have had many unpleasant experiences leasing cars but this was my first experience with Hyundai 112 and everyone was AMAZING. It began with phone conversations with Rich (sales manager). He had a lot of patience with me changing my mind with models, color choices and prices. I always felt he was courteous, fair and knowledgeable. I got the exact car I wanted and I LOVE my new Sonata. Vinney was my Sales Person and he was a pleasure - very kind and helpful. He took care of EVERYTHING for me before I even arrived. Tom, the Finance manager was also quick, efficient and wonderful. I never felt pressured. I made an appointment three weeks ago, for today, at 8:30 right when they open to have my side mirror fixed. I went in there, first customer, no one else in the service department, was talked to you right away. They took my info, took my keys, took my number down to call me when it was done. Was told an hour tops, call three hours later, I was told my car was going to be in the lot all day and they close at four and the customer service woman said she's repeated herself three times because I apparently didn't understand her, and what can she do to make me less aggravated? Soon to find out that was a lie.A week after I purchased the car I already had to buy a new tire, few days later my radio breaks. I called them up they said don't worry about it bring the car in.had my boyfriend drive my Jeep there while I drove the fusion (30 min drive) to be called up the next day and told it's broken and I need to pay $500 to fix it. Later was told by the Manager that nobody told me not to worry about cost( Bc he claims he was standing next to the guy I was on the phone with who told me that) bullshit.... I wouldn't of driven there and have my bf drive the Jeep knowing I'd have to do the same on the way back if I knew I'd have to pay for it. So I said forget it I'll live with out the radio, I'll have to fix it sometime in the future before I return the car because I know they will blame it on me. At the same time the radio stopped working properly I made them aware the visor had broken and to check that out when I dropped the car off for the radio. After I picked the car back up I got a call to confirm it was broke and that they would get back to me.. ofc no one did. As I'm driving the entire thing falls from the roof. Leaving me not able to block the sun and blocking my window to the left of the drivers seat. I call and get transferred to a voicemail(understandable I called past 5 so the sales manager was gone) at this point I am just angry and upset I left and voice mail with Manny my sales guy who I later apologized for some harsh words because it's not his fault he works for a company of money hungry scam artist I called back the dealership and asked to be transferred to any human and not a voice mail I was asked what's the problem I explained everything and was told that it wasn't her problem. Which is why I didn't want to explain in the first place bc I know a $12hr paid receptionist was not going to act professional with and upset customer but more importantly be able to help me I asked her only to do her job and transfer me. Mike the sales manager calls me back. Talking to me like a high school teacher and I'm a student. Get nowhere with him I'm sure we were both angry, was called a lier was accused of threatening him. Wouldn't be surprised if he comments his side of the story, very child like no professionalism, I sold worse products as a sales women since I was 14 Iv never once told an angry customer their problems were not mine.Anyway to end my story I will be fixing all the problems the car came with with my money. Courtesy was unfortunately expected by me even if a 6$ piece for a visor wasn't covered under warranty. They'd rather an unhappy customer then pay for that. And believe me money is not the issue here. It terrible service and rude employees I would've bought a Jeep on the side of the road if I wanted to invest money into a used car. If I can give anyone advice if you don't mind putting money into the cars from here this is the place to go, if your son or daughter if getting there first car, save your money and go elsewhere although I'm not sure anywhere else would be any different . My sons Ionic wouldn't start it's a 2017 and has less than 50k on it. He had it towed to the Medford Hyundai and it's 8 days today and they still haven't looked at it. They told him they couldn't give him a loaner car until they knew what the problem was but they haven't even looked at the car yet. My son is a ED nurse and needs the car to get back and forth to work. He has called continuously to get answered but NO ONE CAN BE BOTHED.
