NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP DO NOT PURCHASE WARRANTY We bought a 2017 Tahoe from this place - dealt with Joe our salesman. The guy did nothing but lie - I even started recording the phone conversations and playing them back to show how crazy of a liar he was with us. The whole experience from the paperwork not being done right , the car not being ready or cleaned when we came to pick up, they don't even put gas in the tank! We had issues with car after ( AC didn't work, roof leaked, had to replace brake pads after they claimed to have just done them... Never returned our phone calls of course. We ended up having another dealership work on the car and said they are known for being scumbags. They tried to go though the extended warranty we purchased through capital motors and it was very limited in what they covered. For example, they covered the new AC condenser ( but wouldn't cover the freon to refill it). They only reimburse up to $100 per hour for the technicians time so you have to pay the difference in what the dealership charges per hour. If something isn't covered in the warranty - they won't cover the technicians time for that portion of the repair. When you are at the dealer, you will see them begging people to leave good reviews. Go back a couple months, they had like a 2 star rating. All the sudden they have 4.7. We are in the process of reporting them to the better business bureau. Hope my review can save others from dealing with this place. Honestly - shit happens and we bought a used car but this place is awful. so many other things I haven't even mentioned occurred. I recently purchased a truck from here my experience with capital motor group has been issue.I've had good friends of mine who worked here and my buddy got his truck from them so I figured I was in good hands.i was dead wrong.i walked in on a Friday,and Spoke with Les.left All my info.nick called me back Sunday to tell me I can pick up the truck.a few days after picking it up,check engine light popped on.so I brung it back.mind you I live in nyc.after two weeks of waiting for my truck,patiently,i finally got it back.check engine light comes on for the same thing.cam and lifters And exhaust leaks.so I bring it back.a month later and nick keeps giving me excuses on why the truck ain't ready.i had to call or text him every other day because he's incompetent.still being patient,I now have to rent a vehicle.and make a truck payment.so nick tells me he spoke to the owner or management,and they agreed that because of the inconvenience,they will make my first truck payment.i thought that was great especially with what I spent.after a few weeks of waiting for that check,I texted nick.apparently the lady who writes checks has been in the hospital for long time so I have to wait for her to recover and return to work to cut me a check.after a month i text nick,no answer.i called him,he blocked my number,I call him from my brothers phone,it rings but eventually he blocked that number too.i called the office and asked for a manager,he or she was not in,asked for nick,apparently he no longer works there (how convenient right?) left les a number and he asked what was this in regards too? as i start to explain,he immediately cuts me off by saying "this is above my pay grade,I'll have a manager call you".two weeks later,no call no nothing.my truck is running ruff with a check engine light.and has alot of missing items on it.(could of been taken from the repair shop or taken off mine to add to a vehicle they are selling,who knows) but either way I know they are not going to pay me anything nor return my call.the same day I got my vehicle,another gentleman bought a car also.he too dropped it off the same day I did.these guys are crooks and untrustworthy.avoid headaches and hassles.go somewhere else.even though this review won't matter to them,I hope it does for the customers. read more

We bought a Dodge Ram less than a year ago for $25,000 and it already died. I own a business and have never had to write a review like this. Thank God my 2000 clients will never buy from them. Horrible service, complete liars, the truck constantly needed work and didn't run 2 months of the last year. My mechanic said they sold us a lemon. The warranty they sold us was supposed to cover everything but electrical and didn't. BEWARE! I've dealt with rich at this dealership and he's very argumentative especially to females the tone in which he speaks to myself is WAY different than how he speaks to my father. Customer service skills are just not there. I left messages with this place multiple times and with different people to have rich call me back and the message never gets to the him and you are left hanging. Finally the manager Paul called me back and left me a voice mail which I appreciate but now I've been trying to call him since Wednesday (it's now Friday) to get my car looked at because my check engine light went on for the 2nd time in the two months that I had it. I still have yet to receive a phone call. I'm missing pieces of the car that were written on the bill of sale in writing that it would be replaced which was a front grill piece and the back door lock. Simple pieces you can literally probably find on Amazon and it's now been over two months and I STILL don't have them with no estimated time of arrival. Every time we ask the answer is always the same "we're working on it". I'm beyond frustrated and every time I speak to Rich he acts like I have some nerve to be annoyed and frustrated. Instead of sympathizing with my frustration and seeing where I'm coming from or coming up with a solution on how to resolve the problems in a timely manner he becomes argumentative and loses his temper quickly. If I knew the car needed 3k in repairs and would be treated so poorly and carelessly then I just simply wouldn't have bought this car. Told us that we were approved to come pick up our vehicle and just bring down the paperwork. We get there and all of a sudden the guy isn't there that got us "approved" so the loan had to be reconfigured. I bought a used Range Rover from Nick from Capital Motor Group on Oct 1 ,2022, it broke down in less than 3 days , it's been in the shop they had it towed to, It's been there for 5 months now, Capital Motor Group has a 30 day warranty , they never fixed it in that time , they dumped it on the extended warranty company , all while I make Car Insurance and Monthly auto payments, I wish I never met Nick Fowler or stopped in to Capital Motor Group, I have a lawyer now, just showing how they've treated me , or complete lack of , My opinion , go somewhere else read more

If i could rate 0 stars i would. Now i can see why this place is so desolate all the time. They try to rip people off here and blatantly lie.. not only do i arrive there and walk inside and no other customers around, i was not greeted and they are all standing around doing nothing, ignoring my prescence and talking only amongst eachother.. I went here to check out an 11 eclipse with all kinds of issues. But let me start off with the first issue, first they try to give me the run around. Tell me apparently they had to wait to get the car at the dealership, then give me an original time it would be ready then changed that again n tell me it would be there at 10am and then it would he ready at 3 bc it was getting detailed. So ur telling me it takes 5 hours to detail a car!!??? First of all it wasnt even detailed you could tell it was just wiped down and ran thru a car wash. And two, i got there before 3, see Nick (salesman there.) and it was already just there sitting there so why did i have to wait all day to see a car they supposedly just got in sitting there all day. He tried to tell me breaks and rotors were done yesterday and clearly they werent they were all rusted. the emblem missing, the keys didn't even work for the back opening up the trunk through the seat by the speaker...weather stripping messed up, mold behind the convertible top, along with scratches and holes on the top, the trunk is messed up bc it doesnt stay up, the dashboard is coming off on the passenger side. . and get this, tried to also lie saying they did a 100 point inspection and i asked again when i got there and they tell me they dont give inspection until the car is payed for....First off like wtf kinda bs is that??? Scam artists, stay away from here!!!! I also requested to see the owner/manager of the place and he would not face me. Sketchy much???? Overpriced for a pos for no reason to be bought and have problems later on. They only care about a sale. In February 2019, I bought a 2013 Chevy Cruze from capital motors group, Les completed the sale for me. Within the second week of me having the car I had to bring it back from some type of fixing. Now being May 2019 I had brought the car back 4 times for some type of fixing needed. This tenth time that the check engine light came on I texted LES like I always did and he wrote back, unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do for you. This dealership is a SCAM! The problems within the car have started with fixing sensors to fixing the thermostat. After they said they fixed the thermostat my car had overheated on a 5-minute drive. When I brought it back that time they told me that nothing was wrong. As the most recent problem is that only 2 days after they told me nothing is wrong with the car the check engine light is on. They KNOW that the car they sold me has something internally wrong with it but they continued to tell me they fixed the problem and that I won't be back. The fact that they don't want to fix the issue this time goes to show that they don't care about their customers. They don't plan on doing anything to make it right. They are the slimy salesmen that everybody hopes to never deal with. They don't care about what they are selling they only care about how much money they are making. Now I'm stuck with a car that has engine problems. Everything that I am writing in this review is 100% so there's nothing they can do to invalidate this rating. I wish I had never crossed paths with this dealership or these people! A decent human would consider the idea of fixing an issue to make things right. Not this specific location, but across the street in the used car lot needs a huge revamp in there people skills, Joe specifically should be looked into as he is the supposed " manager". To explain a 3 month warranty on day of purchase which includes any fluid changes, anything looked at etc , come back about a month later for a fluid change to have him say there was never a warranty given and he will not do the fluid change (when it is on the website in bold that a 3 month warranty is for all vehicles), to then have him tell me to " get the f*go out of his store" after trying to show my warranty. Would not recommend this money hustling dealer, so much better anywhere else! read more

It actually should be zero stars. I bought an 08 Hummer on 7/28/23 from capital motor group, biggest mistake I could make, and anyone else who buys from them. I brought the Hummer to a mechanic on 8/3/23 for a simple oil change and asked the to give the truck the once over. After 10 hours of being in the shop, I was basically told the truck was garbage and not worth fixing it. It would cost me around 6k to fix the mechanics and the frame was so rusted he cant do anything about it. So I was told by Les what a great truck this was , lie after lie...look at the other reviews, mostly all one stars....do not but anything from them, total rip off....wouldnt even look at the truck after I told Les the problems, he said it was sold as is....great customer service, not....I wouldnt recommend capital motor group to my worst enemy....anyone thinking about buying a car from the place, you have been warned...do not buy...drive right past it and go somewhere else. my location is saying san francisco, but the correct location is Long Island... read more

I bought the car in September and in December I had a leaking fuel pump that was spewing out gas on my engine , on top of that my transmission is about to go. Well the moment we picked the car up things changed not only were we lied to about the inspection ( I don't recommend having this used car dealership inspect your vehicle) obviously they will never admit to undisclosed issues. I've contacted this dealership 2x to discuss the undisclosed issues 1. Dry rotted tires, 2. Air conditioner condenser and both times the owner lied about taking responsibility about 2 issues that should have been disclosed before purchase( after the so called inspection).
