We got a scoop of vanilla, a chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle cone, and a lemon pie shake. Disappointed in the cookie dough ice cream. There was literally zero cookie dough :(. Was really just vanilla. Hubs enjoyed the lemon pie shake. We also took an oatmeal cream pie and a brownie to go. Haven't tried them yet but they look fantastic. One thing to note; the menu moves VERY quick. Suggest slowing down how quickly it flips between pages or adding a second screen/split screening. I also think $3.00 for a small water is a bit steep. The service was good but we didn't speak to anyone very long. We just ordered our concrete mixers and adjourned to the table. We were hot, our mouths were still tingling from Hattie B's. I'm surprised we lasted as long as we did. The ambiance was typical Culver's. We frankly camp out at our favorite one in Minneapolis so walking into this one in Tennessee still feels like home. They've got damn good frozen custard here that they'll give you in exchange for money; that's pretty much all you need to know.

We got a tahini brownie, an espresso chocolate chip cookie, and a coconut and orange scone. Of course, they also sell beautiful breads and some small meal options like paninis and granola bowls. It all looked delightful. Service was very pleasant and patient. The lady in line ahead of me wasn't being very kind to the workers and speaking to them in a very demanding tone, and they handled her with grace and professionalism. They were also working cohesively as a team to ensure quick service. All our treats were yummy. My surprise favorite was probably the coconut and orange scone. The glaze on top was sweet and pleasantly crackle-y and the flavors were balanced and paired perfectly together. The espresso cookie was also balanced and super yummy; espresso and chocolate go together for a reason! The tahini brownie was fun to try and wildly gooey/rich as promised by the addition of the tahini, almost too much so for my preferences. It is SO fudgy, lol. Definitely very pleased with the whole experience. Give them a try if you're nearby!

I have loved, no pun intended, Just Love Coffee for years after visiting a location in Atlanta, so when I wandered over to Hermitage this weekend and spotted the sign...I had to stop by before leaving the area! Just Love is more than just coffee, even though that is what I enjoy most about them. They offer a solid variety of coffee and espresso based drinks along with a few teas and refresher style drinks. The cold brew is my go-to and I fancy it up with a few syrups and some almond milk...but any way it is served is tasty. I have enjoyed the Iced Mocha at other locations, so I imagine it is just as tasty here. For food they have a surprisingly stacked menu including breakfast and lunch, with classics to specialty items. You can get a breakfast sandwich to a few breakfast tacos or even biscuits and gravy...and if you are feeling brave, a waffle stuffed with breakfast meats and eggs topped with gravy or syrup...and that is just for breakfast! For lunch they have a few sandwiches, a quesadilla and a wrap all served with a side of chips. They also offer fresh made desserts if the cookies and other baked goods up front are not doing it for you. The space is well laid out and features a large dining area with plenty of tables and even a small bar/counter space in the nook of the front where you can belly up to the counter for a little work, coffee, food or combination of all. During my visit, I was greeted and served by the owners, a pair of sisters who are an absolute delight! While I popped by for a cold brew, I spotted a few bags of coffee beans and had to scoop them up for some home brew. We chatted through their recommendations and I ended up with an espresso blend and an Ethiopian medium roast. The one blend they recommended the most, Costa Rican, was out unfortunately, but that tells me it is a solid bean, so I will have to keep my eyes out for it! Overall, absolutely adore Just Love Coffee and so glad to see them make their way to the Hermitage area. While I do not go that way often, knowing Just Love is there gives me one more reason to spend a little bit more time in the area!
