This compact ice cream place has a good collection of ice cream flavors and a modest seating space with limited chairs and couple of tables. The staff are friendly and they also sell celebration cakes. The reason I'm giving this place a star less is because I didn't find the cream of couple of flavors sweet enough. It's a walk-up ice cream shop on a summer weekend so I expect to wait and pay for the privilege of participating in this recurring ritual. Service wasn't brisk but why should it be when customers are ordering custom combinations that would give a Starbucks barista ulcers. Häagen-Dazs may have had super premium origins in the 80s but it is now owned by food conglomerate General Mills so, it's not exactly a boutique creamery. I ordered two scoops of chocolate and had it in 45 seconds. And then there's the guy behind me who's bitching and moaning at the cost. Well, I suspect you can buy a gallon of Breyer's at ShopRite for pennies on the dollar and eat it in the parking lot. But that's not exactly what I'd call living the dream. I suspect I could also chew on a raw filet mignon in my basement for twenty bucks but I'd much rather go to Peter Luger's - go for it Rockefeller, your date will be very impressed. The manager/owner Mary Jane at this location is amazing! I ordered a cake for my son's second bday thru Uber eats bc (I know bad planning) and the manager called me to apologize she didn't have the cake I ordered. I was so grateful when she sent a different cake and a gift card for future use to make up the difference. She completely saved the day and even tonight she assisted me using the gift card. People like her are the only way retail businesses will survive. Thank you so much! read more

Me and my family have been coming here for years and for the most part have always been served with kindness and respect, however today was the complete opposite. The employees who served us this evening were rude and stingy with the servings. When I tried to amicably address it, it was received with an attitude from both employees. The fam and I came here around late February. The store was empty but we were greeted by a friendly employee. The ice cream is delicious and they've expanded their flavors and menu options. The dulce de leche and new spirits flavors don't disappoint! There was a chocolate ice cream sampler comparable to a beer flight item but with different varieties of chocolate ice cream. I've noticed the Haagen-Dazs chains have gotten stingy with their ice cream, weighing every scoop to the ounce, that the value just isn't there. It's probably best to enjoy their variety of yummy flavors from a pint at the supermarket, where you could get the most bang for your buck. read more

The ice cream is always delicious and the location seems very clean which is always a plus. I would give 5 stars to the young man (I think his name was Frankie) because is level of customer service really raises the bar. The unfortunate news is that the older women whom work there are lazy and unhelpful. I was standing for 10 minutes and next in line when Frankie was scooping up a quart of ice cream for a patron. The ladies made eye contact with me a couple times and smile and continued to the backroom. This has happened on two occasions now and has made me livid. I was in the mood for a chocolate shake, so I got the Belgian Chocolate shake and what a sheer and utter disappointment it was. It was so thin it was like drinking chocolate milk. The taste was there but left me 100% unsatisfied. The staff was not overly friendly or good in my opinion either. This place is good when the owner isn't there. When she is she is a penny pincher. I ordered the midnight sundae dasher and literally only got two scoops of ice cream and with whip cream didn't even pass middle of the cup. So we look up the times for ice cream places still opened and we find that the HD like 5 mins away from us closes at 10pm so were like sweet were gonna go ask if we can leave and carpool with our cousins to cop that. Should be zero stars for service and food. We had the same experience as the other reviewer's comment about the milk shake being watery. When my husband respectfully complained they made us another but we received the same consistency. Great location! it's very convenient but poor service ! My second time there , it was a special night Free cone night my daughter walked out crying because the lady would not serve her a second scoop of Ice cream due to the rule of one per costumer. She had a scoop but she did not like her choice so she wanted to try a different flavor. There where no customers in line at that time . My family and I were hoping to stop by the shop for some ice cream after dinner. When my brother called at 9:35pm, he was told that the shop closed at 9:40pm. Five minutes later, I called the shop again (at 9:40pm), and they told me that they closed at 9:45pm. Finding it odd, my husband called again at 10:00 pm, when the recording confirmed that they closed at 10pm not 9:40 or 9:45. We would up going to Thomas Sweets instead, which clearly turned out to be the better choice.
