    Ice cream sandwich

The Baked Bear is an ice cream spot specializing in build your own ice cream sandwiches. You can also have simple ice cream of course. First we selected the cookie. This time the M & M cookie caught my daughter's eye. Second step is to select the ice cream and cookies and cream was the selection. Last step you select the topping to go around the middle. Helen picked rainbow sprinkles. It was huge! I am so glad we decided right at the beginning to share. The two girls Working were great and nice vibes inside for easy seating.

Went with a couple of tweens who were really excited about checking out TBB. We were able to make it there on a weekday evening about 10 pm. A little bit of wait and it was still very lively (they close at 12am). I understand this will always be the case because it is geared toward to college crowd, in the heart of NB. It is right across from Thomas Sweet ice cream, which is a long time staple in the area, so I was surprised by the location. The tweens ordered ice cream sandwiches and I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a pint of blackberry crumble ice cream. I appreciated being asked if I wanted to cookie warmed up.. yes, please. It was a delicious cookie, for sure. I was very happy. The ice cream, unfortunately, it has less of a milky texture and more of a gummy texture if that makes sense. Less Haagen Dazs, more Ben & Jerry's.. which I don't prefer. Service was friendly.

Great tasting ice cream. Lots of room for sitting. And nice lighting for conversation. Patricia and Melanie were great with service.

Pretty fun novelty with decent ice cream. This particular location partners with Too Good To Go to sell older cookies cheaper too. The cookies are pretty good. It's a pricey novelty and doesn't replace a local shop but it's fun to try. The service is hit or miss - the teens are too busy staring at their phones. Parking around Easton can be a bit tough.

Had a taste for something sweet, stumble on this spot after realizing Thomas Sweets was closed! Definitely glad they were because the ice cream sandwich from here was freaking delicious. The cookies alone would have been great but the ice cream made it even better. The place was well lit and clean. The server had no personality and wasn't really helpful but luckily that didn't stop me from filling my craving! I will definitely be back for the cake butter cookie with cookies and cream ice cream!

Stopped by The Baked Bear on a night out in New Brunswick. The Baked Bear is a small spot to grab dessert with little seating. I got the Cookiewich, one of the specialties at Baked Bear. The taste was amazing, but was quite heavy. Would recommend if you are a true dessert enthusiast. You choose your cookies and ice cream as you go, so service is quick.

Solid dessert spot. Built your own ice cream sandwich with warm cookies - hard to go wrong. Rich flavours and a lot of combinations. Definitely on the sweet/heavy side, but worth it if you're craving something indulgent.

When my friend told me his favorite ice cream spot in Long Branch was coming to New Brunswick we had to give it a try. I was a bit skeptical with a name like the baked bear. It seemed like a trendy spot that majored in sugar but minored in quality. I was so glad to be wrong! I ordered dark chocolate ice cream sandwiched between two cookies and cream cookies (crumbled Oreo's and cheesecake bites). Both the cookie and the ice cream were delicious! The ice cream was rich and the cookie had great texture and balanced flavor. There is so more much to explore on the menu! You can opt to have them hot press the cookie sandwich. The benefit is a warm cookie. The downside is the ice cream melts faster. I went with the warm cookie and had to eat it with a spoon as a result. It worked out, but might be worth passing on the press.

    Ice cream Sandwich!

It's alright. Service is good. Better than I expected. The ice cream is too gummy. It could be better.

The parking is inconspicuous and in the back shop. Make sure you dont miss it and turn into the realtor parking nextdoor. While they do have a shop, their actual store front was closed, which was a huge disappointment as we were trying to hide from the heat, but there are benches in the front of the store facing the street for some immediate seating options. The servers are your typical friendly-enough highschool/college-aged workers. They were sure to answer any questions I had and provided a requested sample, but I felt a bit disconnected and shut out from the screens and doors they are behind while you are trying to ask them questions. I get it may just be a cost-saving measure with the AC, but it made the whole interaction a bit sketchy to be honest. Oh well, all that comes with a hole-in-the-wall joint! In our urgency to escape the heat, we ended up downing the ice cream before I got pics~ I got the chocolate chip cookie dough and caramel cold brew, which was an AMAZING combo with chocolate chips in both ice cream flavors, and generous heaps of cookie dough. My friend got the cinnamon churro, and chocolate and peanut butter swirl, and he highly recommended the peanut butter swirl! Overall, they have some delicious and plentiful ice creams and they are generous with the portions here. If you are stopping by for a summer evening, I do believe its worth a try.

And my husband had a peach flavored ice cream. We both weren't fans. Not sure how they make their soft serve but it was so thin. It was like the texture of cool whip. It was a little off putting. My husband didnt care for the after-taste of his ice cream. We will definitely have to try the other ice cream shops in the area

This is a small little shop that has a little bit of seating. There is outdoor seating if you would like to sit outside. The staff here was very friendly and helped us get a deal they were currently running which is always appreciated. The service here was pretty quick. We ordered two drinks and got them fairly fast. The drinks were pretty good and I really enjoyed what I got, was a tea with tropical. I would definitely come here and order again. If you're a local and this is walking distance for you, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Just keep in mind, there is no/limited seating inside. However, they do have an outdoor bench, but it is unusable based on how cold jersey gets. It's more of a grab and go situation. Inside there's a lot of flavors and options, and they do bubble tea very well. There's different types of cheese, foams, flavoring, and aesthetic colors and cups. Inside you can order via kiosk with all of the pictures and the menu, or you can order at the front with the servers. All the flavors are extremely delicious, and they have a lot of variety. That I don't think that you could go wrong. If you're more into fruity or classic milk tea, they have a lot of ways that you can make a match as well. The only issue is that it's on the more expensive side for bubble tea, with a cup being around seven dollars. But for New Jersey, those are kind of typical pricing for Boba.
