My kids love going here even though they aren't adventurous with flavors. BUT I finally tried their ice cream cake. You can order online if you want specific flavors and they usually have premade ones if you just walk in. I walked in and just ordered in person. It was a Just-Because-I-Want-It cake disguised as a belated birthday cake (which it was, but I got it because I wanted to try it). I got a 6" cake with taro and milk tea flavors inside and it came with two small cones of ice cream on top (I chose soursop and red bean for those). It is not what I expected. It is almost all ice cream with a very thin whipped cream type "frosting" on the outside - and sprinkles! - that made it look like a normal cake until you cut into it. No layer of actual flour-based cake inside. It's solid ice cream. Since it's perfectly sweet, it worked great! Also excellent for those who may have a wheat allergy (unless you get the cookie flavors) so now I'm considering one for my kid with food allergies (but not to milk). And that's the update to my review. Still a stellar place to get ice cream.
