We went there and one of the female staff asked us to take a seat and to wait while they wait for a stylist to open up. She let us know that it could take a while, but we let her know that we were willing to wait as we heard good things about this salon. We took a seat and waited 30-40 minutes. When she finished with her previous client she came over and let us know that she couldn't get us in today and that the salon was fully booked!!!!!!! We left absolutely enraged and it completely ruined our day!!! I went here for a head spa while my brother received a haircut. I loved the hospitality, but I was a little iffy about the duration of my head spa service. The spa took about 40 minutes, and I was hoping I could go for the full hour as listed on their website. There wasn't any detail on the website about it, so I guess I should have asked what it entailed. Anyway, everything else was perfection. My brother received a nice hair cut. They cut your hair first, then wash and blow dry. As for my treatment, I did enjoy the scalp and massage. The stylist applied the right pressure and it was relaxing. He was both fast and detail-oriented..he really took his time to make sure my hair came out perfect, and it exceeded my expectations. On my son's graduation day, I had an appointment for a Shampoo and Blow Dry with Yukari. She was very efficient. Before she sat me down for the shampoo, she asked me what I wanted to do with my hair and she gave me her thoughts on it. We agreed to go with a light feathery and dreamy look to match the dress that I was going to be wearing that day. Her shampoo was so awesome. I'd say it's like a shampoo plus massage. I will be coming back for the head spa just for that reason!!! She took care not to burn my scalp as she blow dried my hair and also curled my hair. Today was my first time at I Be salon and I had the most spectacular experience ever! I usually get a bit nervous going to a salon for the first time but Nancy was absolutely phenomenal. I asked Nancy for face framing, long layers, and a v-cut shape and she had it down perfectly. She is very kind, precise, and you can tell she is very knowledgeable with what she does. I came here after a friend recommended it to me and I have not had any luck finding a hair salon that cuts Asian hair well. I thought, ok Japanese salon, surely they know how to cut Asian hair! I just needed layers put in because the last salon I went to, I ended up with super choppy, very unblended layers. This time, the top layer was definitely shorter than I was expecting (lol), then all the next layers were ok and he kept my length which is what I wanted. It did take a few weeks for me to be completely happy with the cut (let it grow out and live in it for a little) because I didn't love the shortness of the top layer at first, but now it has grown on me and I'm happy with it! The only thing that was weird was since I don't speak Japanese, I didn't know why my hair stylist left (in the middle of him cutting my hair) to tend to someone else (he told me after it was his wife!) and even started cutting her hair. THE WORST SERVICE I EVER HAD. I paid $50 for UNEVEN HAIRCUT with BAD ATTITUDE. DO NOT GO TO "YOTA KONO" 光野陽太! And I repeat: DO NOT GO TO "YOTA KONO" 光野陽太! Yota CANNOT CUT MEN's HAIR. Went in for haircut today at 1:30pm with Yota and told him what I wanted before the haircut. When I asked him to cut my hair shorter, he started giving me an angry and dirty look and terrible attitude all of a sudden. He only cut one side of my head's hair shorter and then just told me to go wash my hair. He didn't lead or point me to any chair for washing my hair, he just told me to go. I had to guess which chair until he walked over. Then, he didn't put a tissue over my face to cover to prevent the water from going into my face. Every time, I came here he always put the tissue over my face. After washing my hair, he then dried my hair and I noticed my hair was uneven. When I asked him to fix and even out hair, HE REFUSED TO FIX and told me I was fine. I ASKED HIM MULTIPLE TIMES to FIX MY HAIR, he still REFUSED and RUSHED ME OUT. He also never offered me a Head & Shoulder Massage which he always offer in the past. Just gave me an ANGRY & DIRTY LOOK, and asked me for money. At that point, I just paid $50 and left. I really want to give this place a good review but I can't because this is the worst hair dye color I've ever had in my life. Recently moved to Vegas and wanted a light brown hair color. It was supposed to be the simplest. First of all no I didn't get any Japanese service. The person doing my hair wasn't even Japanese when I was under the impression that I'd make an appointment with Yota. The brown I wanted was turned into a horrible dried up blonde highlights. Upon drying my hair my stylist kept trying to blame it on me, saying my hair did not lift because I've dyed it dark/black before (It was my virgin hair. I never dyed it black). He knew he messed up but there was not a single apology. He kept saying "it's not that bad right" and blamed again on my hair being dyed "black". I walked out wanting to cry because I got a horrible dried up sloppy blonde highlights while being blamed that it's my fault. This was my first salon in Vegas and the most horrible experience. I was recommended this salon by word of mouth and decided to give it a try. I had my haircut and color performed by Yukari. On my first visit I had shown her a haircut and color I loved, normally a stylist will be able to make a similar haircut and color or not at all alike, not in this case, I was surprised to find she did EXACTLY the same as the picture!
