To the bad, I did not visit because of any sale the salesman just prompted me to look at their sale items and when push came to shove and I had to figure out which size fit me (and he would have had to repeatedly open packages of boxers), he wanted my assurance I would "actually buy" the boxers if we found my size. I walked out after thanking him, I don't need to promise anything to anyone to get service. Parenthetically, all my shirts are from comparable shops so I was ripe for recruitment as a customer. Instead of going back for more abuse, I found Miller's. The store has a classic look from when it first opened decades ago. Inside the store, I also experienced old fashioned courtesy and professionalism. I originally entered the store on Mamaroneck Avenue and went downstairs with my bicycle. Martín tested out a pump I considered purchasing by pumping air into both of my flat bicycle tires. It was a great experience I'd highly recommend. After my purchase, Martin raised the big door for me (which opened onto Phillips Park Road). I rolled out of there a happy customer!

Having much experience with bicycle shops over my 50 plus years plus I was surprised when they had an advertisement in a Bicycle trade paper for a floor manager. I went in for the ''interview'' during Covid and was given a Half Attention dialog/interview with the owner and concluded they are guilty of ageism pure and simple. To make matters more egregious, i subsequently stopped by to pay a token visit as a customer to actually purchase a maintenance product and was given that same blank stare. I have urged all my serious cyclist friends since to avoid said establishment, especially if you are over 50 years old. Sorry to write, some people never get it or have courtesy. Ray K.

This location is not far from home, so I decided to check it out. I came in on Saturday around 4pm and there were several people ahead of me. Rather than wait, I decided to go have an early dinner at a restaurant in the mall and try my luck later when everyone else was probably going for dinner. So I came back at 5:45 and Sabrina was immediately available to help me. The store is rather cluttered (as are many Claire's stores) and doesn't appear particularly sanitary so I was a little concerned, but Sabrina showed me how everything was done (things were packaged, sealed and sterile) and I felt confident that there would be no problem Since I've got plenty of earrings at home (I inherited a large collection from my mother), I made a rather plain choice, the stainless steel 4mm balls on posts. The earrings, piercing and a large bottle of solution to be used 3X a day for the next six weeks cost, tax included, a bit under $27. There are other earrings should you prefer something real gold or more decorative at a range of different prices, nothing they offer would break the bank. The paperwork (there are health regulations and they need your signature for a number of different issues) took the bulk of the time. I hardly felt a pinch when the posts were inserted. It was quick, painless and considering the circumstances, a very pleasant experience. Sabrina was more than pleasant, clearly knew what she was doing and answered any questions I had. She measured carefully, making sure the holes were in the same place on both ears. After she did the piercing, she clearly explained what I needed to do (apply solution, turn, etc) and the paperwork explained everything else. I recommend this store should you want to have your ears pierced.

My first time here and decided what I can find useful to fill in my cart for about 50 bucks total .As I roam aisle to aisle , section to section , I grab a little of this and that from the oversized shelves . Stuff is more then a dollar tree buck, a bit more but the quality is better from home goods , personal items, party stuff, toys , stuff like cleaning products , stationary supplies and much more . I went over my budget and most likely I really don't need most of my purchases but I can also give some stuff away ,well maybe not the fridge magnets , collapsible laundry bag , door welcome mats and the neon desk palm tree light set .Ok maybe I will keep everything and that's good enough for 4 stars on my yelp meter.

I had a very good experience today with a young man name John. He was very nice and patient. He measured my kids and was not pushy and did not recommend things you didn't need. The place is a bit expensive, but it comes to be expected. The store was clean and organized and the employees were definitely working hard running back and forth. I have no reservations about recommending John to help you with your kids school uniform needs.

The only bad thing is it's a bit expensive and the workers if there over whelmed can be a bit standoffish and dismissive, like when summer is ending and every one is in there buying there children last minute uniforms for school.
